Awful options in the majority of cosmetics, or using this season’s cosmetics which still only have 2 slots each, have very peculiar shapes that are harder to fit into other outfits, and again are limiting you to a small subset of cosmetics

I’m not saying to add outer dye regions to every cape. With plain capes, that would obviously be flawed. With other capes though, it’s a different story. For example, with the bloom cape you would still have the unique folded fan shape, gold embroidery, and the rose.

imo the fortune snake cape and the white ver rose cape have different vibes. The snake one gives off simple eastern festive vibes, it reminds me of the traditional paper crafts or smth and while the rose definitely gives off the royal and masquerade vibes with the gold and pleat details. All in all, I don't think they're too similar anyways so the change isn't needed imo xD

They similar but they have different vibes. Winter Ancestor cape was my first IAP iirc, and I saw the belonging cape before feast but didn't really like it. In the same way, fortune snake cape and DoL rose cape felt completely different to me, despite their similarities

Same, they're both still completely different in terms of theming. Like how I considered buying the winter ancestor cape but the fluffy edges makes me feel its a "winter" specific so I'm happy to achieve it with my existing belonging cape

im personally a huge fan of this change, it creates much more visual contrast between the rest of the cape and the gold and rose detailing. and i certainly prefer this colour over the white, considering i would rather not be blinded going into places like prairie sometimes given how bright that place is. plus, given the quests' tie-in with TLP quest dialogue from my observations (though I don't know if anything changed with that in the recent update, haven't played), the all-purple colouring actually suits those references to TLP

yeah! i understand we're coming into bloom from another very purple event (gesturing towards Love here), but the colours genuinely are better suited for the other cosmetics, especially when you pair it with the mask. don't get me wrong, the white is pretty, but i don't think it's as suiting of a colour for this year's theme as it would be elsewhere

besides, bloom is usually a bright season cosmetics-wise. it's nice to see something be changed to a darker colour. it's nice to have change. I know we're all used to the white variant and the possibilities that could be done with this, but I personally embrace the change as both something that is genuinely easier for my eyes (i was admittedly struggling to see the gold detailing with the white, even if it might seem more prominent to some) and as an interesting change to bloom overall what with this year's theme. i've already sent my feedback in about them keeping it (it's not a change i want to see go), and i'm honestly hoping they don't revert it for the reasons i've already said (lighthearted)

The og purple is better imo, it's very dark and neutral-looking. I do agree with potentially changing the colour of the top part tho, it is very monochromatic if you don't dye it

i think the rose stands out well on both, but my focus isn't on the rose when it comes to the colours standing out. it's the gold detailing that's present on a lot of the cape as well. that's my main thing: i couldn't see the gold detailing as well on the white as i can on this purple one. the red contrasts well enough between both, and that works very well for the rose, but the gold didn't. and, imo, when it comes to something like that, what's the point of having detailing on a cape if some players will not be able to fully appreciate it because it's more difficult for them to see it than others?

(i am aware that for some it was easier. i am not part of that some. i struggled more with the white than i do with the updated colour, so naturally i'm going to lean to the updated colour because it's just that much easier visually for me to pick out all the cape details)

something about the coding for tlp final quest makes it impossible for capeless players (who are otherwise able to complete other eden-quests, like revival) to complete it! its been an issue for a while but dormant as there isnt anything separate that requires tlp quest completion.
i understand that people dont care about accessibility for capeless players since its not a designed style of play, but personally the potential of tlp returning but being locked to the quest completion (which at this point is inaccessible to capeless) really saddens me. quest completion being a requirement makes sense lore wise, so i understand!

but i really hope that if this is true, tgc communicates it to the playerbase so capeless players have the time to feedback for accessibility before its too late

as someone who has a capeless account, being restricted in your choices of cosmetics is a part of the course, there's no way around it
most ts items are locked behind a wing buff, which you can techically purchase with ac from the shards, but all that's going to do is put you into the pity room indefinitely until you pick up the wing
same for the revival questline, you can't keep your capeless unless you utilize some bugs, and even that is a pretty risky endeavor
while I do think it would be neat to get sword pants on capeless, I think it's fine for the devs not to acknowledge gimmick accounts

Well roses come in a lot of different colors Yes, red (“rose”) is the color we are used to seeing but just like in the event we also have for example Yellow, Orange, White, Pink, Purple and more similar tones of roses in real life

But I think alongside the following cap increases we might need a general space increase too, based on how much we can place compared to space available. I don't think everyone will go absolutely unhinged as we have in beta but I do think some folks may opt for those higher caps and then find the space they have to work in is a little small

The hedges near the pavilion in the Little Prince area has been changed in beta. The new version looks like something copied from the Moomin maps and doesn't fit in the Sky world at all (just like the Moomin maps). Is this a.permanent change or is it for the event only?

