Sky offers free to play players everything you need to progress in game plus more , the cosmetics don’t stop you progressing they are just extras for you to change your appearance ... the game is already free and free players get many free cosmetics ... it is right that tgc need money to keep the game going
and it is right that those who pay for the extras get kept happy by the way that stuff comes back being that you also have to pay .... old players and new players both farm equally and put in the same time ,

Agreed to this. I personally know a lot of people that just don't have the time to candle run every day to get those 160 candles needed for some TS. It's really exhausting at times. I think TGC is trying to divert Sky away from the grindy mood it has had recently, and rightfully so. Sky really wasn't meant as a grind game or P2W game. It's about adventure and friendship and stuff.
Just personal thoughts on the topic.

Razeacc had a great idea of giving the current season AP holders a discount of say- half the candles. So an umbrella would be 30 something candles for APs and 75 for F2Ps.

@amber dove it’s okay, I don’t mind the ping. You brought up very valid points. Yes the current non AP requiring items in the Karate TS are not really that cheap. It’s just a trick trying to deceive but not really working.

Some more points I have are -
F2P players grind for hours everyday just to get items that Pass holders and old players have been flaunting for way way longer.

2. F2P players grind candles for TS that they have no control over, don’t even know is worth all the time and effort.

3. Getting 18 regular candles is way waayyy more tiring than just doing easy quests for 3 days during a season and getting that seasonal cosmetic.

I think they should bring travelling spirits that haven’t come to live yet like golden wasteland gratitude spirit and rhythm valley or vault spirit to test. About the candles system, I think they should let some cosmetics to be able to get with candles, mainly capes and instruments at least. I have played live since gratitute and if a player is patient, they can get cosmetics eventually. There are lots of spirits and just wanting a cosmetic to be able to play, makes it pointless and greedy. And I think they should make a pack of ultimate rewards in which a player can choose the ultimate reward they want because lots of players who missed season of belonging want the campfire and I am sure who will miss prophesy will want the mask.

Now while its relatively quiet 15 minute slow mode could probably be lower but during the chaos of the day, during an invite wave or debate it edges on needing to be higher sometimes. To keep the complicated job of monitoring and helping answer questions in this chat as smooth as possible it will probably stay like this over the period of the invite waves, maybe drop down after a few days once they end, then probably jump up again when beta season starts before dropping down again once the hype clears up.

I get ap from friends (very grateful, thanks so much), but me and all my "AP" Friends cr like crazy, like every f2p player. So dont say that f2p Players have to grind, both sides have to.
Also the current system in beta is a benefit to AP Players but it's a heavy disadvantage to f2p Players since first of all half of the tree is inaccessible, they have to pay more Candles for just 1 item now (like 70 for the hat, instead of the 34 they had to earlier)
If they figure out a way to fix this, then It'll be perfect.

I think every player grinds in this game at some point, the reasons can be ts, buy things in ark, or even to complete the constelations, so grinding is being very commun in the game nowdays.

TGC wants to be less stressful by modyfing the TS mechanics and do what they're doing now, since all what old and new players just do in the game, is grinding, being candles, or seasonal candles.

I do not think you should need the current AP to buy items I feel as if this defeats the purpose of the traveling spirit as a whole. Traveling spirits exist to give people who could not afford the AP, missed the season, or couldn’t complete the constellation a chance to buy the items they missed. Needing the current AP locks away these players behind an unneeded paywall. Some people might not like the current seasons locked items but might like the TS items. Do you see the problem? The TS can be made affordable in my opinion without having to buy an AP. You could get rid of heart charges to have to continue up the tree but keep the items relatively pricey. Maybe what could help would be announcing the TS earlier, so people have a greater chance of being able to afford (though I do not know how announcing the TS works or how much time it takes to implement them into the game so that is something to think about. If it’s difficult I so apologize, perhaps we can think of something better.) This could solve the problem of having to grind daily, which can lead to burnout. As for the exclusivity for the items because I know it’s an issue: the ultimate gifts in their original forms are already exclusive items. As of right now it seems “exclusive AP items” outnumber the “normal items” which does not seem....very fair. Shouldn’t exclusive items be a small niche?
I know this is very long, and I’m about to go into shortcut void so I probably won’t be able to talk about my suggestion for...thirty minutes? Again I do apologize again and again if I came off harshly, I really appreciate you guys reading my wall of text I’ve been typing for five minutes

