I feel like this is obvious but this season feels very prop centred especially considering the items currently available for the free season players.

As long as it's in beta, it's subject to change. For now, our job(s) is to test whatever the devs send us. When it's finalized and polished in live, I'm sure there will be lots of people who will be kind enough to generate an up to date chart.

I find that so generous of TGC. In a way, those props are kinda like non-AP ultimate gifts... and everyone can get them, even after the season!

I believe we received multiple updates in a span of a few days. Small small patches with different additons/ changes. That must be why your app is asking you to update again...

This was especially problematic for me when I was still new in beta. I was used to hotfixes and patch updates in live which are usually weeks apart. Meanwhile in beta, you get an update ping while you sleep, and then another when you wake up ahh such is the life of the beta tester. Now I look forward to #beta-announcements turning white and am always on the lookout for new stuff to try and test

When we joined beta, we know what we signed up for. TGC doesn't compensate anything lost in beta because we are not there to collect items anyway. (We also don't pay for anything. All IAP's are free, and we get exclusive and early access to everything, which I believe is already a bonus in itself)

TGC could also wipe away all access and progress at anytime. My suggestion is not get too attached to your beta. It exists for testing only and is not meant to be an alternative game to play.

Welcome to beta. Best thing to do is go on runs with friends to burn big plants or pray for a merge to a server where they are preburnt.

Wearing chibi mask does not influence your chances or becoming smaller when using a resize potion. Neither does having a chibi friend near you when using a resize potion. Same for Shrink and Tiny spells.

This also applies to the inverse desire with Grow and Huge spells.

TL;DR
the use of cosmetics, spells/potions/scrolls, the presence of other players and so on has no bearing on what height you will get when using a Resize Potion. There are over 4000 heights in Sky and the results of the potion are entirely random. You have a 50/50 chance of being shorter or taller than you were before.

I wish I knew where these rumors start so they could be quashed into oblivion.

The "4000" heights just means your height is defined by a number that can technically have one of 4000 values. The difference between a height of 1000 and 1001 is literally impossible to notice by human eye. Taking the average size of a phone screen in mind this difference would be some micrometers in length.

Chocolate is made out of the cacao bean, but there is something called compound chocolate which isn’t made from the cacao bean, which means it’s fake chocolate, so there is white compound chocolate that’s fake but that doesn’t mean all white chocolate is fake.

To all the android testers unable to download the game, I have bad news. I've been writing E-Mails back and forth with google's support for a few days, and they eventually decided to send my e-mails to sb who did not just send standard answers, so I think I had contact with someone who actually looked into the case. That person sent me a message basically saying that all available testing spaces for download were filled, so even if I had joined the program I would not be able to download unless TGC gave more places for downloads. I don't know what happened, I doubt TGC is actually at the cause, but think you other testers should know.
Edit: I did join via the link. Might be misunderstandable from my text before.

this is explained in #beta-faq that unless you're able to download/update, you're not in the beta even though the UI says you are (which a bit of a failing on google's part by indicating the test group is at max capacity when it hits 95% full).

most folks stuck in limbo are able to update after 12-24 hours, but any longer means you'll need to wait for slots to open up again.

I’ve completed the entire season (I’m at 99% as I have not yet collected the tier 4 ultimate) but I don’t have the hearts to purchase the tier 4 ult.

Basically, all the spirits are completely bought out (hearts included) but I need 2 more to get the final ultimate

Yeah, only way you could have before the 4 ult update was if you bought the bugle from the spirit instead of QG and didn't get the cape, yet. I only had pot helm and got just enough hearts for the cape before the update, but glad I waited to buy the cape until the update. It might feel unfair, but that is the nature of Beta. Things change and no compensation would be given if you miss out on something. At least you still can get it in live.

What complaints about AFK update? I think the animation is adorable, it’s super cute to see my friend “sleeping” while I’m dragging them around the realms.

Or about old AFK issue? Because I’m not lazy and I also complained. Reason, because I play on controller so it was constantly making me tap screen every two minutes to get my wax despite me actively running my CRs. That’s super annoying and can easily be overlooked. I could miss wax even though I wasn’t AFK, how is that fair to me?

So we do know that the last time Beta invites got sent out (prior to this current wave that happened in late March) was the 1st of December in 2020, and when that wave was noted to be full they said that "There will be no more invite waves for this test cycle. It will be a few MONTHS before more invites go out. "

Fastforward to a few days ago on the 23rd of March and, when that wave of invites ended, it was said that "There will be no more invite waves for this test cycle. Reminder that invites waves are on an as needed basis. Please visit #beta-faq for details."

So we know that the gap between the second most recent invite wave and the current most recent invite wave was around three to four months and additionally that there aren't going to be any more invites for this "test cycle" (barring anything unexpected). We also know that invites are now on an "as needed basis" now which could make them more sporadic than a concrete three-to-four months gap. So it's hard to say. Best guess is that it won't happen too soon, but probably would happen within half a year, and likely within three to four months (i.e. that'd be around the test time for whatever the season after Season of Assembly is).

TL;DR: Current cycle isn't expecting any more invites, maybe three to four months before the next one based on precedent but it could take any length of time, really, now that the invites are on an "as needed" basis.

This is all just me guessing so if anyone's got a different perspective feel free to chime in.

Violin isn't a thing. Some folks might be mistaking the bug where you could press down certain buttons on a music sheet and it would act like a held note for a violin.

animation may be one challenge, there are other considerations the team wants to make first when it comes to playing music in-game as well, but I can't go into too many details.

OC = orginal character. a fictional character you make up to exist in a popular fictional universe.

This is a common thing in beta especially when season is close to release or they have new things and fixes to test. Android has delta updates enabled tho it was 17,2 MB for me this morning.

We as players become attached, and especially because we spend our real life hard earned money on something hoping it will be consistent. This cape, the other cape they kept, and the hair all had me sold on this season in terms of cosmetics.
Then they changed the cape and just....got rid of the old one entirely, wasting potential to just give it to another spirit so there's three possible capes to obtain.
