I’m so overwhelmed by the outpouring love folks are sharing rn. Beta means a lot to me. I joined in the middle of Assembly testing in March 2021. I didn’t really know anything about beta testing. Much like other players, I had a passion for the live game. Bug reporting helped me learn so much more about how video games are made.

Thank you everyone here. This is so bittersweet. I joined beta during season of Aurora and although I wasn't very social Im going to miss it so much. An amazing community to test with. Will miss the wild Eden runs and kind ppl met along the way, getting bugged inside rock with krill; Laughing at the crazy stress tests and colors during Aurora encore omg (melted phone)🔥, meeting people in days of color and waiting foreverrrrr to get enough players to make it work (2024), and so much more. If you know what table drive is, think of that -- except it's also spinning very wildly and making a lot of wind/rustling noises. Happens because the position of your kid relative to how you're dragging the table causes it to continuously spin wildly

With beta vanishing tomorrow for a new era for beta. Here’s my only request for Live:

they need to absolutely bring the invisible cape to Sky Live. And portrait mode too

These things were gatekept from Live for years and with beta going on a reset, no one can really enjoy these beta exclusive features tomorrow anymore. Those must be preserved in Sky Live.

And if the invisible cape comes, a half do discount would be nice, costing 500 hearts instead of 999 hearts.

Keeping the ping system would make sense for letting people know when they've got the chance to submit an application, but the PC beta and Android ones may go unused for a while until they've sorted out how they want to handle security on those platforms.

I don't imagine it'd be too productive to keep applications open even when they're not accepting new testers, since that'd just wind up with a huge backlog that may include people who're no longer interested

We made this rule because it is the only language we can support on the server. For example, we couldn't moderate other languages as well as English. Staff also wouldn't be able to post the same announcements in other languages. It's not about favoritism, it's simply one of the limits we try to navigate in a community that speaks dozens of different languages.

Especially for this reason, it's perfectly fine to use Google translate or sites like it to translate what you want to say into English. Perfect grammar is not required. :)

Is your Return Shrine checkpoint still showing you as being in the statue field? If so, an alternate way to go through rebirth might be to put your sky kid underwater at Home and lose wings that way if you're able to. Once you're down to zero wings, try sitting at the return shrine and seeing if it proceeds as if you've given your last wing from there

I have tried portrait mode on Sky Live and it works, even though this feature is not available on Sky Live, the reason I can do this is because I use the built-in feature on my phone.

the beta is gonna become ios only until they figure out security stuff to prevent exploits/hacks and such (plus the nda) for android and pc
