Precisely. Cosmetics don't really affect the gameplay. You can dress as a moth and fly side by side with a player wearing their deer mask and you'll fly just the same

I’m fine with them taking those candles out because I know by just doing candle runs, I can get that same amount in an hour for free. That’s really depend on how each individual see the game. I collected everything but wear the same outfits coordinations that I like best so I say cosmetics does not affect my gameplay.

Uh that's why they're called passes:
You get bonus 20-30 extra seasonal candles (and daily seasonals - only if you login to collect it daily anyway), and exclusive access to more cosmetics
Hence: Passes - exclusive access to certain stuff (but only if you do the daily quests and find the seasonal candle bunches anyway)

seasonal pass gives you 20-30 extra seasonal candles, and extra access to (limited and exclusive) seasonal items - including the ulti gift(s)
but getting those items is still up to you
you still have to grind daily for the quests - to get seasonal candles, and unlock your friendship spirit tree with the seasonal spirit
theoretically, you could have the seasonal pass, but never have a single item from the season if you're lazy

If you weren’t there to experience the season you shouldn’t be able to get the ultimate item. Rather a variant of it instead. Allow the ultimates to return but in different colour variations. A deer mask with silver antlers instead of gold. A blue flamed campfire instead of yellow. Just subtle differences that allow new players to enjoy old items but for veteran players to enjoy the authenticity of theirs

This is also why TGC has stated that they are trying to figure out a solution to this, but it will not be from a traveling spirit becuase that would be extremely unfair to those who had to pay for the adventure pass and possibly candle packs to get it.

I knew of sky when it released. Sadly, I don't have 1000 USD to spend on an iPhone/pad. So I missed out and watched on the sidelines waiting for my chance to play. I would say money isn't the point that matters when veterans disagree with simple purchase button. Hard work matters. What if people get to access the UG if they have completed 100% of all that season spirits, and spend like 30-ish ascended candles to exchange for it in ||orbit||? It takes time and hard work to complete all the TS coming back and many white candles as well.

Any feedback, whether it is "Hey can we please separate the hair from the witchhat and sell both together?" or "change the earth cape colour." Should go in #beta-feedback, the more people do speak out about this the more chance we have of these things being changed
But yeah the witch hat would def be better separate from the hair (still want the hair though) so we can match it with our fav hair (regardless of clipping, a lot of stuff clips in this game)
And Earth cape would be better in any other colour than purple pink. And yes, grey would be a nice colour for it

Im pretty sure thats how it works. They do check the feedback channels and pass it on, either if its a good idea or a frequent concern. The more people speak about it the more likely it is that its gonna be brought to their attention. they have remodelled and changed things in the past upon feedback

I think the purpose of the luminous underneath of the black cape is so that we can still glow (a bit) in dark areas. Afterall, we are children of the light, not children of the dark

Maybe if they made the capes more grey, it would fit with the aesthetic more... although the Water Prophet cape looks fine the way it is, imo

but when we got the final version (as a full suit), everyone loved it even more.

any color is honestly fine with the cape, i would suggest it just isnt super saturated and bright in color or what if the cape was more of a burgundy? idk i just like burgundy and yellow rn

Anyone can confirm if the fire trial environment changed and difficulty are the same as the orevious build
Im not sure whats the change other than jumping is not on point when landing. Slippery like.

When the season opened, my friend and I never died (not even once) while holding candles both.
It was as if the monsters could not touch us because of our fires..
Hence, we reached the end of the trial too fast too soon. It was disappointing..
2 updates later, the monsters don't seem to care about our candles anymore... even with white candles which are visibly brighter and more luminous, they would still attack and we would die and respawn at the last lit checkpoint
The environment has significantly improved as well..
It used to be just a bland flat surface with blocks you can jump on during season opening day, additionally, the candles used to be red too, which was odd because red candles usually emit wax, so it wasn't the best color for the trial
Now it feels like we are inside a deep deep dark cave (which is awesome!), and the candles are now white and varying in height, basically the deeper you go into the cave, the bigger the candles get (and they are noticeably located farther away they are form each other)

i sent feedback them to keep the difficulty of Trials. because Trials are not temporary quests. players can challenge at any time and it’s not necessary to clear the game itself imo

@pulsar blade don't forget you have to calculate your timings too. The monsters seem to have some kind of pattern, and the camera shakes a little bit (with some sounds) indicating that they are coming

oh i've experience that since forever: save one video to the camera roll, if you try to save another video too soon it wont let you save to the camera roll, so i put it in files instead audio wont record if your phone is on silent mode so you have to turn it off or put on headphones recording beta for possible bug encounters has betrayed me one too many times

Once again a thing to remember : it's not good to generalize older players. There are some who are all for the return of Ults. I know a few who have been playing sky since pre release beta who want ults to come back. Some older players don't want ults to come back. It's not fair to generalize these players into all one group because it increases the feeling of "us VS them" when really they have a lot of different opinions.
It comes down to: who u agree with and more importantly your own opinion. You matter just as much as a vet.

I have played plenty of games where I needed to get something or miss out on it forever. Am I upset about the $2 increase? Damien there are also other costs that come with running an online game. I played another popular one before and a friend who works for mobile stuff estimated it cost over a million annually to keep its servers up. I can't estimate how much it costs for sky to run but there's that factor to contend with, as well as paying staff, office fees, getting enough money to hire new staff etc.

Oh, side note! I tried crashing in gw main area in beta... Crab spell 3 times and 6 deep calls and no crash. Android 11. Sorry if any bystanders crashed. The server seemed empty. Edit: also in battlefield by the plant, those crabs didn't crash the game.

the in game recorder doesn't work at all for me on android (galaxy note 10 running android 10). pulling the menu down from the top of my screen doesn't stall my game like it does on ios. but the screen recorder only works for me if it's on before the deep calling happens anyways so I gotta actually remember to pop it on before entering sanctuary, forest, office, or GW. (yes I've crashed with forest and office crabs)