Sky is a very beautifull game, and when i first played it, i was really amazed at how good it was.
You can experience the whole thing without paying a buck for it, (and ad free!) wich is really a nice move.
Most games as polished as sky are not free.
Now, you can support the game in buying IAP, AP, and still, and if you can't or don't want to, you still get free stuff from seaons! And new content to experience.
With the current TS system, i don't know many (if any?) games that gives that much free stuff, just by farming, for a f2p game.
I'm ok with the new TS change.

Mind you, regular candle packs and seasonal candle packs are not available for "purchase". You can't stack up 5000 candles in 10 minutes. You still have to candle run to get them.

Only exceptions iirc are Starter pack and Founder pack, so you can get 135 candles to help you out initially, but the rest have to be grinded.

The reason behind is that TGC still wants beta testers to play the game. Plenty bugs to be discovered during regular candle runs at places you'd least expect them to be, so please do be on the lookout for those.

Beta has had a complete wipe before, so if ya see someone with a very old ultimate gift (say, the deer mask from gratitude) then you should definitely report them

Since the progress wipe, we have tested every single season in beta - including gratitude and lightseekers. But those seasons were too short for anyone to get the ultimates, so those are a tell for illegitimate behavior in-game

Sorry for the late reply, while I understand you, let me reiterate what I said. Those AP locked items were unobtainable unless you have pass. Veteran or not, those items will not be obtainable unless you have pass. That's why I am grateful for TGC for giving us this chance to have these items. Saying them as money grabber is too much. What if when the Traveling Spirit were introduced and they were already AP locked? Would you guys still argue it to this day? Like you said, people pay for candles when they haven't grind enough. Now you should see this in a broader perspective. The current TS system gave them more profit because people who didn't grind enough pay for candles. And I believe they spend ALOT. But I find it really weird why TGC decided this decision when the latter gave them more profit. I find their reasoning is more to it than people are able to see.

In my opinion, TS feels like a 2 week small content for skykids coming with rewards as i have seen more players especially new ones excited about ts than any other event. Now if a player has been a non-AP holder and yet been in a season throughout, he/she still has nothing to get from a TS except for a few spells or a wing buff and a heart. The AP holders from the TS season wont have much to get from it too but they have already got the items plus the 'ultimates'. I consider the AP as early access to items and not exclusive even though i am an AP holder myself. I feel this system might kill the hype associated with a TS for a lot of players and i have met kids below 10 years play this game yet not able to get the AP.

Now since we know it doesn't profit TGC, it doesn't profit non-AP-holders, and if we're perfectly honest AP-holders only profit by not having to spend hearts on certain emotes, since as we see prices on the items remaining to be bought didn't really decrease by a whole lot.
So who exactly does profit?

There's only 1 simple answer, they are trying to make more profit than they are currently making which makes sky a money grabbing game if this new TS system is implemented. The vast majority of sky players are teens and kids which do not have the money/ability to spend on the game. This just makes it unfair like a pay to win type of game, but in this case it's pay to get cosmetics. The current TS system is good and they should stick to it, it just makes people not want to play the game. Alot of people are saying that TCG will lose profit implementing it, because players will not be interested to grind for candles anymore.

