the freedom of being able to choose between what you wanted was good and a lot less expensive, personally I always just went for one specific first and if I could or I wanted for the rest, I don't know people who really would spend for every item in all the ts, when they have the election to go for the most wanted one

it's just something they're testing. we don't know if this is the final version or if it will ever go live (remember we havea bunch of beta stuff that's been testing for months or longer)

the way I've understood it and how it appears to be is that in this proposed, very-much-in-beta, not-coming-to-live-anytime-soon system the items that were only available for adventure pass holders during the past season would be free for adventure pass/pre-order pass holders of the current/next season and inaccessible for non-pass players with the ts tree getting reorganised as well

Those items were pass items in the past. This is an idea the devs had to reduce candle grinding and money spent on candle packs. Its not the final design

a reminder that gaining items and cosmetics in beta will stay in beta. any progress won't transfer to live, and to be clear there isn't much of a reward for being a tester other than being able to access something early, which can be rad, but also filled with bugs and possibly incomplete content. i've seen players complain about these things, yet the whole purpose of beta is helping out with progress. TGC wants help and feedback to improve the game in terms of new content, updates or just feedback on the game overall (which you can still do in live pOg).

They also overhauled their beta testing program since the last beta so things work differently than what you have come to expect in the past. I reached to google last week about some of these changes and am still waiting on a response.

This link works for android user to become tester. The link in beta invite only takes to google play update. This link here takes to the become tester button.

in all jokes aside though please do not “camp” or wait for the next waves at an unhealthy amount of time. please take care of yourself and your irl work/necessities while waiting. beta isn’t something that’s worth losing so much of your time trying to get in for. you can always help improve the game with live bug reports and feedback anyways

because you need to click the link in #beta-signup-info and do so from a mobile device. the link with the blue button is something different. i cannot edit Aeri's post to remove the link from the "how do i quit the program" faq. clicking that link runs the risk of not actually being able to be a beta tester.

Idk how people feel about this, but as long as pass-locked items from TS are free/cheaper than usual, then I'm cool with that. Less grinding is always great, and grinding/backtracking is what's killing the experience for me

I too tried becoming a tester back on prophecy wave. I was told google need time to catch up... It didn't.

Most likely you'll have to wait till next wave in months.

DISCLAIMER. i tell this based on my experience. I couldn't download the beta back then altho i was a tester. I got the opportunity just now
