Kay some bugs just aren't that easy to fix. TGC is a small indie game developer team of about 30-40 people and they have a LOT they're working on right now. Live definitely gets waaaaaay less bugs than beta but it's impossible for the game to be 100% bug free even live. They do try their best to put out the least amount of bugs possible

I wonder if beta player encountered the earth trial bugs that sends u back to the beginning of the trial if u fall at the end of the labyrinth where you have to jump over some blocks to go to the statutes to pray.

As someone else already pointed out, even if we all report the same bug(s) it doesn't mean that the problem will be fixed in time for the Live release. Sometimes bugs are hard to replicate for the devs to find what's wrong in the code. If you're curious about what has been reported you can browse the bug channels.

I completed the trials like 10 different times before prophecy hit live and never encountered that bug, I completed the trial of earth a lot of times for skips in beta and also live but never personally found it,

Though I do remember the reason for it was because the server merged and cleared the trial, and you didn't need to light that checkpoint, so it sent you back to the last checkpoint you actually touched, which was at the beginning. If this answers your question, yea, we've seen it, it's not our fault its still in live. It's a hard bug, I don't even think it is a bug, if you didn't hit the checkpoint then ?

the one bug that hit Android a while back with the crazy graphics was never encountered in beta, iirc. it just showed up in live for no reason

I think it is very helpful for non-beta players to read through the #beta-faq to learn more about how the beta program actually works so there's no blameshifting or other issues 
The beta program can be confusing for people to understand if they have no reference or information about it, which is one of the reasons why the #beta-faq exists in the first place. New beta players have the same learning curve as well. Just because we're in beta doesn't mean that we know everything about the game or how the beta program works

When I first joined beta, I knew that all IAP were free, but still hesitated to buy anything because I had an irrational fear that I'd get charged and then refunded for it or something. Beta moth me was not very smart

regarding a post about why there's a limit, if it was even possible for there to be no limit to beta (not sure if there is a limit) i'm pretty sure most players would end up playing beta instead of live due to features in beta such as early seasons, free iaps, etc. (of course these are for testing purposes, but even with the slot limit people still only join beta for these features and take up a slot for someone who actually wants to help. 
) it would end up being pretty chaotic too when or if progress ends up getting wiped. this might not be the actual reason, but using my common sense i came up with this answer.

we don't really know how it works, but the general idea is to do friendship actions. (some people get the bar to raise by doing nothing though-)

As said earlier, there is no guarantee that the bug is (1) encountered on beta or (2) fixed in time for release to live. There's a massive amount of devices that can run Sky, and some bugs are literally only encountered on certain systems. Beta testing slots are limited, meaning that some systems may not be even represented in beta. That's just how beta testing works. TGC tries to make fixes based on the data that they have, but it may not always be enough at times. Please keep in mind that TGC is a small team with about 20-30 people on the engineering/dev team.

there are lots of bugs that we've seen throughout testing that have been patched before going to live, and there are bugs that sneak into live because of time/difficulty with fixing them, and then there are some that we've never seen in beta, and only affects live. there are so many factors to testing, but at the end of the day, us testers can't do much with fixing bugs, and the dev team are always working to make the game better. I think it's possible for some people in live because of that one time we got the Gratitude dismiss emote briefly as the traveling spirit when it was supposed to be a different one, so some people got an extra wing buff from that before TGC fixed it

no one knows how it works though. we assume that by doing things like making friends, leading them through realms, leveling their friendship trees, etc., the bar that indicates the role goes up. it can also go down if you are inactive

Sorry for the late reply, but the shepherd system has been in beta for over a year now. It's probably not going to live anytime soon, since we've had little to no changes on the system for a few months now

I personally don't see any real reason for it to be there. If you're a friendly person, you will still be that regardless of the meter. Theoretically it can sometimes be good to see that someone is new in the game, but even older players need help from time to time, so I'm not sure the moth heart badge is of any real use either. But perhaps others feel differently?
Oh, and not all new players want help either. Some definitely want to explore on their own and us vets grabbing them by the hand and leading them around can even be confusing or a negative experience.

I think the cosmetics are nice on their own, but they are difficult to combine with everything else we have in the game. I don't enjoy the trials, so the season as a whole isn't one I will cherish the way I do some of the others. But it's interesting lore-wise.

