Moff: Part of being a beta player is playing the game and trying to be self sufficient when possible. There are many players who don’t have access to social media or sites that provide info to sky. They simply play sky as it is strictly thru the game. If someone can’t figure out where the areas are or how new things work... this might be a problem in the game/season’s design.
If a few beta players have problems then it may translate to hundreds of players in live having problems. Your feedback and experience is important

I understand that being a beta player/ tester is both an honor and responsbility.
It is an honor to be able to experience the raw and early version of everything, as buggy as they may be, plus we get IAP's for free! Even after TGC does its regular access swipes, we still get to keep them, and our friends too!
It is a responsibility because we we accountable for reporting bugs, and providing feedback to the makers of the game.
Just think of it this way, our presence in beta could directly contribute to the betterment of the live version of the game with which we, our friends, and millions of players enjoy - together.

I definitely agree, and also that as responsible as we want to be... it’s also ok to take breaks. Especially if real life responsibilities ramp up! At least there’s an active portion of testers who can keep going, but never feel too pressured to play beta as seriously as live. Balancing play time and work time is important.

I was going through the Beta feedback back when we were testing Sanctuary, and saw a couple of y'all mention that it looked like a pancake. I thought it was hilarious and included it in one of my reports.

We never said the Halloween items were unique to 2019, there's no reason to assume as much unless explicitly stated by us in official announcements. It's a very common practice to bring back holiday items from year to year. I'm sorry you made an incorrect assumption and are now frustrated when learning the truth, but the word "Limited" is used correctly under these circumstances.

Things that Jenova says on his personal account may not be an accurate representation of what officially makes it into the game. That is something that has been considered, but that isn't necessarily the final decision we'll land on.

I think it's ok to change your mind, whether you are a human being or a company (consisting of human beings), as long as you explain why and how you came to that decision. Sometimes the first decision was just plain wrong or only beneficial for a small set of people. I think it's great that more people can get those Halloween items from last year.

@strong canopy The bug you're referring to isn't really a bug, using the table to go out of bounds isn't intentional behavior, what caused the current "bug" was us actually fixing a genuine bug that was eating people's spells without letting them actually use the spell. While we'll see if we can try and preserve that functionality, I cannot make promises or provide an ETA on if or when that may occur in the future. It's usually pretty tricky to turn a bug of that nature into a feature.

It's the same thing for your friends who turn black.
The triangles are a great way to locate people's presence, so we don't lose anyone in the middle of a trial or the ||storm|| in Eden, or anywhere else

I only found wind channels in the air trial where if you hop right and move carefully you can go through them. Didn't find any walls of air that were strong enough to fully push me off that I couldn't get through. Can you clarify please?

The new marker reminds me of when the shepherd system was first introduced and EVERYONE had a symbol over their head, signifying beginner or shepherd. That was quickly removed, because feedback said "too much clutter on the screen". I honestly still don't understand why radar honk was removed.

@late mountain at the very end, when there are three wind arrows in a row, I can carefully land on the first stone most times and reach the 2nd air arrow (airrow hehehe), it is almost impossible to land on the third airrow/stepping stone before it. Assuming I make it to the third and go fly off to the final spot, a wind wall prevents me from actually reaching it. I know they put that there so you cannot use the first stone to shortcut on over, but it is also preventing me from reaching it the proper way

@keen perch Hmm, I never found that wall. My only advice would be to try and take the most intended/direct route since I didn't run into it so hopefully you wont either then. Also remember despite your lack of cape both flight modes still work and are controllable as normal but with a much quicker fall speed. Also when landing on normal ground (not candle launch arrow stones) be sure to jump/flick in the opposite direction of your motion to cancel all momentum and land easier. Also for the glide mode of flight it will auto activate for longer jumps, sometimes this can be unexpected so its easier to activate it prematurely yourself then work with that flight mode than have it activate when you least want it to. Hope that helps!

It depends on what the feedback was, when it came over to us, and how easily it is for us to take action on it. We look at all the feedback and make appropriate adjustments, a lot can happen from feedback over the course of one work day. and considering the time...the team was at it for 12+ hours today getting tweaks and fixes in. It is important to jump on and test changes on the latest build, the sooner the better, in case something you give feedback on is already under review for adjustments. That being said, some things can and will take longer to make adjustments for than a day or two, or even a couple weeks.

@keen perch Hmm, I never found that wall. My only advice would be to try and take the most intended/direct route since I didn't run into it so hopefully you wont either then. Also remember despite your lack of cape both flight modes still work and are controllable as normal but with a much quicker fall speed. Also when landing on normal ground (not candle launch arrow stones) be sure to jump/flick in the opposite direction of your motion to cancel all momentum and land easier. Also for the glide mode of flight it will auto activate for longer jumps, sometimes this can be unexpected so its easier to activate it prematurely yourself then work with that flight mode than have it activate when you least want it to. Hope that helps!
@late mountain thanks for the advice, though I am already doing that. this wind wall is killing me. I finally somehow slid over to the side instead of going the logical, direct route, but I slid too much and fell below. I'm giving up for now. I am just so done with these steps. The other areas I had difficulties with in air and repeated every time I failed, I learned to do well and with ease, but this very end bit is unpredictable in the direction I will actually fly. I can't be as calculated as I'd like. ugh

I usually lead 4-7 people on my day to day runs, and I always hate it when I lose them during a krill or crab attack. If one or two of them turns black, it gets almost impossible to locate them quickly, especially if there are moths involved. I think the triangles would be a very helpful tool for those of us who always fly with a village..

Some people bought cosmetics from the sanctuary before they were available for comora. TGC support said they would not return seasonal hearts and the supreme instrument. Days later the TGC returned the supreme instrument of the sanctuary 🤡

Okay, the beta is incomplete and full of bugs, cosmetics are not guaranteed or anything. So why when reporting the seasonal heart bug in the sanctuary season they said they weren't going to do anything And then they returned the cosmetic to some players and now it won't be the same?

@strong canopy So you know when you go to relive a spirit’s memories and if you run away before activating the cut scene the “flame” button appears so when you accidentally tap it, it brings you back to the spirit’s cut scene? They replaced that flame sign to a little blue star instead so there’s no accidental teleporting back to the spirit. Make sense?
