Beta players giving us their feedback in #beta-feedback is important to us because it can help us judge the impact of new features, items, and costs. I can't give many details, but I know that our team has other data they take into consideration, too.

Nazzy, they have way more time to compile a patch for live than for beta. We get our updates as they come, so its most likely not as optimized. (Take this with a grain of salt, I'm not an expert)

there are some things that aren't addressed in #beta-feedback that are here in #beta-discussion

like positive feedbacks.

such as the black capes!
a lot of people only brought up how they liked the capes as they are when a few people mentioned that they were too dark for their taste.

i hope they judge the popularity of an opinion carefully when making a change due to player feedback

i suggested in #beta-feedback that they should search the popular keywords in #beta-discussion to verify the ratio of oppositions

but that might not work out properly.

so, let's not forget to give positive feedbacks in #beta-feedback channel.
i'll also do my part.

a big factor was because we overlooked that there were deadlines the devs had to make.

the build that had the last quest of assembly had the UI changes and various bugs.

beta-testers were a bit disappointed as they reported those bugs but made it to live anyway.

but yeah, deadlines deadlines deadlines...

if the final quest didnt arrive on time while the season of assembly is about to close, then that'll be a whole set of problems

I have a question...Why was the geyser wax capped? It’s not like that people were misusing it like the Bloom Tree.Tbh,as long as the geyser worked I was so much in peace.There were times when I would be so busy and I wouldn’t have time to run maps,visiting the geyser few times would give me so much candles that I would be done for the day.I’ve spoken to a lot of people regarding this and they all feel the same.

I’m perfectly happy with the change. The Prince’s clothes ARE now available. We can now dress up as him. Wanting his other clothes that aren’t part of the season will cost you extra which makes perfect sense. I think it’s reasonable. I don’t care much for the sword suit or green cape anyways. I’m not fond of the pajamas either, but the concern was more that we couldn’t get the outfit of the Season’s main representative and that was disappointing. But now we can. Guys TGC is trying to make this as fair as possible, they need a lot of money to run servers, provide for themselves and employees. This is a collaborative season with the little prince and to feature someone’s work into your own costs money.
I agree they shouldn’t make seasonal items as purchase it feels wrong to pay for more seasonal items if you already have the pass.
The price seems high for some we all live in different areas and have different incomes but like I said before they are high to provide for themselves and for us to continue playing sky.
They make the cool items as iap for a targeted market to persuade potential customers. Its not out of “greed” its simply basic business; sky is never a paid to win game because there is no “win” other than the main story.
The items are simply if you want to show support and if you like the item. But if your only focusing on you wanting it and not how it will help TGC then you never supported them and you’re the ones with greed wanting something with out the price.
Again I think it is unfair that extra seasonal purchases are in this season but if its to help the game and company I love then I support it as long as my favorite game stays up and alive for more people to experience this amazing game.

The sword pants are only shown 1 time in the book, so since they're not an iconic look of LP to the same extent as the green pants, I think its fine that they're IAP Think of that outfit as an alternate look for the LP. Its not the same iconic outfit you think of when you think of the book.

Sorry to pop again lmao, i said this in a msg earlier today, ultimate gifts are supposed to either feel special or magical for the player in order to get, either that, or it should have a micro-changing game-play experience to make them feel U L T I M A T E, being honest, i think that some of the seasons (specially recent ones) are just a bunch of cosmetics that, tbh, does not feel "special" or "ultimate" at all. in this case, the scarf definitely DOES actually look like something ultimate , unique and special, but white hair for example, i just don't see it, if it doesn't end up as an UG i think those who wanna be capeless in beta will have another reason why not to get the AP. I think this is just player assumption on what ultimate gifts are supposed to be. Ultimate means final, aka the last gift of the season, which is what they already are. They're meant to be a symbol that you completed the season.

Plus, Ults that you may not think are anything cool now may end up gaining fame later on. Owl hair from Rhythm was hated at first in beta because it didn't feel special enough compared to past items. Now it's one of the most popular and desirable items in sky.

