Native Res means the game engine will request rendering the screen resolution. Right now, we have "boosted def mode" which means the game is rendering lower than the resolution of your screen. Like my phone is a 1080p panel and the game renders lower than that, like 720p or 480p. Edit: iOS devices have an option for native res mode, but Android doesn't. Possibly due to all the Android devices with 4k and 8k panels, which is useless on a small screen

The Devs didn’t purposely fix it. It got fixed with the UI updates just like Setting Home Trick. Devs have had a work around to our Home Trick already, you don’t need to look any farther than Eden Krill which still steal your energy when you use home trick. They just left it alone outside of Eden. Which kinda already proves they didn’t care to fix it.

you shouldn't need to turn off your switch entirely to do that, just don't try to open the game on both devices at the same time (you'll get a server error if you try that on two different mobile devices)

Late reply but only iPad pros and the latest iPad airs have native res mode, all other iOS devices have high def mods, if the device is strong enough for it

Hmm, well, to be fair to the AFK system as it stands at the moment.

• It takes 10 whole minutes for you to stop collecting light.
• It resets every time you transition into a new area and honestly you shouldn’t need longer than ten minutes in any single area of a realm.

The negative about the AFK system is it is kind of useless. Once you get a grey candle after doing your full CRs or if you sit by an event thing like tree or geyser until it greys out than you could only get about 1-2 more candles out of it anyways so really what is the point beyond trying to encourage people to CR or be social? It doesn’t effect me any tho so...those are just my thoughts.

They have the data to back up their claim. Each ball of wax collected has a specific hash associated with it, so they know where most people CR or don't (Tree incident). So misinformed might be incorrect.

Honestly, I've always thought ubering (between actual friends) was one of the most social aspects of Sky

Most talking and socializing I do.... Happens when I'm tagging along on an uber CR bus
Not to mention, between friends, there's a lot of trust that goes into letting your friend do one realm, and then you do another

This game likes to call itself a community game, but there isn't anything about the gameplay that actually adds to interacting with other players (besides unintentionals like rocket and bike)
The only major thing that you really rely on each other for, gameplay wise, is holding hands

I dont think we should be taking away from the gameplay we already have in order to build community

Instead we should be adding abilities that allow us all to boost each other up as an active team to improve playing the game together

If the afk rule is only for the tree, then make it so that the afk rule only applies to home. Easy fix.
The average Skykid doesn't spend their life in social space
They spend it actually going out and playing the game
So we need more utilities that actually encourage playing together

Handholding is the only legitimate example of this

The other examples would be unintentional things that are hilariously now part of the gameplay loop! like rocket and spiral!

You're meant to be able to move through most of the game without needing to interact with anyone, which is what makes the choice of choosing to stop and help someone more special.

The UI looks pretty much the same to me, size wise, playing on an iPhone X, it was shocking to see how different it was for other devices in #beta-screenshots-videos It makes me wonder if the weird spacing for some devices wasn't intentional. I believe the official Switch FAQ do say you can use different Sky accounts on a single Switch. But each of those Sky accounts need to be individually tied to a unique Nintendo account (so using multiple profiles on the Switch will not work, but using separate Nintendo accounts will). This how I wrote it

Through normal gameplay a player can access around 15 candles daily in average.
Every 2 weeks we have a ts that costs in average 120 candles. Given that the event most likely will be active during a traveling spirits visit it would be very stressful for players to grind for the cosmetics with most current price. All tho I understand that they aren't something to be easily accessible for everyone I really think the prices should be reduced a little bit. For example 120 for the cape and 15 for the earring

Geyser is worth so little light it’s almost not even worth going. Actually it isn’t. 45 minutes spent at geyser only to get 2 candle cakes worth of light when I could have just run Water Trial in less than 10 minutes. =_= I will also add I was max chevrons all 3 visits to the geyser and it also worked pretty normally as far as functionality.

i see geyser as an extra source of wax after you collected the wax of most places
i mostly time it so when i go to sanctuary i go to the geyser at the same time
but its also been buggy recently so some wax may have been missed

Once I finish getting wax and haven’t even gotten grey candle yet I get literally nothing from geyser. Not a single fraction of light on my candle. It’s literally useless after you have no chevrons.

I think that's the point of this system. Seems 15 is the goal for daily candles and anything more than that is a waste of time. I wouldn't know as I never even get near 15 candles on either live or beta CRs.

Like I went when I had a tiny nic left at the top of my candle hoping I could skip trials and it didn’t even move as I completed geyser event.

Problem being that if I want to maintain buying out TS AND get the Rainbow Cape I HAVE to get 20 candles every day. Which I have done the past 3 days.

If they wanted us to only go for 15 then they need to start rethinking their prices for TS or events.

I think the new system and events are trying to discourage that behaviour of "I need everything." Honestly, if the TS doesn't have something I want, I'll not purchase it. Last 4 TS in live, all I got was blessings, emotes and the wing buff. (Unless it was a TS from a season I participated in, then just Wing buff)

Never rely on tricks or glitches to gain an unfair advantage, they may get patched out with other feature changes. Last UI update inadvertently fixed main menu home glitch. It was only a matter of time other UI updates would fix emote menu home glitch... Most likely the shop menu one will be fixed when they update that UI element.
