EDIT: To get to experience the season and all events in advance, and actually contribute to its refinements and tweaks before it hits live is already a great gift on its own...
To be able to collect and keep the cosmetics and friends in beta is just a bonus

as it's listed in the #beta-faq we do not typically compensate for bugs or missing items/currencies in Beta. While we did eventually fix the issue with the manta cape last season, that's not a guarantee or promise that we will do those kinds of compensations in the future.

as it's listed in the #beta-faq we do not typically compensate for bugs or missing items/currencies in Beta. While we did eventually fix the issue with the manta cape last season, that's not a guarantee or promise that we will do those kinds of compensations in the future.

I don't think that's very fair for people who really can't manage it on their own, or even for people who want to help people having trouble with it. If you want to make it challenging for you and your friends, you are very free to not use friend interactions. You can even deactivate warping. Even all throughout the harder parts of Eden you can take people by hand or even guide them without holding their hands (that's how I made some great friends!). Sky is also about helping each other and all, so I wouldn't see why you wouldn't be allowed to help each other in these trials this way as well!

i'd actually rather warping be preserved, so groups don't get penalised for being too big for everyone to survive around one candle; the ideal solution for me would be to weaken the regeneration rate you get from holding hands/piggybacking in the fire trial, but that strikes me as a more complex solution to implement than simply disabling the friendship actions entirely

I’ve tried all the trial with friends (with and without holding hand) and solo and for example fire. Just by have another person helping you light up candle made it so much easier. The dust bunnies patterns are also now easier to predict and stable so just a bit of patience you both can pass easily.

But then the reason for the spike in difficulty in fire was because the majority of feedbacks sayings its too easy so I’d say there will always some people that will complain.

I think that depends on if you know the route or not, and if your friend has warp with you or not. And also just your gameplay as well. I went with a friend who had never been there yesterday, she got lost in the kind of maze in the 3rd level. Visibility is really low, and you don't necessarily know which candles are safe or not, and once many candles are lit, which way is the way when you get disoriented. Not everyone has a group who has piggyback unlocked with everyone

Just finished fire trial solo and I think is something you can't do in the first time easily, you really just have to try again and again learn the patterns of those smoke creatures and be able to find candles in the darkness, even though some candles look very random they all round up to a checkpoint I can now say that it's no longer a deathwish trial to go through solo and you can do it

@crude pasture the last section is extremely merciless, it goes straight to 100 you might as well do the skip instead, i had more difficulty to get past that part than the entirety of the fire trial itself, it doesn't compare

I feel water to earth will be a week wait, earth to air will be a week wait, air to fire will be a 2 week wait. Since water and earth aren't as bad as air and fire, that way newer players get an extra week to fail at air and quite a fair amount of time to fail at fire before the season ends.

They don’t release the eden crown since hackers are able to get it. So if you see someone who has it, it is easy to recognize a player that should and must be banned throughout the game.
