It has been said it would be highly unlikely for Switch beta to continue after Live launches for Switch. This is most likely due to how Nintendo handles Beta testing for their platforms. Most apps don't have an Active beta for their live services on the Switch due to... Nintendo

Switch Beta is stored on the beta servers. Those testers will not be able to transfer that sky ID to live when it launches. If they want access to their skykid after the Switch beta phase ends, they'd need to be in the mobile beta.

They were a huge influence on the game we all know and love today, and TGC wanted to give them a special “thank you” for all the time and effort they put into helping us create Sky. generally, beta testers should be getting in through invite waves, as that ensures that they'll be in the discord channel to report bugs. but there will be a few beta moths that find the beta on their own. i've met a few players who downloaded the beta not knowing that it wasn't the live app

In most cases, when you boot up beta for the first time (on iOS) it will auto-log you into gamecenter. Not always tho, so it's always good to check, but that means that 90% of the time your account will be linked without you doing anything

No high def mode is not native res. It's upscaled. Screenshot quality should make a single frame at native res and some other graphics options boosted since the game doesn't need to render 30 or 60 frames a second when taking the screenshot.

I really like the length of the trail spells. Though I don't understand how they choose which trail spell for how long. My understanding is that the rainbow trail is 3 hours (180 minutes) and the solid trails are 1 hour (60 minutes). I just bought a couple more trails and I got a teal trail and it lasts for 2 hours (120 minutes). I wonder if the solid trails will all be 2 hours instead of 1 when it goes to live? Or is it possible the time lengths will be random?

A little off topic, I just realized that emotes now change levels faster. Personally I like it because pressing a little the emote is already level 2, then it changes a little slower until it reaches the last level. I like that its faster to use levels 2 and 4. But it is true that it is difficult when it is a 6 level emote. Level 4 becomes more difficult to use then

e.g (when you spam faint, in live you get stuck on the ground, in beta, it repeats the start of the emote)

Normally if you keep spamming an emote it cycles trough its levels, but now it keeps repeating lvl1
I like to hold wave until it reaches lvl6 and then spam it a few times
you can get about 4x lvl6 in one go like that, extra ✨✨✨✨!!
But that doesn’t work anymore in beta :/
