They are part of the daily light system. And not just seasonal or for events. Also those locations or visuals are prone to change too as the DL system is still under testing and balancing.

With the new candle system, how many candles can be collected for farming all 6 realms?

people have been getting varied results, but its generally much lower than the amount of candles you'd get in live.
its still going through adjustments so that it should be around 18 ~ 19 candles just like live, but if you're a beta tester i'd suggest trying to do a full CR if you have the time to. might be worth reporting on the amount you get so there's more data to draw conclusions from

Yeah. We have all these things like tree shrooms, torches and tents at the tree house now, that are all very hygge (cozy) and give ambiance. I guess aside from bringing the place to life, these things dealing with pretty harsh rain is just a by product?

Edit: I'm not thinking in the length of time that it will take to restore the treehouse in Live. It does makes sense but it is funny.

I guess it makes sense that they wouldn't want the canopy or bookshelf to protect against krills. they did say that they didn't want to make any AP-locked or limited items that would impact actual gameplay too much, to keep it fair to those who can't get it. the bookshelf gets nerfed

probably a price change first. there are never any guarantees for completing the season. gratitude, lightseekers, and rhythm were not able to be completed in beta.

recently (on live) i had some instances of a bug where my friends appeared as strangers even though neither of us blocked each other, but we could still do friendship tree stuff. and after a while it went back to normal. maybe that happened to you? or maybe you accidentally blocked this friend or vice versa

Last I checked you need to get the angle nearly perfect, sometimes sit/lie down and the table must be solid for you if you're trying to hide under it.

But that capability seems too good to be true, and the item will then have to be the ultimate gift! If you know what I mean..

I just finished the last questgiver quest and was really hoping it would stop raining in the treehouse area. Real bummer if it just rains there all the time, a complete turn off.

Prolly because the treehouse area is too dark and gloomy. Perhaps we can ask for it to be look more Sunny? Like the sunny indoor forest.
Additionally, why would scouts choose to setup camp in a scary and wet place with neverending rain?

The final cutscene should fix that, and the area should become sunny, green and lush. Perfect for running around, etc. etc

It’s like a fun place now destroyed by time... the destroyed bone fire in the entrance, tree with a lot of holes because is dead and all the empty hammock... it feels like an area where people lived there and died letting all be ruined by rain and time... nothing left there, only sadness of a past joy...

Maybe with sun, murals in which you can see what they did there or a splash of colors like ark with colorful items will be better

I went to eden because i wanted to try something and i restarted my game. When i was home nobody could join me and no merges happened either. I was wondering if that’s intentional or not if someone crashes etc. we usually all close our games and try to merge at home and go back together but this way its pretty much impossible

the wax wasn't dropping
the wax was dropping but no one noticed which can feel just as bad as if no wax dropped at all
Please keep in mind the amount of wax is fairly small so people can't afk 24/7 and abuse the system, but it should still be noticeable when it does appear.

we haven't had any issues in dev environments (it uses a completely different system than the dragon did, for example) with 100% success rate, but we know what to look for, how often, and how much. so it might be a perception thing.

and the wax isn't the same color as what you collect from CRing, so that's a contributing factor.

I love just about everything in this season so far, but unfortunately I have some concerns I'd like to clarify.
I feel that the ultimate gifts are a little underwhelming. I like the cape alot, but I think it would be much better if it was the mask, swap hair with the Scaredy Cadet, and the cape already there. All would be 2 seasonal hearts each since there are 6 spirits.
As for the seasonal guide tasks, all of them are great up until the last one. I don't necessarily understand what use the rings at the treehouse would be for me personally.
Now the props. I like and understand all of them aside from the bookshelf and hoop. I don't see what purpose a random bookshelf would be for me in a realm. I also think that the tent should be a protection from Krill, because up to now, there has been no implemented way (aside from a glitch) to avoid Krill attacks other than trying (and failing) to play hide and seek with them.

If you missed a turn you got flushed down to wasteland with the tornado replica next to the wax. I guess part of it is nostalgia the other part is i enjoy doing flying tricks without stopping.

I did the quest for the hammock with a friend. We and 4 others completed it and then returned to the elder in the big tree house. We were the last to arrive. We saw the others getting their reward but the elder vanished before we could land on the platform and we never got anything. Now that spot in the constellation shows a circle with a line through it. Earlier I submitted a feedback about the area being not properly located. I wrote that when we enter we haven't triggered the rain yet. But in the area it's already raining.... Um so I have a question that may be hard to answer. I was in beta back in 2019 before android got released live and even played for a bit on the live version. I had to take a super long break from sky to focus on school and recently got back into sky. I know I'm not in beta anymore and why, I have no problems there, but just wondered about the beta cape. I'm pretty sure there's no way to redem it now after so long but I kinda wanna know if it's possible? I really don't have a problem if I don't get it but just wondering

The current beta cape is available for purchase by talking to the NPC in the "Secret area". There also used to be another one, but that was only for players who played Sky prior to it's global launch.

the vast majority of localization is done by a third party service consisting of people who don't play Sky, so some game-specific nuance is sometimes lost in the translation process. if we don't have someone who speaks a language natively in the studio to proofread things, we have no way of knowing if something is "off" or could have been phrased better, which is where our polyglot players can help out in a big way. It would be lovely if we could do everything in-house but we're not a big enough studio with enough sustainable work at this time.

I’m totally convinced this season was inspired by Lightseekers, not only are the masks strikingly similar to the ones introduced back then, but the green cape is near-identical to the blue cape the Shushing Light Scholar had, what with the glowy yellow accents and similar design.

Now the questgiver has a mask that has the season emblem on it, and to top is completely unobtainable too, it really is like playing Lightseekers all over again
