I really feel like most times tgc has decided what they'll do and beta doesn't have as much power in feedback as we think we do. I don't like the iap but I feel like they'll just ignore us or throw something else at us and hope we get distracted... It's a bit disheartening

I really have to agree with the personal preference and the handpan in question. It’s not an item I love or use, i just got it, because it was an ultimate. Yesterday i tried to play one of the new music sheets and another player joined. We ended up unlocking chat and talk about when did we started etc. When they figured out i had the handpan in beta, they got so excited and suggested to play a sheet which has a good handpan part. Small things like this are needed sometimes to remind me/us, that items we might not value that much, can be absolute favorites to others.

reposting this from earlier, the problem with rhythm's ult hair and the current season's ult hair is the quality and creativity, imo. rhythm's hair is unique, literally used to be the only ponytail hair until switch came along. prince's hair is a shaved down valley elder hair, it's not that special nor will it really be memorable. the prince isn't defined by his weave

Yeah, there is far too few actually nice more masculine hair and majority of them either look strange or very similar to one another (like the side swept hair from assembly resembles the one from sanctuary). I hope we’ll get more short hair that looks great so everyone can express themselves better. And a low ponytail would be great (unless it clips into capes )

I understand it's for shared spaces but it doesn't feel worth an ult, you know what i mean? I feel like the shared spaces cater to a very specific playstyle/ group and it could be nice if the ult was something that would be used and enjoyed by more. Or the ult should be worth more than a decoration you visit in forest sometimes.
In my opinion... Maybe i just don't like the idea or function of shared spaces. I'm not sure if I'm wording this well, I apologize if it's a bit confusing 🥲

I always wish for more instruments, even if they were just basic maracas i would still love them. The trumpet and the pipa(?? Sorry I’ve forgotten what the dreams instrument is called) feel a bit too jarring to listen to so I always end up switching to a harp instead. Props are easier to implement than instruments so we get a lot more of those instead

I believe this figure is not completely accurate, as amount of downloads doesn't reflect the actual situation.the fraction of active players that will be willing to purchase should be taken in consideration, and TGC probably has a more accurate figure regarding expected profit. Yes it is not the accurate figure but it shows just how popular the game is. They are definitely making money from the AP alone, especially because I assumed that people just buy AP for themselves which they don't. Some people buy for their friends, people buy the days of X stuff (I buy the days of X stuff). The apple store ranks them as one of the top free apps and they don't do that if they don't make a profit

That was just an example with the fox. And I honestly doubt it will move, can you imagine how hard it would be to do that, not to mention if everyone in a server used it at the same time? It most likely would have a lot of issues. Either way, doesn’t change the fact that props that have no use are still going to be forgotten sooner or later, unlike the props that are useful to bring on daily candle runs or for hanging out, like the swing and such.

TGC tried lower-cost purchases twice, once with orange and other with shell necklace. Orange wasn't even for charity. None of us can really state exactly how well the lower-cost purchases did compared to the more expensive IAPs, but if it really was that much more successful, they would have prob included some in this season.

Reviving Sanc Spirits gave me a slap of nostalgia, can't wait to help moths on live getting the spirits that I got as a moth
And! Imagine Enchantment, Sanctuary, Prophecy and Dreams guides sad that they're alone and suddenly boom! Their fellow spirits come back like "did you really think we would leave you behind?"

There were 3 different IAP items apart from the Adventure Pass that had seasonal content. In total, they were really expensive. People didn't like it, some of them thought they should switch places with the ultimate gifts that look worse than the seasonal cosmetics. These in-app purchases contain a special scarf that acts as a cape, pants with sword, and a fox prop. I recall that The Prince's pants were also IAP, but I'm not entirely sure, so I need confirmation from another user on it.

• Seasonal Items should only require the AP. Not cost an extra $60.

• And IAPs in some other countries cost a LOT more money in their country due to conversion rates.