TSC! I would like to suggest that you change the approach to innovations for the traveler spirits. I hear you want to make his clothes only available to Season Pass holders. This is great for old players who will free themselves from endless farming, but it is very sad for beginners or children who love your game no less, but are less solvent. I'm not really a fan of this TS system, but if it is going to be implemented then I think it would be a little better this way --> The items which were previously AP locked during the season should now be made free. For example consider the prophet of water coming as a TS. During the season, the hair & cape were locked while the mask was free (which means most f2p players have had a shot at getting that mask but not at getting the cape and hair). So it would be better if the cape & hair were now free. As a f2p player what's the point if the items one already has are free, but the very items they do not have are once again locked for AP?

please do not “camp” or wait for the next waves for an unhealthy amount of time. make sure to take care of yourself and your irl work/necessities while waiting. beta invitations isn’t something that’s worth losing so much of your time trying to get in for. you can always help improve the game with live bug reports and feedback! beta or no beta you’re still doing so much to the community by already being here.

this includes sacrificing schoolwork or job hours for it, invites tend to be sent in waves so people in different time zones all have a chance to get in!
most people who do get in usually just play with the new season for a few days and never play beta again, which is a whole other can of words itself and shouldn’t be the reason to give yourself and others so much trouble about it. waiting for the content to go on live when it’s not as messy and in progress is simply the best option if you just want to get beta for the early access. patience is key.

On that, it's important to remember that there isn't a time requirement to be a beta tester! Of course, we should all report bugs and provide feedback as much as possible, but it can get pretty busy sometimes playing both versions so remember to take breaks

The money you are paying gives you access to seasonal items way before others can get their hands on them. People who grind for TS wait for months on end and religiously spend 2 hours almost every day (in contrast, the seasonal candle grind takes like what, 10 minutes?). On top of this, they have absolutely zero idea what they are grinding for (i.e. they don't even know if the TS will be to their liking, whether it will be a repeat or not). This elitist mentality of having exclusivity over absolutely every paid seasonal item is not very fitting in a peaceful game like Sky where the community helps and is constantly uplifting each other. And to top it off, you still have complete exclusivity with the ultimate rewards and seasonal pendants.

And just so you know, this is coming from a player who pays for adventure passes. Sorry if I sounded rude at any point, it was not intentional

Just my perspective on this: I’ve been playing devotedly since the first season and put in the time to have all the free season items. However, paying for the pass is something I can't do.
If exclusive items become exclusive permanently, traveling spirits become useless to me. There are several AP items I very much want, and if this change goes to live, I might as well stop playing. No amount of time and effort will allow me to reach my goals anymore.

My feedback on the TS system, let me know what you think so I can revise to send to TGC (traveling spirit mentioned here is only kabuki, will update this feedback if needed when I see other spirits): putting AP lock on some items that include music sheets & cosmetics, plus nearly doubling the candle price on other items does not really help solve the grinding complaint from players, as players with AP who want to get the hat (which is more popular among players than the mask from my observation) will still have to grind a lot of candles just for a non - functional item. Grinding 70 candles for a single hat in this new system isn’t much different from grinding 76 candles for both the mask and hat, especially when map expansion with new seasons increase the daily candle count. However, such a change creates an even more serious problem of paywalling, where free players are barred from a lot of unique items. The move to change this system is problematic in itself, because it puts significant values on players getting easier access to largely cosmetics items, which shifts the focus on the game from a hang - out place for friends with occasional chances to obtain some cool looking items to a friendship game with hidden peer pressure on getting high - end cosmetics, which diminishes the purpose of putting “friendship” in.

This is the system Live is in right now, and nobody's stopped buying things yet.
It's also magnitudes harder to try to collect all items from a season through TS: this would involve a wait of months or years, many hours of candle grinding, and a near-certain chance that at least one of the items from that season never shows up at all. Waiting for spirits is by no means an easy replacement for passes.

Thoughts on the ts update

1. the domino
   Sky is about friendship but it's not the only reason ppl play it. If my friends quit I quit too and that's a fact.

2. The pass locked items
   Pls stop saying we get it for free. We literally spent weeks on candle running to get enough for the ts. And in some cases we buy candles by real money.