If the developers don’t know about the bug, they cannot fix it. You have to report it in one of the bug channels. The bug will not disappear by itself, it has to be fixed by programmers, which may take a couple weeks! If you don’t report it, it may never be fixed because nobody will know about it besides you.

I've have trouble with the treasure hunt ever since it launched ^^;; I can do the daily but after completing it I can't trigger the shrines and have to go to the cafe to turn in the quests, then only the treasure hunt quest doesn't register as turned in so I don't get the 4th candle
Restarting sky shows the hunt daily as not completed and the hunt npcs are gone from their location so I can't even redo it (have sent in bug report)

not really. Beta is about testing cosmetics, new mechanics and items before they're shipped to live. Many of the beta bugs end up getting fixed and there's SOMETIMES bugs that happen in live never happened in beta because of the way beta and live are operated in completely different servers.

Especially that in beta only has 10k active testers (as far as I remember) compared to 260 million players in live.

If it's just for early access to the cosmetics then there's no point to have beta as a test environment

Essentially, we know as much as you do about bloom. The only things we have that are based on the little prince is a rose in a flower pot, the new cape is rose themed, and the bloom story centers around the little prince quests. But otherwise, we don't really have any info on whether we will get any returns on little prince items. We do have some new cosmetics too that are rose themed too, but aren't necessarily little prince related. but definitely hoping we see a return of the prince stuff though!

I think we will eventually get it fully dyeable. The dyes are still in its infancy. Perhaps they are trying to figure out ways to make more things dyeable and eventually we will get the rose cape fully dyeable!

we need three dyable areas on this cape so much at this point. the cape is lovely, and if it wasn't for the white i wouldn't skip it. i understand they want to keep the original spirit of the items alongside letting us dye them, but with this cape in particular and the divide that's happening between the white and the dark purple, even with white being the majority, is clear enough where this would be the optimum solution. both for those that enjoy the white variant, and for those of us who have enough visual problems with the white variant that the dark purple fixed

OH that's- you accidentally did one of the tricks I used to do to walk/slide with emotes. You can place any prop, equip camera, tap it on your menu, then switch to the prop you placed. The last update broke it tho, since now we can't move and do emote we have to be moving already then tap the emote we want to use. People used to do it with umbrella or instruments

doesn't necessarily have to be positive, i'm going to be honest. you can be firm about it if you wish. sometimes being firm is the correct way to go, focus on the negative that needs to be addressed rather than trying to keep it positive, which is particularly important for those of us that actually did have issues with the white. if you have an issue with it being reverted, don't try and feign positivity if you're not feeling positive about it.

just don't be rude in the feedback. that's the main thing. firmness and rudeness are not the same thing, and when sending in feedback, be sure to keep that in mind

Honestly I helped push for the white, I really do love the white color on it more but I do understand the love for the dark purple. I just wish it was fully dyable and want others to talk about that in feedback so they can truly see what could be the greatest opportunity for their work. I am glad the cape is reverted but I would also like it where everyone could dye it what color they'd want not just white and dark purple.

I can understand that but also it wouldn't make sense to have dyeable options then. Dyeing just minute details isn't really dyeing. They can make it where it can be fully dyeable but keep the spirit of the original. We can't alter their design shapes or patterns only the colors. This goes for their team as well as they could dye their clothing, keep it original or do as they please. It's not as if their work is disregarded. In fact their work is celebrated as the designs of the cape such as patterns and shapes are what truly stand out. Their colors are just representing the individual while the shapes and patterns represent the team's work and ingenuity.

a good amount of us aren't calling for every item to be fully customisable other-mmo-style. just an extra option. it's just that having that extra option, at least on certain capes, would be good both for satisfaction and accessibility.

i'm not trying to say every item should be fully customisable with no restriction. not that at all. it's just that certain capes, with the way sky is designed, would benefit players by having some more customisation options than others - again, as an accessibility thing. not to overuse the rose cape as an example, but white and shiny gold isn't an easy-to-look at option. better than white and flat yellow, but still not easy to look at, as a few of us expressed. with that, having the main portion be dyable would be good accessibility-wise for the smaller percentage of us that struggle to look at that combination without issue

That's true, however the colours also play important roles to the story and seasons. For example we can't fully dye fortune masks because there's a chance players will dye them completely black/white (no gold accents) and it is seen as bad luck in chinese culture. As well as things like stagehand remaining dark with only the rag dyeable because stagehands historically wear dark outfits. It's not just design, but colours play a huge part to Sky. While yes dyeability encourages individual expression, the story integrity is just as important and its the balance tgc can do without making sky less...sky

Like i will give an example since the Rose Cape is really hot right now. The rose cape being Dark Purple, White and gold and red trims. Now think of what would happen if someone dyed it fully purple with green or white trim with light or regular blue roses. The design is still the same, the pleating of the cape, the capelet like top part with the wonderful design trimming. We still fully appreciate the work that was put into it as those designs will never change. We just make the cape work with different outfits based on colors.