I assume the Scarf is $10 while the Outfit is $15 since sword outfit is also $15. Same price as a cape. Honestly I think hair/masks/hats should be $5, Capes and outfits should be $10, and props that have functionality like the lantern should be $15, but that’s my opinion. Either way, I’m someone who buys IAPs and I’m passing on Rainbow Event and if this continues I might pass on these too. We have to buy everything twice and just can’t afford them. I’m also not keen on spending money on Seasonal items beyond the AP. They could just make AP a bit more expensive and include the IAPs in the Season, but who knows. There is still time for things to change so I’m just gonna sit back and wait.

However, that scarf is a great deal compared to the 999 heart and 99 AC invisible cape.

Yesterday I didn’t checked if the design of the help function changed or not and it caught me by surprise when i saw a ? Icon in the new area flying across the map . I’m really glad tho that we get a message now telling us if we have all the spirits on the map or not. That part was the most confusing one for me when it came out first, not knowing why others are not helping me/ not seeing my icon.

Well, sword “fighting” isn’t really a violent act and it’s often used as exercise + practice. Much like karate training. I personally don’t see anything violent about the sword on its own. You can test what you can. Spirits still work. Cosmetics still work. The changes in Eden... I guess work, but annoyingly slow. Seasonal candles work (except that one that had incorrect Z placement). Just because the quest is bugged doesn't mean the game is untestable.

Dropping the update on Friday however means that theres 3 extra days of testing-even if the first quest is bugged, there are also many other aspects of the season that can be tested as well as normal gameplay like the eden changes, crash reports, friendship interactions, etc. With the season coming soon in live every day is vital.

It is only three days to wait for potential updates, and only one day more than normal. It just seems like people are mad about bugs because they don’t like the IAP prices. When have we ever been upset at bugs in the first build of a season? When have we ever demanded they fix a bug immediately at the start of a beta season? Just seems a little misdirected is all.

There are fewer bugs than I’ve seen in previous builds and I am actually very impressed with the first-tier emote spirits and a new season being pushed in one build. This is what beta is for anyway. Finding bugs to help the dev team identify what needs fixing.

Honestly even flying around and doing those spirits is really helpful! For example, you can check to see if the area causes any lags or crashes, if theres strange geometry, floating objects, holes in the ground, places where people can get stuck, and also making sure those spirits work! In lightseekers testing, I remember shush spirit would end with them floating way out in the middle of space for example that was a pain.

Anyways the point is, people are still helping loads even if the quests after the first quest are impossible at the moment.

Honestly I think it was better they released it before the holiday and let us pick through it for three days before they got back. I never experienced lag since last update in live and a few previous updates in beta but I am not sure since which update it started on beta. And it is really weird cuz I never experience lag in any game and I play games that are heavier than sky

• Those items should be ultimate gifts
• There is only Little Prince's hair as ultimate gift and all clothes being IAP makes people upset about not being able to look like Little Prince
• The prices are way to expensive specially for ppl that have other currencies that are not dollar (for an exemple, all IAP + adventure pass costs 1 month worth in food for me)
• TGC is bringing too many events that are "payed" at once
• There shouldn't be IAP during a season
• Putting some items to be bought separately feels like we are needing to pay more for a whole season

Seasonal candles in bete: it's possible to make 25 a day to my recollection. This is because the season is shorter in beta for testing purposes, so we are given the chance to make candles faster with 8 candles (to make 4 per realm, as you only need wax from 2 to make a candle in beta, rather than the 4 of live) permanently in every realm, plus the 4 daily quests, and the candle from the adventure pass

I will just list the opinions against the IAP:

• Those items should be ultimate gifts
• There is only Little Prince's hair as ultimate gift and all clothes being IAP makes people upset about not being able to look like Little Prince
• The prices are way to expensive specially for ppl that have other currencies that are not dollar (for an exemple, all IAP + adventure pass costs 1 month worth in food for me)
• TGC is bringing too many events that are "payed" at once
• There shouldn't be IAP during a season
• Putting some items to be bought separately feels like we are needing to pay more for a whole season

Developing sky must be hard on TGC's end ever since they are working remotely. I noticed that content during enchantment and prior to it has lesser bugs ending up in the live game compared to now. They are trying their best tbf.. it's only I don't agree on their harsh pricing of IAPs