3. Cosmetics
   Altho some ppl say its not important, for me and lots of ppl like me it is a very important part of self expression through my character. If it's not important why do you even own anything other than moff hair and cape? (rhetorical)

In conclusion

The new system is a terrible idea and I will write a review based on it. AndnI encourage y'all to do the same

A 10$ in the US can mean a lot to players from countries from different corners of the world plus the additional costs. This system makes it look like gatekeeping items for players and portrays the game in a contrasting way than the one i have known from sometime ago, one among its many unique differences than the other games. Had this TS system be introduced this way right from the start people might have got accustomed to it but this change now when the player base has grown might make it difficult for many people to accept. If i remember correctly,the original post about the TS change was based on candle grinding and not on gatekeeping and this current change solved it halfway but also took away something from the f2p. If TGC feels AP Is more like early access to items (excluding ultimates) than exclusiveness then they should make it clear in the in-game AP info. I gave my feedback long back, hope you all gave yours!

Just a quick note on illegitimate cosmetics that you should report in ALL cases:
Deer mask ultimate gift
Fluffy red cape (NOT the purple one)
Lightseekers umbrella (the ultimate gift with orbs on it, NOT the regular umbrella)

There are some other suspicious items that are commonly gained illegitimately (fur cape, bonfire), but some perfectly legitimate beta players also own those items so don't immediately assume everyone with an Ult gift is hacking

The problem is most games appeal to people with any money and the fact that people have enough dedication to cr for 2 hours everyday for a game for some cosmetics they simply couldn't afford is admirable.
I've been poor. I've been there. I'm lucky to even say $10 is affordable but for a lot of people that simply isn't the case.
Making it so people have to grind 2 hours of their life away everyday for some freaking cosmetics is already crazy admirable and I've quit just because I couldn't do it myself. If they start charging, they'll lose a lot of the f2p people and they likely make up most of the action when they candle run everyday.

Also, to address what bibsy is saying. People aren't BEGGING for free items. They are WORKING for them. Working every single freaking day. I've seen people literally stress just because they couldn't candle run one day because their minimum wage job is kicking them in the shins.

TGC, creator of the game, has every right to charge money for its product, and they have shown repeatedly that they are listening to players and making decisions with many competing factors in mind. It has been previously stated that some of the proposed changes may actually result in a net reduction of income of TGC, so please don't assume that all decisions are about raking in piles of money. There is already a system that generates revenue for TGC which is sales of IAP, AP and merchendise.

TGC is not stating that this move is to increase game revenue but rather to reduce grinding work.

Some people are happy buy with money and some people find their means through in-game currency.

I'm a pass holder from last two sesons, It's not about affordability, it's about what tgc announced themselves as in the beginning and how this move changes the way many would look at the game.

(The cost of maintaining the servers and the creation of seasons, basically the development of the game are not to be taken lightly). Would it be possible for a pricing system for traveling spirits to be something like having an AP for the current season will give you a discount for the AP-locked traveling spirit items rather than simply locking non-paying players out of the AP items completely? I completely understand that TGC has the freedom to set their prices as whatever they want and am so, so grateful that the items have been returning as TS (completely missed Gratitude and didn't know enough about seasons when I joined in Lightseekers to actually get very much). However, I'm a little sad that the current beta traveling spirit system completely changes the way TS work since the beginning of TS. I would love to see the grind aspect go down, but I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to force purchases to decrease a grind.

I have ideas for the new update. Please tell me/react to this message if you agree.
As much as I dont want to be rude, but I extremely dislike the new update that was added to beta, (and HOPEFULLY not to the Live Version later), where you have to have the current season's pass in order to get the Traveling spirit items.
Honestly its hard enough trying to get all the candles you need to be able to fully unlock the ts anyways, and even if you DO have the pass, the prices are STILL very costly candle-wise (if not for veterans, for new players who are poor with less candles). I don't think its fair for all the people who just installed sky to be able to catch up to the veterans who already got the ts cosmetics even if they pay money for the pass.
I DO have an idea that might make some people satisfied though. **I think that the player should have two choices. **

1. They can buy the seasonal pass and wont have to pay any candles to fully unlock the cosmetics of the ts, seeing as they already paid money for the pass.
2. They can pay a large amount of candles, (more than usual to be fair), to fully unlock the ts. They dont have to pay for the pass.
   I hope this idea was a good one and being one of the poor players myself, I hope TGC staff will consider my feedback and ideas.

