The most helpful beta testers are the people who log in for every new build, even if just for a little while to go about your normal sky activities. It's just icing on the cake if you encounter a bug and report it, or share your thoughts on a new design we're testing.

I send her the invites link the second that the invites link come out however there are some problem that she can not join the sky beta . She already download the testflight and her app continue shows that there is no test app on her phone. So i want to know are there any Chinese players (which currently in China) know whats wrong with that?

It's not about who finds a bug first, or submits the most bug reports. Or who gives the best or most feedback submissions (though all constructive feedback is deeply appreciated, regardless if positive or negative). While those things are very helpful. The most helpful beta testers are the people who log in for every new build, even if just for a little while to go about your normal sky activities. It's just icing on the cake if you encounter a bug and report it, or share your thoughts on a new design we're testing.

To those get the invite but can't download the beta, give following steps a try.

Login web version of play store, search the beta then choose to install on your phone. Then open your phone's play store see if there's anything changed.

May only works for me.

Reminder to the new beta peeps: empty IAP shop isn't a bug, you're meant to earn candles the normal way to be able to test properly. If you have things to say about features that aren't bugs he sure to put that in #beta-feedback (include your device info and app build number if its relevant). Get your leveling up in now while we have some down time so you're ready to go when the next update and things to test arrives. And don't abandon beta in 2 weeks because you got bored remember you signed up to test new features and they're always rolling out updates big and small. I was able to converse with Spanish-speaking beta moth about how things go in beta without having to open google translate. I assume the feature will be similar to gg translate in that it won’t be perfect, but good enough to keep the conversion going! Translation button should be in both iOS and Android, if I remember correctly. One thing to notice is that it will translate bad words that the filter doesn’t catch.

Lantern is no longer being tested in beta, but you can get spells in the Ark shop. There is nothing particular that needs more testing on that item, so it’s not unfair to new players that it’s not in the game anymore.

-Beta is a volunteer job. If you‘re doing your job to test, you might even spend more time putting in bug reports than you do playing the game. Be prepared.
-progress can be wiped at any time if the devs need to do so. So cosmetic collecting should not be a priority.
-beta is not worth your health and well-being. If you‘re having trouble, I suggest looking up mindfulness techniques to help calm your nervous system.
-Ktjn is a human being. I know everyone is excited, and I get it! But tracking her sleep schedule and asking when the next wave will come is not productive. Patience is a virtue!
-when you get into beta, be prepared for... exactly the same thing as live but buggier.

some FAQs today:

IAP store empty is not a bug. you're meant to earn candles like normal in order to test properly. (this is important because candles have been bugged before). besides people would spam buy things and have 10 millioin candles for no reason. purchases work so no need to test candle purchases. And days of summer event has been tested in beta so we don't need that in the IAP store either.

oops hit ender too soon: other faq is no season of prophecy has not started and will not start until AT A MINIMUM all invite waves are through. probably longer. don't ever trust message of the day in beta

people who are wearing clothes from previous seasons have been in beta a while. I've been in beta since March and have season of rhythm, enchantment, and sanctuary items.

beta and live are separate apps. you cannot link your live with beta or vice versa.

android beta still exists. it's not separate from ios beta and the #beta-discussion-android channel got turned read-only because it was not needed to be separate anymore. check the pins.

we know nothing about the new season. it's not out on beta yet.

even if you've seen a bunch of people report the same bug, it helps the devs if you report it too. your device info can help them pinpoint how it's happening. (especially if it's a bug that affects specific devices only)

we don't know when new invite waves are coming or how many there are. just sign up for a beta invites ping role and turn on notifications for #beta-signup-info channel.

for those who can't download: read the FAQ and check all the troubleshooting steps. there is a known problem with google that people can't download. if the troubleshooting steps don't work then all you can do is hope and wait unfortunately.
