Could it be that your character are different sizes in beta and live ? I know as someone who used to run exclusively on the shortest non chibi size that it feels slower when your skykid is taller

Hmm actually it's not lowered but limited, for example burning a darkness tree on a high-end phone requires around 13secs with high performance mode (60 FPS), 17secs with mid perf. mode (30 FPS) and 20+ secs for low quality mode. This can also represents in flying and controls.

I just tried out. It's ture that fps impact the speed of burning darkness. Like the games tick are base on fps. The higher fps you have the more respond you get. ||Like the game check the darkness's state per fps while you burning it||

We use mr or ms/Mrs or mx (gender neutral alternative) as an honorific in cases where redirect is needed but in casual settings like a game we call each other by name! In the language I'm learning, the honorific are not gender specific but more to do with hierarchy I would be Kai-san there probably since I don't do anything important.

i found a capeless moth in beta, now i'm getting dragged on an adventure

this is a pretty buff moth though, they're going for pretty much all the candles they can reach without flapping

I think its meant to. But for me when I had no wing buffs, skipped orbit star and was reborn it took me straight to pity star, then the reborn fall from the sky cutscene played, then I went back to pity star, then it finally spawned me on home plate all in a matter of seconds. Letting me go free with no stars.

honestly I take all my beta things with a grain of salt. we never know when there might be a progress wipe it does say there’s no compensation for bugs like curency or items not being given in the FAQ but it’s still important to bug report it right away if you encounter issues like that so the devs can fix it before it releases live.

Just a a keep it wholesome for sky thing: maybe use a different phrasing than triggered. It's become kinda toxic and strayed a lot from the medical/mental health use. Angry, upset, and irritated all work in this context. You can also get creative with sillier words if you want. I just don't want anyone with real triggers to think their health is being downplayed

There are many changes being made in beta after the season launches in Live. Most notably, there will always be lots of polishing to the seasonal area, such as the pillar in the cave. (Also, you really don't need to spoiler tag things that are beta exclusive in the beta channels. We all know already. 😉

@scenic lynx beta is a testing ground for new features and new seasons. Before a new season comes to Live, it's tested for 2-3 weeks until it's deemed ready. But even then, tweaking and polishing continues, which means that there will always be differences between the Live version and beta. If you are missing items or there are bugs in the Live version, you can always report them in #report-a-live-bug . But don't use beta content for comparison.

Yes, TGC is a small company and they do playtest their own games, but it's probably a lot more efficient to have thousands of players also do it for them. Some things only happen when you stress test the game. Plus, there is a wide variety of devices out there, which can cause different types of issues.

I suppose the compensation is feeling like a part of the development of the game, working closely with TGC, as well as seeing new content first.

I did fire 3 or 4 times the last few days for different reasons but just by handholding or piggy you wont lose light unless if you slap your friend somehow imto the wall. Walls are draining your energy. Piggy tower is not immortal anymore, fluffies can end the tower.

Now it's switched to ascended candles because a lot of people complained about not having a place to use them.We feel that the Elders Store, the kind of store we're going to expand next (adding more ultimate items) is a bonus for long term players rather than short term players. So using ascended candles is more in line with the currency, candle's time investment value, ❤️'s social investment value, ascended candle cycle investment value.

beta servers are definitely a lot emptier than live especially around this time when the season has been in live for a while and we don't have much new to test. I always suggest people try to hang out around general chat a bit more so some of the regulars can get to know you better to make beta friends I'm the weird one who adds anyone who asks me and goes adding every grey skykid I see in game but some of the regulars here only add people they've talked to for a while

Tronix the 3 number version and the build numbers are different things, you can be on the same version but different build, especially in beta.
Morue if youll notice, some of the season hairs are different than the base game hairs, and even some of the base game cosmetics differ from eachother, its odd but I like it

ODR and PAD (iOS and Android, respectively) are disabled on Beta so you download the entire app directly each update instead of on an as-needed basis like you do on live.