No offense to the f2p players but I feel like the system tgc put in place for the TS is more fair for those who held the adventure pass during the spirit’s season. Now that there are players getting items from seasons that other players had to pay real money for, I see it as the f2p players getting an unfair advantage with some of the cosmetics. You can have that symbol while also having the candle price beside it, it may look a little cluttered but it could solve that problem so you don’t need two separate trees! No f2p players are not greedy, and it absolutely disgusts me when people who invest money start shaming those players as if they're the worst that can happen to the game. In this link Kjtn sent, Jenova Chen says that with the current TS System, and new seasons getting added, it could take years before a recent player gets the chance to obtain an item they missed and which they want. At the same time, he reminds us that they dont want to devaluate those who played during the season (what was the first reason why TS were expensive and coming back not often at all).
This makes me think : are they planning on changing the TS system not only in the way their trees are arranged (cheaper for AP owners) but also making them come back more often? Like every week?

As much as I dont want to be rude, but I extremely dislike the new update that was added to beta, (and HOPEFULLY not to the Live Version later), where you have to have the current season's pass in order to get the Traveling spirit items.
Honestly its hard enough trying to get all the candles you need to be able to fully unlock the ts anyways, and even if you DO have the pass, the prices are STILL very costly candle-wise (if not for veterans, for new players who are poor with less candles). I don't think its fair for all the people who just installed sky to be able to catch up to the veterans who already got the ts cosmetics even if they pay money for the pass. ALSO @/ Krilltjn (Community Manager), you said that the ts was designed as a catch-up mechanic. How is it a catch-up ,mechanic if only the people willing to pay money can catch up?
I DO have an idea that might make some people satisfied though. **I think that the player should have two choices. **

1. They can buy the seasonal pass and wont have to pay any candles to fully unlock the cosmetics of the ts, seeing as they already paid** money for the pass. They will also be able to unlock the ts fully if they ALREADY paid money for the same season pass the ts was in when the ts's season was going on.
2. They can pay a large amount of candles, (more than usual to be fair), to fully unlock the ts. They dont have to pay for the pass, since they paid a lot of candles.
   I hope this idea was a good one and being one of the poor players myself, I hope TGC staff will consider my feedback and ideas.
   Plz tell me if I should remove or keep the italicized edit part-

Just an FYI to people complaining about money.. I buy the pass AND candles. And the time or money it takes to unlock the TS is a lot. Like you're spending waaay above $50+ CAD PER TS, or literally hours a day to do CR to afford everything. So people complaining that newer players have access to those cosmetics because they payed before is ridiculous!! I love that people have a chance to get everything.
Also, things aren't priced particularly fairly across currencies, so it's a lot bigger purchase for an AP some people.
I really like the idea that things could be free for AP holders, but still accessible for F2P players.

All this “no offense to non pass holders” or “no offense to f2p” is absolutely ridiculous

If you’re have to say no offense, it’s going to be mean or offensive. Thinking players who don’t spend money on the game “have enough” is one of the most insensitive things I’ve heard on this subject.

There are several children who play this game, including children of adults who play, which is lovely! But many of these children don’t have the luxury of having a job or being able to ask their parents to buy the ap for them, therefore are upset that they can’t get the beautiful items they want!

On the other side of the spectrum, several college kids (including myself and several of my friends) and teenagers play this game as well, several of my friends are struggling financially and don’t have the means to spend money on a game, so the TS system is really nice for them even if they do have to wait for a while

The TS system is incredibly generous and should stay f2p friendly, what I suggested before Is that pass holders get the pass lock items for free while f2p can still grind to spend candles on them and buy them as normal

Please be nice to f2p, you have no idea what their situation is or why they cannot afford the pass, $10 may not be much to you but it could be a lot to someone else

An addition to this is that TS come around 2 seasons after their season, thats around 4 months minimum, and there’s no guarantee the TS you want will come any time soon, so f2p have to be very patient to wait for the spirit they want and spend lots of time saving up for that one special cosmetic they loved so much when they couldn’t get the pass

As someone who has been able to buy the pass the past 3 seasons and has been a f2p before in this game, I think TS are more than fair

ah ok I am f2p player and i prefer the existing TS system compared to beta/new TS system.

