Is it just me or are the seasonal cosmetics becoming less detailed. For example the days of bloom hair has a lot of detail, the flowers almost look real - the flower crown in season of assembly, although is better than it originally was, it still doesn’t really resemble flowers when you look closely, it’s just coloured triangles and circles. This is just my observation, but to me it feels like seasonal items are somewhat rushed, and because you only pay a small amount for so many cosmetics the developers aren’t putting as much time into the designs of the seasonal items.

again, what we have in beta isn't a very accurate reflection of what the season looks like in the dev builds which we have no access to - you seem to be bracing for a catastrophe yet worrying won't make the live release any better, being active in beta will. Still resembled a flower somewhat, and the proceeds were donated to charity so slightly different. I guess I am just noticing a pattern that the cosmetics that are high in value, whether that be IGC or IAP have more detail and seemingly more time put into their design. Time costs money at the end of the day, so it does make sense to me.

try cancelling the download and restart it. sometimes that fixes the loading issue! if you have your ID saved you can also do a complete uninstall and reinstall

No compensation. Beta is for testing and finding bugs. It's not a substitute for the full Live version of the game. As such, we generally do not offer compensation when players encounter bugs, even if they affect currencies or other important account features.

If you didn't like the negative result, then you should quit Beta. Complaining won't help anything.

I’d just give a general advice for everyone to be a bit kinder. Yeah, we shouldn’t feel entitled to our things in beta but it happens. We love this game and we get attached and have strong feelings, and it’s sucks sometimes when things aren’t what we wanted. It’s okay to remind others this is how beta is like, but please show them some empathy as well

Wax is what makes the Chevrons deplete. Not making the candles themselves.
So no, you wouldn't keep your boost throughout the whole candle run.

There is a dev build which is different from beta and I think they just enable and disable assets as they need to for testing purposes. Alphas are more on the basic functionality of the game rather than the aesthetics or stuff in beta, which is mostly for mass collecting of information whether players would find a function easy to comprehend, or simply if they like what is introduced. Smt like that. So TLDR not the best build you would want to use even if you have access to.

A hint for the quests: once you get the quest from the quest giver in the main treehouse, the next one will be at the designated treehouse for the quest. I.E. the second one will be in or directly outside the brook's treehouse as said by the quest text. Hope that helps.

I'm not really sure at which point that symbol goes away. certainly isn't time based since I had shepherd in under 24 hours from starting beta.

I only report moths that have items they shouldn't have as a "new player" like previous ultimates, like the Rhythm hair, manta cape, ult hairs from elders, etc. (You would lost moth status way before completing a constellation or season)

I waited over 20 minutes after finally finding the treehouse at the brook (bc the cutscene wouldn’t play when I entered the area) for someone to show up and right before we got to the first staff thing to collect, the server split. I’m so frustrated and annoyed. There’s absolutely no reason that the server should’ve split when there was only 2 people in an area.

It would be good feedback. Just please keep in mind #beta-feedback is read by real people and still have to abide by the server's chat rules. hopefully they can find a way to prevent that either client or server side

(Part 1)
My first theory was (not counting the judging on appearance as theory) that those scouts are the Elders’ inner children.

Facepalm is Isle, they seem very... not happy but not terribly depressed either, well, the other theories are better.
March is Prairie’s inner child, despite having a few bruises and wounds here and there they didn’t lose their joy and courage.
Scold is Forest, they have a short temper but it’s actually because they care, they’re easily offended if one questions their beliefs.
Scaredy Cadet is Valley, they’re scared and hurt, they need much protection despite not wanting to admit it. They’ll be happier once they found their safe home.
Chuckle is Wasteland, they are very well taken care of and even if they’re not constantly happy, they rarely ever really lose their happiness.
Daydream is Vault, they try to escape into their dreams because they’ve seen how cruel and dark this world can be. This might’ve even spiraled into maladaptive daydreaming but that’s how they stayed healthy.

Another theory was that they represent the realms in the order of quests but that didn’t seem to fit.

The last theory (and one that makes the most sense) is one judged on their treehouses and cutscenes.
So Scold is Isle, they can’t seem to find the lantern right in front of their feet out of blindness or stupidity
Scaredy Cadet is Prairie, their treehouse has lots of those pots Prairie Elder stores butterflies in, my friend also pointed out that they might be scared of the smallest things because Daylight Prairie is a very safe place in which no one has to worry much, and therefore they might not be used to those small “dangers”.
March is Forest, they store lots of things to craft with in their treehouse and seem to be able to create things that are actually useful to some extent.
Facepalm is Valley, they tend to make mistakes that could be easily avoided with just some thinking, they notice other people’s mistakes more often than their own but they don’t learn from them. (*Maybe they do notice their own mistakes but they can’t admit them easily because it hurts their pride)
Chuckle is Wasteland, their and Daydream’s treehouse seems very safe and cozy.
Daydream is Vault, there’s some bottles stored in the shelves in their treehouse like the knowledge is stored in Vault of Knowledge, also they tend to daydream way too much which could indicate that they don’t like the bitter reality they’re in (daydreaming would be a coping mechanism).

It's not the first time in beta that things get changed in the constellations. We are here for test these changes, and there are thousands of testers out there to try it out even if you cant. its sad but they were pretty clear about no compensation from the beginning.

No compensation. Beta is for testing and finding bugs. It's not a substitute for the full Live version of the game. As such, we generally do not offer compensation when players encounter bugs, even if they affect currencies or other important account features.

I would hardly call unforeseen anomalies anyone's mistake. It is a very large unfinished season that we are helping progress. It is raw and changing.
Also, shifting, adding and changing things to finalize a season as a proper enjoyable experience is not the same as a mistake.

What do you all suggest is the best thing to be testing in sky? Should i redo spirits and activities over n over?

Play as you normally would, look for things that aren't working right.
Make a note of anything not working how you think it should in the season, or if there is something that you find cumbersome or hard to figure out.
Pay attention to cosmetic problems, like clipping, color irregularities.
File reports in bugs and give feedback in the appropriate channels.
Revisit elements after updates to see if they have changed. Pay attention to things not addressed in update/patch notes. Was it missed? Is it a know issue? Did they resolve it and just not mention it?

Trying what the update notes said is usually a good start. But playing normally can reveal tons of things too. (Experience )

Sorry, but no Ult mask for you. But you can get it in Live, so don't beat yourself up about it!

2. You Couldn't purchase the Ult cape

It is what it is. Yes, the cape is coming back. Yes, groups 2 & 3 will be able to get it and the mask.

Stated by Ktjn, many items like Bookshelf and Spotlight (that's what most people have called it so far) are still being worked on. The Dev Team does have a plan for it, and are working to put that plan into the game. Just sit tight!
