I'm really glad I didn't because when I brought back the cyan light, this is me IRL:

and then I ran into something that... I think is a bug. I collected the green light for today's quest. Then I collected the cyan light. Then I went to the forgotten ark. Turned in the cyan light. Then after that one, tried to turn in the green light, but since I hadn't been TOLD yet to go get the green light, it didn't count. told me to go get it.

So, the discussion about the new beacon mechanism for the end of the current level was interesting to read through. Whilst I agree that the reuse of the quest lights is confusing, especially in the bells area where the same symbol is used for each bell, and the stuppa at the end of the level, it's an improvement on what always looked like a button to tap (to me). I do think something needed to be done, and perhaps by using beacons like this, it might help steer moths without the need for the terrible barriers that just interfere with play. Guide the moths when they need it, but don't limit play if they don't.

Now, one of todays quests is get the green light. That's great if you haven't already got it, or passed it on to the ARK spirit. But I have, so the repeated quest to collect it sort of doesn't make any sense. It's not like we can give it to the spirit again.

I think, as alex suggested, that it makes sense as a daily quest whilst you've not done it, but after that, and you've actually passed it on, it doesn't make sense for it to repeat. We may well be looking at something that is only happening because of the accelerated way they are pushing the testing of this seasonal content. I wonder though if by accelerating it this way, they are going to miss/introduce bugs that would be caught proplerly otherwise.

@stone thunder I think in beta the answer is yes, but don’t attempt it. Beta is purely for testing and can be wiped at any time. Progress also doesn’t transfer to live so if you accumulate 999 hearts just to get it, you just wasted your time

AppUnwrapper, I'd forgotten about turning off the rain. It's not something I've ever done deliberately. Good thought. Yes I saw it go down once, but after that it seem to stay way above the topmost goldenboy house. I had to sit on a glungus and then fly up to meet the light.
I just think that it spends too much time up high for most new players.

there are two winged light in that area: the orange light is more specifically close to the one in the high gazebo
apparently, it also descends after a while, but it's easier to catch if you just turn off the rain first

Did anyone report the bug where the quest list doesn’t show when you tap the upper left corner and then when you talk to the quest giver again, he acts like you just completed one of the quests even though you already redeemed all your candles?

Yeah it wouldn’t bother me if not for current events. I do get how it fits in with the theme of the season. But man, once you see it it’s hard to unsee it.

it varies from season to season, depending on the length. max is 6 per day, 5 if you do not have the adventure pass.
numbers on live will vary from beta as well since we have accelerated seasonal wax for testing purposes.

Isnt the point to play beta like you'd normally play and test things out? Find the bugs? If everybody just tests the easy to see new stuff they wont catch the hidden bugs. Especially if your on android. Besides. They only wiped it all ONCE and that was before launch right? Yeah we know they can again but would they really? I know a lot a vet testers that would not stick around if they got wiped back to a moth.