Cosmetics are really expensive in existing TS system but I know that I am still able to put more timing into the game in exchange of candles and hearts to purchase them. I am totally OK with this.

While new TS system which required purchase of AP to get certain stuff will slightly hurts me..

Anyway I will continue the game no matter what changes have been made because cosmetics are only part of the game.

PS: f2p player not necessary POOR, I just enjoying the satisfaction of using hard work to get the stuff i want. Cheers 🙂

Because I just got into beta, it's been nice starting over from scratch. I do wish beta survers were more... full. Progress wipes mean all of your progress in beta is reset, for testing purposes. We've only had one so far, but they can happen at any time (with a warning in advance of course) if TGC needs it for testing. For this reason, it's a good idea to not be too attached to your cosmetics or wings in beta ^^

Access wipes, however, happen between seasons in beta to give all players a fair chance of getting in the beta! You can read all about that in #beta-faq

IAP in beta has limitations, for example the candle packs are not in the shop as the devs want people to actually test the game. But if you are just starting beta, you can get the starter pack and the founders pack! When a season start, you can get the pass for free, as well as any packs during events that go through testing

It's my first time and, I wanted the iOS version but I couldn't get in cause it was full so I entered on android just in case and now I have beta on iOS too tho
So i want to leave the beta version on my android since i wanna let someone else have the invite
It doesn't show me any "leave program" button how it says on faq, should i just uninstall it?

I read the statements TGC quoted for bringing new TS systems and I have two questions.

A community elder here quoted that TS was never designed to be free, and is simply 'catch up mechanic'. While this is true, it is also equally true that TGC did not put AP restriction back then for this catch up mechanic?

My first question is why did TGC did not put AP restrictions back then? and my second question is, If TGC didn't put AP restrictions back then, Why put now? If the root cause of the problem is that acquiring candles are time consuming for many, it makes sense to allow paying customers to get certain items for free, that does not necessarily call for AP restriction for an item that was released long ago? Can any member/community elder here help me understand the TGC's motive behind AP restriction?

Whatever the reason that TGC didn't put AP restriction through out this year 2020 for Traveling spirits, made Sky CoTL a great place that is where kids share Joy, Compassion, Togetherness and inclusiveness by having rewards (TS cosmetics) based on in-game currencies as well as with ability to purchase AP.

I started Live at the end of enchantment and I am a pass holder since there after, I occasionally make IAP. Yet I'd like to see sky kids get equal rewards in-game currencies and real world currencies, atleast for old items. Id like TGC to encourage inclusiveness over causing discrimination between a players who buy with real money and players who buy with in-game currencies. TGC does not explicitly state that new TS system is to increase game revenue by sale APs, if so then why digress from company's core motive?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it is there for the new players to access the current TS, but when it says you need the adventure pass you can click it and 'preorder' the season of prophecy pendant/pass and candles.

I used to spend a lot of hours each day CR cause I wanted the items, and I couldn't spend money on items. But it got extremely stressful cause I couldn't spend that amount of time CR during school months. That's an interesting point, and as a free player it does get frustrating sometimes. With the option to gift APs this might close the gap between free players unable to get items and those who can buy an AP. I candle run more than anything else and has ruined my normal gameplay.

Don't act like we're giving away benefits to free players. I met people who said, "Free clothes are good enough, don't ask for more". Well, you are right in saying that it is not very healthy and it's good to see TGC cares about their playerbase. But the solution to it cannot be to straight-up demotivate them from playing the game because a single hat costs a ridiculous price of 70 candles.