When I tried it with a new friend I met it was not perfect quality but I could still easily understand what they were saying overall. Its been in testing for a while, but as far as I know still has no estimated arrival time in live (there's still bugs here and there getting patched for it)

I really like the translator being there. Most of the time it does a good job even tho it’s not all the time accurate. But it really does help keep the conversation going. I tried Russian English translation with a friend and it worked pretty well already. I definitely like it

i like the translator too, even though it doesn't always activate right. my biggest concern is that the other side doesn't know how to use it, so it gets confusing at times, especially when it decides to bug out. hopefully those bugs get patched soon

Yes it was really confusing for me at first until my friend taught me to open message history and long tap on the message to activate the translator button. But once you know how to do it it’s a breeze

re "community submitted meditation questions": they might be able to take some suggestions from us in a dedicated survey and then decide which ones to implement, but i don't think it'd be feasible to continuously accept and implement new ones when they'd have to ensure the questions work across languages and cultures -- they'd probably have to manually check and translate each one to be sure they work

I saw in a forum that the initial players randomly assigned a "scale". Some players assigned a value that was too small, which would affect their later body shape changes. In terms of pictures circulating on the Internet, they could never reach the No.1 height and No.0 height. Is this true?

There really isn't an official answer. There are fan made size charts, and even a website that tells you your height and the probability of getting taller or shorter, but other than the information we already know, we can't exactly help you. Sorry.

You’ll get it eventually, my first resize potion waaay back in lightseekers made me almost max height, then I took another potion sometime in November, and it took me from then to March of this year to reach a similar height again

For starters, there are no limiters on an individual player's height. If you've never managed to achieve 2.0, it's a matter of unfortunate randomness. The difference that scale makes to overall size of your skykid is fairly trivial, it's less than the difference between one number and the next on that player-made height guide that uses the 1-14 format. With the existence of 4000 different heights that can be achieved with the use of the Resize Potion, the chance of getting it is 0.025% per use. That chance does not increase per Potion used, there is no "bad luck protection" with increased use. You aren't going to magically get the height you desire in January. There is a livestream interview with Jenova (i think #5) on the TGC YouTube channel where he explains our desired goals around player height. Resize potions were not meant to be a means to achieve a specific height, they're supposed to be a fun thing to use periodically, it is intentional that we do not have a feature to accomplish this. The compromise to player demands was adding the ability to consistently obtain more potions from the spell shop. Though access is limited (can only buy a set number at a given time) and is further limited by obtaining with an in-game currency that cannot be obtained by spending money and has a hard cap to the amount obtained per week to prevent abuse. We genuinely listen to the community and try to make compromises that still uphold our design goals while giving players options.

For starters, there are no limiters on an individual player's height. If you've never managed to achieve 2.0, it's a matter of unfortunate randomness. The difference that scale makes to overall size of your skykid is fairly trivial, it's less than the difference between one number and the next on that player-made height guide that uses the 1-14 format. With the existence of 4000 different heights that can be achieved with the use of the Resize Potion, the chance of getting it is 0.025% per use. That chance does not increase per Potion used, there is no "bad luck protection" with increased use. You aren't going to magically get the height you desire in January. There is a livestream interview with Jenova (i think #5) on the TGC YouTube channel where he explains our desired goals around player height. Resize potions were not meant to be a means to achieve a specific height, they're supposed to be a fun thing to use periodically, it is intentional that we do not have a feature to accomplish this. The compromise to player demands was adding the ability to consistently obtain more potions from the spell shop. Though access is limited (can only buy a set number at a given time) and is further limited by obtaining with an in-game currency that cannot be obtained by spending money and has a hard cap to the amount obtained per week to prevent abuse. We genuinely listen to the community and try to make compromises that still uphold our design goals while giving players options.

Do you mean update? Testing is ongoing over the whole beta period. Updates come semi regularly, depending on new things being implemented and bugs getting fixed but they wont be as often now that pretty much all of prophecy has hit live servers.

I don’t think Trial of Air has major shortcuts. Only the last part u can kinda bypass the three blow jumps and aim for the finish statue directly, but again it’s a small slot and takes a lot of luck

the live guys are probably getting a completely different experience than what we got going through all the iterations of the fire trial after the first blockier version

one of my beta friends revisited it one or two days ago after she only went for the very first version of the fire trial, and she also took about 30-40 minutes treading cautiously -- it's definitely a lot faster when you're confident

I just don't have enough motivation to go in there alone. I did it a few times alone when it was in it's hardest form i think (except piggy stack trick ) and that's all. google seems to be letting people download as other google beta testers leave but from my understanding it's still not supposed to let people without access in and if you didn't get access through the invites (check the link in #beta-faq and see if it says if you are a tester) then you shouldn't be able to download even if someone leaves. you will have access wiped at the next access wipe either way so make sure you sign up for an invite again when that time comes

one thing I can predict: invite wave chaos gonna be a LOT of people asking questions that are already answered in the faqs so be prepared for a 5-15 minute slowmode for a while. highly suggest if you haven't already to get a beta invites ping role so you're notified when new invites come because access is revoked between seasons now and you need to sign back up every time

there is a "bug" that makes something different appear in the place where the level 11 cover design would be, but it only appears when you spend energy, then when you recover back to normal