I think they’ve done wonderfully, and I’m a little surprised that the (rather large) leap of change towards listening to the community over in app purchases has gotten them such little recognition after all of that. It’s like people are ungrateful that they were listened to? Take a look at any game out there and you’ll see iaps for cosmetics, I would never fault the devs here for ushering their way down that road too. I know the money doesn’t grow on trees phrase is overwhelmingly boring to hear but, y’know? They gotta bring money in, more than they already manage if they want to grow. So I don’t know why people are so riled up about the fact that they’re opening up opportunities for people who want to spend more money/give more money to tgc except for that they’re not immediately capable of obtaining said cosmetics. Which, one, you don’t need it, and two, even if you did, it’s gonna be there for months at a time— idk, it’s just saddening to see them work towards a common issue and be told it’s not enough :(

This is ignoring a whole 2/3rds of the season though if we just focus on cosmetics as the reason this collab exists! Only a portion of a season are its cosmetics, we are also getting a brand new area, music, emotes, storyline, gameplay...the list goes on. An event wouldn't have that. I personally am looking forward to the experience this season, and we would be missing all of that if this was simply an event. LIttle Prince is more than his pants and his scarf...it's about his story. I hope you can understand.

Sometimes builds in beta may be unstable and not be optimised so the heating problems are expected. Maybe try turning down graphics, turning off sounds, avoid playing while charging or putting a small fan under your phone while playing so it doesn't overheat.

IAPs are expensive for being something digital, other games charing ridiculous amounts for iaps doesn't excuse that behaviour. But anyway, IAPS are exclusive items for people who earn or have much more money to spend on trivial things rather than the average. Average people may spend in adventure pass and no more. It still feel super bad the feeling of being unable to complete this season unless you pay the IAPs. I usually pay for adventure pass packs so I can give it to friends who struggle to afford it. But now I can't afford to give them the beautiful cape , scarf and etc, and neither for myself. I feel betrayed somehow, intentionally hyped by this company and my will to keep playing and supporting is already a "meh"

As much as I personally love transparency and sharing information, there are things like communications approval processes and NDAs that we have to make sure we're respecting. It's not us trying to be mean, we just can't make promises regarding IAPs if those decisions aren't ready to be shared publicly yet. I can absolutely empathize with the impatience for a Final Answer, but it's just not feasible right now.
What I can say, though, is that we read through all of the feedback that y'all post for us in channels like #beta-feedback , so if you've shared your thoughts about the IAPs there, then it will be read and taken into consideration by the team.

And to those who say that buying iAP cosmetics is needed to support TGC I reply that I already shout enough to support them by buying the AP.
If they couldn't afford a collaboration, they shouldn't have done it since we didn't ask for it. Since they have to put the main iAP cosmetics at their weight in gold to get back into it.

Cosmetics are one of the incentives for completing quests daily, but they certainly aren’t what I’d call what the game revolves around. You don’t launch the app as a moth and immediately get told “go get the cosmetics, go now”. You go through a wonderful story, and on the side you collect and enhance your aesthetic along the way. Seasons are very similar in that they bring a story with them, so referring to cosmetics as the only selling point is akin to telling me everyone plays this to put clothes on a model when you could probably do that elsewhere with less effort-

you dodged my question. No one is saying servers run for free but how can you run servers overtime if it already runs almost 24x7? Please answer.
Also lets not talk about past seasons ULTS as 1 ult back then actually felt like an ULT (Deer Mask, Umbrella, BONFIRE, Rhythm hair) and now we just get cosmetics and lately we have been getting not so great stuff as ults. Even TGC has said thay they have sort of nerfed the ult.

I personally don't play that way, I get candles for adding new people and upgrading friendships mostly. Cosmetics are a big part of the sky community's gameplay, but it's not what everyone is focused on.
If you have any gameplay ideas for sky thats not related to cosmetic, what would you add? Since Sky is non-combative gameplay, I imagine it makes things trickier. No boss battles in this game.

it varies from person to person. I used to solo and all I cared about was cosmetics and completing all seasons. there are many people like that, not everyone feels like socializing some ppl just want to be left alone grind for cosmetics and that's how they play the game. nothing wrong with that Imo. cosmetics arent the only selling point but completely dismissing them being like "it's just cosmetics" is an invalid argument on so many levels