Young kids have no way of getting the pass, and if they're spending 2 hours per day, it's most likely because their parents are allowing them to (I'd like to believe that very few are cheating their parents and secretly playing 2 hours everyday). It's an equal tradeoff I'd say, buy the AP and get certain TS items free, or go f2p but spend an eternity grinding.

How many young kids are likely to have good enough friends in-game to offer them passes so generously?

In a perfect world TS would be cheap enough to prevent this or maybe announced earlier but I don’t think that’s going to happen
However I also think setting up a paywall won’t solve that issue, candle running is something young kids can control and is a certainty while permission from parents to buy something isn’t something guaranteed. Young kids getting passes in the game is an option but isn’t guaranteed, especially because those kids have to explain why they need three not just one.

Also I know beta is about “how it affects me personally” but I think since the beta is such a niche group I think it’s important to at least think about how it may impact others. So that’s why I do that

Collecting candles isn't very stressful and it's part of the gameplay. To miss out on the season then miss out again on a TS you've been waiting ages for only to find out you have to pay for and you can't, would be incredibly frustrating and disheartening for low/no income players.
Putting a TS there at home even though you can't afford it with real money would be teasing. With the current system now, at least there is a chance for everyone.
Should there be a pass for TS, I think it should be somewhat optional at least.

I like cr tbh, and as an adult I can already say, if this ts pass is implemented I'll no longer play :/ I now perfectly well that I can't afford it, and I'm not gonna have a kid pay for it for me... I can't rely on that

We haven’t really had much details about them yet, but it may be that you will need to complete the whole constellation in the future. But at the moment in beta you can buy each upgraded cape in a second cloud above an ascended lock. They cost 3 x the original cost.

I just has a silly thought.. wouldn’t it benefit both free-to-play and pay-to-play if for example: the ts came normally for people without the pass (expensive candle prices) and for people with the adventure pass the prices are lower.

Having no obligation to farm for candles means I can do so many fun things with my friends like just having a nice conversation, or exploring and seeing if we can get to an out of bounds area, and helping others without having to worry about what I need to do for myself first

Regarding to playing just becausr of the cr and seeing it as an obligation...I used to play and be addicted for the cr. But then I made a lot of friends and soon, I didn't care about cr, yes I still did it but I was only ubering friends or moths and helping others. Spending time with friends was my reason to play but sadly they stopped playing the game so I did. I try to connect once in a while to help moths because I can't make friends and have a good connection with them. So if someone if playing just for the cr...Please, don't focus on that, make friends also you can still get candles just don't push yourself to the point it becomes an obsession. I say this from personal experience, when you will make friends, trust me, you will, they will be your actual reason to play because that's what sky's about, friendship and sorry for saying this just now, the cooldown-

I’ll be honest, candle running can get a bit stressful, and I really do enjoy spending time with my friends in sky, I just worry that the new ts system will make candles kinda.. useless.. outside of finishing the constellations. While yes a big part of sky is the social part, the gameplay is important too for keeping ppl around. If there’s nothing to do anymore cause you can’t save up for the things you want and your candle count just keeps rising with no use for it, it can lose its charm kinda... I’m all for playing a game for the ppl I’ve met during it, but if the game itself doesn’t have much for me to do anymore, idk if I’d stick around 😔 once you finish sky.. there isn’t a lot to do tbh unless you have close friends. It’s what made me stop playing the game for months after season of lightseekers, there just, wasn’t anything keeping me around really, that was before the ts system came. I feel like this doesn’t take away the stress of grinding either because rn you still have to get 70 candles for the hat to even get the mask for free! I’d say making friends is a great part of sky, but it’s also nice to have a goal to strive towards, and do that with your friends even,

Can you imagine how big Sky world will be with every new locations every new season? I cannot do a full run anymore since Sanctuary. It's tiring and unhealthy. So, I gave up farming candles in some locations.

i play the game for more than two hours (whoops) but for me it’s not about candle runs it’s really about me practicing music on sky and talking to friends, is that not the point of the game?
the games purpose in the end is not for candle running, and personally i find it stressful and tiring and I’ve found a few friends leaving because of feeling the need to candle run to get the ts :-(
