@spark lance I saw one to. But those able to get it are old beta players. Now as long as the shop doesn’t work anymore is impossible to collect all those candle to make all those hearts. We are taking about 2’997 candles.m to collect 999 hearts and keep in mind that we need at least 2 candles for unlocked the gift node. I believe that in live this is more possible as long as it last forever so you would have time to collect heart, but dang.. the invisible cape is divine 😭 I wanted so bad haha

This was the same case with enchantment, where all the quests up to the purple light were available once a day, but then we had to wait like 20 something days for the orange light

@quasi pulsar I believe that even though they resemble modern cosmetics, these accessories fit perfectly in the "vacation vibe" that the creators intended and gently spice up the game's cosmetic choices. They look very nice and are also decorated in a "Sky manner". Just to reference the main game though, why doesn't anyone complain about the bell-bottom pants in the main constellations? Don't they detract from the spirit of the game? I don't disagree that they do not totally conform to the style of the other cosmetics, however all these can be interpreted in a comedic manner!

@quasi pulsar I like the new season, it's a little escape world from the cycle of rebirth and candle grinding. I have limited cosmetics to combine the new seasonal stuff with (as I am new in beta; I wish I had my repertoire from live with me ☺️), so it's difficult to see how everything will fit together, but I have a good feeling about them. The new cosmetics still have the design elements of Sky, so they are not entirely out of Sky's world. Nevertheless, I can't escape the feeling when I switch to my live game that I am playing a different game. Not sure if it's because of Sanctuary or just that I have different progress with my live character. Live game feels "heavy" compared to the freshness and light atmosphere of Sanctuary. All in all, I like it very much. A few more finishing touches and it will be amazing. Can't wait it to hit live!

I could not agree more with Seraph, honestly. The sunglasses really throw everything off for me, and if Sky is giving us sunglasses, why can’t we have normal glasses as well? :( I don’t understand. The blind community wants to rock normal glasses too!
I’m also rather sad that the jellyfish call sounds like it does.
I don’t dislike the season at all, there’s just a few odd things I don’t know if I’m a huge fan of, and it’s just my opinion I reckon.
There’s things I really really adore about this season too.

I adore the hairs. Every single one. The jellyfish, little braid, bowl cut-ish hair.. so cute, some of the best hairs...

I don't think that complaining about/expressing strong disappointment with the new cosmetics is ethical and fair to the developers who put so much effort in the game. Many have been wondering if the game is heading to a more modernized direction, and I answer that the theme of the season is such that these cosmetics actually fit in with it. Everyone can keep their opinion, but not obscure the greatness of this season with it.

i have a question about the memory collecting quests: in the areas where we trigger cutscenes that have clues to where the collectible memories are, are the red candles supposed to be lit already or should we have to light them ourselves? because right now in-game for me, they're already lit and we only have to walk near them to trigger the cutscene.

I feel like the reasons people give for the cosmetics (see too modern) are a little tongue in cheek. We already have sun hats, ear muffs, even a chair strapped to our back but sunglasses is where the line is crossed for some reason

Sunglasses and stuff fits perfectly and it's a special season.Besides Sky looks a lot like a post-apocalyptic rescue mission.It could well be an universe in 3000 AC ,(Have you wondered those pipes in Eden and GW ,they don't seem ancient at all, again these doors opening and platforms all look pretty modern tech if you consider it like that)So I don't find a reason to say that sunglasses and beach hats cannot be in Sky.

I wish I could do all treasure maps on the same day when it hits live 😭 I was so hyped for the next map and the next! Look at the Ark: if you joined later in the season you could do more light quests, no need to wait! Why spread them across 6 weeks? Apart from allowing development to finish the last transformation. Even so, let people do the 5 quests in one go, if they so wish, and finish the last big treasure hunt when the game is ready. I do not think it would take away from the enjoyment and appreciation of the new area. 🥺☺️

Progress is only deleted when they do a progress wipe, but we don't know when they'll do that again. They'll announce it beforehand. The wipes at the end of testing periods are just access wipes

The trick for the first 2 islands is to find a way above the room for example the first island
There are some steps to the left of the stone platform where you can drop into the room once you have successfully glitched. It might take a few tries but it is quite simple after you've found your spot
The second island you have to drop down from the place where you light up/activate the bell tower ( there is a little ledge to the left). You will drop into another platforn and there will be a hole which allows you to drop into the room below
The butterfly door is pretty simple. From the step that leads up to the door you drop down and glide forwards into the room. You go past the gate as well so no worries @prime surge

If you look in #lore-discussion-spoilers, TGC talks about why the capes don’t have shadows. It’s more to do with the complexity in coding and slowing the whole game down, I believe it said. Correct me if I’m wrong

It’s a treasure hunt!! You meet with the questgiver and he’ll give you an area. Head to the area and you’ll find a little surprise. ||the area he directs you to will give you a map on where to find a certain bell. Collect the bell and rebuild the bell tower!|| @runic atlas

Because it's different, same as the butterfly cape, it's not shaped like past capes. And I think the colors will look great, a white cape is 50 hearts but this one is a part white part golden yellow for an ultimate reward

@runic nebula the ranking system is probably the shepherd thing. In the friendship constellation click the symbol in the top right corner that looks like a heart. It says "a mysterious ranking of how friendly you are" or something like that. Basically if you're a shepherd you'll see a symbol above new players heads so you know who needs help. And new players see a symbol above your head so they know you're more likely to be friendly and help them out. We don't get more regular candles, only seasonal ones. The reason for extra seasonal candles is that the seasons are short to test. Regular candles can be collected outside of a season too so no need to give us more.

@drifting pumice Read the #beta-faq and #beta-announcements channels. They did an access wipe recently and then did a series of invite waves. If you didn't get in through a new invite, then you don't have access anymore. They'll be doing access wipes and invite waves after every season now, to get new active testers for new seasonal content

I found out that not getting up to platforms, and instead fly only when you reach where the spirit is right above you is sooo much more easier, coz jumping over platforms wastes soooo much of your cape power. Btw I barely made it alone with 6 wedges someone praise me.

I think the mixup might be that when the beta cape was being given out, it was given to players who had at least finished forest as I recall. So people might think that that still applies now?

the one that was oob seems to have moved to the in-bounds rock right by the wall where it was, so assuming the rest are still in the same locations they were then all 8 are still there.

Yes. You can’t get the Forest Elder hair in beta unless you are able to unlock the invisicape. But the point of beta isn’t really to complete constellations (anymore, it was in original beta when testing out various versions of the currency and Eden). In Live you don’t have to worry, because it’s very unlikely the invisicape will ever end up there.

The seasonal pink cape is a shell, and it's a tiny bit darker with a slight gradient. The shell cape also has a pink underside while the valley cape has white/cream

Testflight shows me there is no app to update. I did not delete the beta Sky so I don’t understand what’s happening. I saw the beta update’s channel and I didn’t see anything about moving the game out of testflight or something of the sort. What could be a reason this happening?
