When iOS 13 came out Sky played just fine, except for a few exclusive bugs that weren't too crazy. iOS 14 has been on beta for some time, so hopefully will be the same, I don't think we've heard anything too unusual from people here that play Sky with that version

Typically it’s best to not update as soon as the OS update drops. They tend to get really buggy. My phone was near unusable for several days back when iOS 11 (or was it 12?) dropped. That one was super buggy

Today, I found a beta moth in home. I changed my outfit to also be a moth like them (I lit them up before I changed) and we had fun. Honking in unison then in a rhythm, spamming emotes, etc. I decided to friend them because they seemed nice. Then they unlocked high five! How nice! Then hug! ... wait, are you gonna... They tried to unlock chat but I’m afraid I had to decline... I’m a tad bit shy when it comes to making friends like that. I’d rather chat with table or bench. After awhile then I’m fine with unlocking chat. I feel bad to have declined. But still. Unless it’s via QR or I didn’t know I can QR with them (it’s happened several times), I’m not good with unlocking chat instantly after befriending.

nope, traveling spirits in live and beta arrive at the same time, with the same spirit

Amber, beta faq has that exact answer, and no they arrive at the same time cause traveling spirits are not a feature we need tested, like how beta doesn’t reset an hour early, we don’t need to test candles(unless there’s a specific bug)

yeah beta doesn't really need to test the TS so they really did that to be nice to the beta testers. it's a happy bonus we get so I'm really happy they did. I can collect the old emotes in beta

Ah, and also before I forget: has anyone encountered bugs with the interface where buttons either aren't appearing or an overlay is blocking you from being able to move your sky kid? The two situations i've encountered so far (but can't replicate properly are):

• Trying to use the "Home" button from the emote menu seemingly doesn't bring up the dialogue and the tick/cross boxes to go home, but closing the menu makes them appear momentarily (too fast for you to tap either option)
• A transparent black screen overlay appearing after you light a spirit to relive it, that blocks any screen input in the game (can't open menu or move sky kid at all)

The troubleshooting steps are not a solution, it’s all on google and there’s really nothing you can do if those steps don’t work

Just standing near another player (that you lit up?) refills their light. That's how I get most of my "Refill another player's light" done.
When someone comes online, they basically have no light. Just stand at the circle when someone comes online then bam, the quest is done!

I talk to one of the google supports but he keeps telling me to contact the developers.
Also he mentioned that, developers often remove their beta version when releasing the live version. This sounds fishy here cause, he is showing me to download the live version instead of beta. Google doesn't want us to have beta cause there's already a live version. Yes i know its bonkers that they're making us beta testers suffer am talking about Android. Well this isn't slow pace for google, 24 hours is only the wait for new version of apps in google well i have been waiting for a week now and am starting to think that is the reason the don't want us to use beta.
