Blue, judging from this update there are a few updates to controller usage, but camera and instruments...hm, I don't know. You open the emote menu with X, I presume, because it's triangle on PS4 controller.

You need to connect your Nintendo account from inside your iOS/Android account, in order to be able to buy stuff and have it transfer from the Switch. I am unsure how/if that would work for other people's accounts.

I think the nintendo pack will just be available for purchase once per account.. but you could make another user profile on the switch then use another nintendo account. That would seem to be feasible

It’s confusing because it’s not consistent. Sometimes the winged light goes way above the player or just beside them, both of which are more consistent with Sky’s mechanics (ie you can still get it if you’re fast enough). The worst is when it goes to the 3rd dimension and you can’t get it back. 😂 So I’m also thinking that while losing light might be intentional, being unable to get it back in the same level (behind the camera lmao) might not be.

@primal pagoda i have an alt account on my switch along with my younger brother's account. i think it's just that the primary profile can make more changes to the switch itself, like an admin user! they have the power to remove/add accounts iirc.

I suspect the question pops up every now and then because of the beta cape. Perhaps because people don't quite understand why that was given, or perhaps because they expect there to be some sort of reward for taking part in beta. Some games do give that, but then it's usually because the beta is actually early access, which then turns into the real game.

Cosmetics in beta are subjected to progress wipe. Which means tgc can wipe all you progress in beta anyday and IAP items will be gone too. It happened once before. It can happen anytime in the future too.

@spark lance There hasn't been any progress wipe in beta, so you should still have your items. But yes, if you didn't link it and then joined again after being away from the programme, you will lose your progress.

@trim lake if you start your game and your friend is at Home, there's a chance the game will put you together! Restarting a few times has worked for me and a few friends while the constellation is bugged

The Switch is capable of 60FPS, but, it's up to TGC if they want to enable it or not, so far 60FPS makes even the most recent devices work quite hard. I would guess that's one thing to test: How does 60FPS (or even max graphics) Sky affect your Switch, how hot does it get etc. Stuff like that
I do hope it will support 60FPS though, i've come to love playing with it on my iPad especially

I don't know if the app will have a "license check" to test this, but usually, a second or third user needs to have the eShop license also, but in theory, every user on your switch would have their own save/profile for Sky.

If the license check is turned off, you will be able to do that. The license check pretty much checks the eShop to ensure the Nintendo account linked to that user has authorization to use that app. A good example is all other users but the one tied to my Nintendo account can't play Sword or Shield on my switch due to the expansion pass. They fail the license check, even though I have the physical cart for the OG version of the game.

Switch save files don't really work that way. So one account per user. You would need to make a second user for a second account on that device, then the license thing comes into play. Hopefully that makes sense.

Only if they use your account. Otherwise like getting Nintendo switch online. Only the account who signs into the beta will be able to use it. Other accounts will need a different beta access code thingy.
