We also have to take turns to share our spaces, so currently someone else is sharing their space, the meditation statue is a timer, so that ressembles how long a player can share their space before it moves on to share another player's space

you probably went out of your space on the sitting thing. there is a button to leave your space and it might make you change servers and then your stuff would disappear. or maybe your game bugged and you were put in a different server by force? also going away too far closes you out of the shared space thing so maybe that's why?

I think the idea is to incentivize candle running (a “mundane” and “boring” task) in order to find bugs. Many of the bugs don’t pop up with some of the newer features but with the base game itself

We also get a huge amount of candles after a season that convert over that can add to the candle number

Clearing app data is only something available on Android, on iOS the only option is to offload the app which specifically keeps your app data, so you would need to reinstall like I said before

It's located at The Treehouse, and you can only do the "Shared Space" feature after completing 6th Assembly Quest. Basically, it's kinda like your own space, you can place props that you currently own and you can share it to your friends

Edit: just like Puffers said, it's best to experience it firsthand 😀

its probably easier to try it out and explore it yourself, check out the assembly treehouse. Shared space is only unlock after we completed all of the assembly quests. And tldr is basically a space u can decorate and share it with people in the server

Make sure to tell them what you like and what you dislike in those changes in #beta-feedback In the end, it’s their game, and they are the ones who make the final choices based on what they think is suitable, so there’s not much more we can do other than telling them how we feel about it all, so that they can perhaps reconsider some things. I do feel a bit overwhelmed by the amount of changes they’ve been making recently though, tbh 🤧

Most people have gotten attached to the live version of the game though, not the beta version... it’s hard to not get attached to a game and still expect someone to care about game components
Emotional attachment is in my opinion what makes people come back and play the game over and over again
I personally am okay with most of the new changes, except for how isle’s caves basically got ruined now with the new cutscenes
I used to fly through the caves, now I have to fly over the caves and the cave murals add 4 new to skip cutscenes

Not necessarily, I think any reaction towards the changes would be correlated with how directly and how much they impact your current gameplay style.
If they removed the ability to hold hands, then I’m sure all players would be angry 😡, but if they removed some random candle in a realm, no one would notice or care.
I think it’s the same for these changes, for some people some of the changes have a big difference, for others it doesn’t really affect them
Generally the most vocal will be those of us who are affected directly by the changes

System changes for me, are usually harder to accept, because i’m used to the ‘old’ system and I know it and optimalized it for my needs already. New systems are always require plus energy to learn and get used to. Visual changes and functionality changes are easier. But its also worth to mention that we usually get these changes in a way bigger dose and way more frequently here, compared to live, simply because testing them is the purpose of the beta.

I agree with this one, I feel most recent changes to the game have been TGC giving players a defined route to follow with sky, they have a way they want people to play the game and they are enforcing it.
Which is not always a bad thing... but it’s also not always a good thing. Forced interaction with the quests, forcing afk timer to force people to be active, all of these things.... I’m not sure, but they do make the game more constrained
I miss the freedom to explore it as we pleased...
but either way as an old player, I mostly ever hang around daylight and new seasonal areas, so changes to most areas don’t really affect me much
But I do wonder how newer players will receive these changes

I like the eden visual changes too, they really polished a lot of things there, added a bunch of details. I liked the style of the old castle better, it was more elegant with the stone arch bridges, but i like how the new one makes a star shape with the side, middle and bottom pieces. Due to Sony publishing Journey for TGC, they have to go through a licensing agreement to put it in any of their other non-Sony published games. I.E. highly unlikely to come to Sky.

That’s the biggest thing that peeves me in the update tbh. I have to scroll to find the bow emote every time I light someone up. I think they should put bow & wave at the very top if they’re not gonna make recent emotes a thing

Make sure there aren’t any other icons in the right bottom corner, just blank space, then tap it and the camera icon should appear as normal. If it still doesn’t, maybe it is device specific indeed

Before update, when I tried to take a picture during emotes, I sometimes pressed a different emotes button.
Still, I managed to take a picture at that time

However,I can see the camera mark now, but it seems that it is covered with a thin gray film and does not react.

If it's not a Samsung or LG phone, you need to do some ADB magic to have screen recording on Android 10. Android 11 came with screen recording enabled by default.

A day after requested here…but so be it:
Feedback shared spaces : I like the idea of having a shared space that I can hang out with some friend for conversations. The ability to decorate a spot is awesome and could be a fun socially engaging enhanement. Love the concept, but not in it’s current form. For me, it would be a non-starter to have this only available in a single location that everyone goes to, and where I might get 5 minutes of reserved time before my arrangement gets swapped out with another players arrangements. There are special areas in the sky world where I have taken friends to talk. I would love the ability to take my shared space with me, and place it anywhere I like, just as easily as one drops a table wherever they like. I could create my shared space arrangement and then would love to be able to place it in any realm, OOB, eden, home, etc..
