Ok, something weird has been happening for a few days now. After playing for a while, I've noticed that playing on 60 fps mode will suddenly drop frames, to about 30 fps. Turning 60 fps mode off and on again fixes this issue. Has this happened to anyone else?

That sounds incredibly weird. You should be able to home from anywhere then when you arrive or load up the game again you should be able to use return shrine to go right back where you were to the nearest check point spot. Am I understanding this wrong? I’m very confused now.

Hey y'all! So I just went through Beta Eden, and I have a quick question about it. I know some people have said that they're having problems with the walking being super slow in Eden. Which parts of Eden were that? Because I was able to walk normally and actually had my fastest run for most parts of Eden except 1.) The tunnel before pnr and 2.) in the very final part. But I did notice that any time my light was out, my Skykid was in pain. Were they walking for you guys like that through all of Storm, or just the second half?

2nd run in 'new' Eden for Beta: 132 winged light isn't enough with the new slow speed to get all the statues. Got to the constant rock rain at 95 winged light, most efficient route only got me to just before the dunes and missed the 3 past the dunes and one right before the dunes. People in live will go nuts if this change goes live.

Yeah, I sent feedback immediately about this. The spirits really need that call feature back, plus manta call is very badly designed with only one node available at a time. When did that change and why? It used to be a fun challenge you could do with friends.

Yes it is very painful. What I noticed was that I was able to jump or run faster in some instances in the last heavy fire part but it would stop and continue with the slow walk. I hope this is not intentional.

Backflip spirit story is actually cool with the manta rider 😂 but like with manta emote it is difficult to see where the next “step” is because of the bright backlight of the area and deep call does not reveal where to go next. The quest almost timed out on me.
Also, the new Eden experience - why increasing difficulty means frustration in Sky? Eden is not a nice experience to relive weekly (imo), and now this extra slow mode to experience pain with a game which was meant to bring joy? There must be another way to increase level difficulty which I suppose was introduced because we now have too many winged light for the original level design. Either add more statues or lose wings more quickly, but the current slow mode is pretty harsh. As it was not mentioned as known issue I suspect it’s intended. (feedback done)

Interesting idea! Technically speaking the only Eden I've seen in wasteland is the Ice-cream mountain and it's the closest to Eden from the outside we are. Above other clouds in wasteland, there's only sky and the moon. But maybe they intended for us to believe Eden is above the clouds. Although Eden from Starlight desert is quite far away compared to Eden in wasteland.... maybe that puts the desert somewhere far and safe away from everything else, but Vault is the closest way to get there

I personally dont say ''starlight dessert is ***in *** vault" but "starlight dessert is accessible from vault" since it qualifies as a realm of it's own and vault itself is a tower.

Vault is a tower located inside of the eden mountain, wasteland is located on the bottom of the mountain. Since the vault represents night the area follows it's theme and hence is in night mode. Geographically, starlight dessert is on the left side of wasteland (notice how we don't have areas accessible from the left side of wasteland). However I think there's a good amount of sea dividing wasteland from starlight dessert, hence the dessert is unaffected by the ''toxicness'' of wasteland.

my only issue with the location is eden's placement. It is correct, that it's on the right side of the area, however it should be appearing MUCH closer, like a lot closer. As I said wasteland temple is on the bottom of the mountain and when entering the vault we're entering the eden mountain.

the manta call quest was already hard in comparison of the usual spirit quests due to the speed of the light nodes
combined with no indicator it was like spot the difference between the light nodes and wind lines all while frantically chasing them
atleast when we catch one it roughly shows which direction a light node is at

Yeah, if the season starts mid July, it won't be until early September (6-7 weeks) before the sword pants are even available for purchase.

By playing for 1 hour you can collect 15 candles, and remember that in a week the seasonal candles become normal candles (white candles).. with that u have enough to save for the rainbow cape and in 2 months you save for the sword pants

Yeah, we don't really keep track of how many stars you can get max in beta. Most of us don't even collect realm stars anymore since most of us rebirth with 7 wedges.

I think an hour of candle run for 10-15 candles is quite lenient compared to many other mmos that takes 6+ hours daily to grind to complete events . So to me this change and the prices of the sword suit is completely justified

It's the delicate balance of a currency that you can buy via IAP and grind. 200 candles is just the right amount to illicit candle pack sales,(they have to recoup the cost of the pants somehow) but not hurt f2p players too much.

If you’re someone who sets art as a carrer, you’ll know the principle of copyright. I’m also broke and a new player. Imo, You can’t want everything just for the sake of it and not because you want it to be your personality/be happy wearing it. You can’t want everything without effort. You don’t have to get TS cosmetics, event cosmetics, season cosmetics all at once. Event cosmetics or TS can comeback, will always comeback. I’ve responded to a fellow player about busy people who don’t have time ⬆️

If one want TS, event, also season (pretty much everything) imo, I doubt that one’s that busy because they keep track of Sky events and dates...

And just save up. No need to use candles to friends (you should explain to them why), no need to buy from constellation, etc

What I did was run the spirit in live and note where the fragments spawn and move, then did it in beta. Also, the camera points you to the next spawn point.

The light is bugged. But every time your camera moves after you have taken a light, go to that direction. Follow the direction to where your camera moves after you light the spirit.

Just like we can do some of the first main quests in one day. In this case, we are given the opportunity to test and give feedback on all new relives. Perhaps let TGC know which ones were your favourites. 🙂

As long as it is clear that the sword pants will be available only during the season and it costs 200 candles then I’m pretty sure many players will be able to collect 200 candles within 11 weeks (they can even start saving now)

depends, it clips on a lot of hairstyles with more volume. Same goes with the healing flower.

nah that is the internal string of code they use to classify the type of quests, its not intended that way.

DoH: Flower clips a LOT on almost every hair styles, tho, to my surprise it sits well on some hairs from Prophecy to Dreams.

Seasonal candle node? There's one underwater on Valley Ice Rink (missed that for 4 days) and 1 near SoL: Twirling Champion and on Wasteland, the hidden ones (that i can think of) would be above the sewer pipe thingy? and outside broken temple near the "duck" emote last relive point.
