There are always changes and new things being tested in beta. That's why it's not always a good thing that people share on social media, because it can create a "panic", like we saw with the afk thing.

I joined last beta invite on android, and didn't get the abillity to download the app yet. So, lacking patience to just wait, I tried to contact google's customer support, and they told me to contact TGC. Does anyone know whether this is just Google not wanting to support or whether it could actually help to contact TGC (if I understood the google support correctly, the explanation was that there were not enough spaces available for the app. But I don't want to send useless questions to them, as I still think it's google's problem...)?

some people entered in prophecy beta for example, new invites came and some never even got to download beta for prophecy

after that, it's absolutely google's matter if it takes a while to download it
so be patient, if you are a beta tester, one day google will open for you to download
it's just like that, it works for some and not for others, so patience

This is a late reply but this has changed! Only inactive iOS testers get kicked out now, so as long as you are actively testing you have nothing to worry about
Invite waves are also no longer tied to seasons and can happen at any time if they need more active testers

I’m new to beta, but just tried to submit my first bug reports and had them time out twice. Is there a faster way to submit reports? I only had one screenshot to attach the second time, but it timed out while compressing the file.

Ktjin, I think what might work is if instead of the seasonal logo, each backpack had the logo of the prop itself... the backpack can stay but the logo should change that way we know what prop we have equipped

They do fit, but I'd prefer it for just one item like tent perhaps. Its still cool to carry a woodtorch, hammock, a big jar etc on the back

Each prop item allows players to express differently and gives different Vibe for players, and that fits the whole theme of sky

I guess for that, TGC would just ask for new testers and make an announcement regarding what they wanted to be mainly tested. Right? Kind of like what happened a few days ago, there were most likely updates regarding the cutscenes in the season later on, but since we did them in a week we were not able to redo them.

But I agree with your point though, and it's totally okay if they wipe the progress anytime, since we are just testing, and most likely everything which we've been testing, will be implemented into Live anyways, so it's not much to worry about. Our job as testers is to make sure everything is okay and to catch any weird bugs so Live users don't have issues.

It's also stated in the FAQ that they can reset us anytime.

The season has 4 entrances all leading to opposite directions. And it connects the very beginning of the forest to it's end.

It should have a very long tunnel systems which we don't get to see...

iirc, the reason why home space doesn't have chat benches is because a new player could have a bad first experience with another player. that's why prairie is the first place where you can find chat benches. however, i would like more to do at home too.

The devs read every bit of what get sent into the wishlist channel, so it’s not being ignored just because no one replies to it, but feedback channels are more for what’s currently happening than it is of what you want to see in the future

don’t just be plain negative, explain why you don’t like it and include what could potentially improve it

I've read that we shouldn't be suggesting a solution to an issue we're writing a feedback about and we should concentrate on how we feel using things playing

So something unconstructive like, "you guys are stupid for making rhythm ultimate gift a hairstyle" was something we saw a lot a year ago.

a constructive interpretation of that might look like:

"I don't feel a hairstyle is impressive enough to be considered an ultimate item because my expectation of an ultimate gift was developed by the two seasons before Rhythm (belonging and lightseekers) where the ultimate gift item was a prop item with an important function so having something like an outfit item feels less impressive"

I guess there are more places that can talk about this better (working on giving constructive feedback is a skill) but here are some things I’ve seen elsewhere and picked up from classes

• "Criticise ideas and not people". So when you are talking about some aspect of the creative work that you might not like, you can try to elaborate and be specific about what part, in the work, might not be working well for you, while avoiding making any attacks on the person who made it.

• Try to be aware that you are offering suggestions, and the creator still retains the right to choose whether or not to implement it. So that includes avoiding putting a request that something "should be done this way", for example
