I already found a bug lol. If you're in OG Home and get the infinite season of radiance loop of fun, then close the game and run as fast as you can to aviary. You won't make it. But once the loop finishes, run again and you'll get to aviary. Once the intro there finishes, you'll find yourself back at Home and there will be no more loop.

Quite a while ago I heard something about inactive participants of the program being taken out of it in hopes of creating more space for other testers every certain amount of time. Could someone tell me more about that/if it's actually true or not? I think it might take a while for me to get a newer device and I'm debating on opting out of the program if that's the case

Turns out I'm indeed an android tester and I'm aware even without active invites, sometimes people are able to still download the beta from the play store if there's enough spots available, hence why I was debating on it.

I love helping to find bugs along with other testers, but it's been getting quite heavy for my device, which is on the far lower end at the moment, so I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to be part of it

Not as of yet, Wes mentioned earlier that crashes can happen because of the amount of people trying to enter beta. If it’s not listed in known issues and the issue persists after waiting a while, I recommend reporting it as a bug

iOS game crash list is awfully specific I think I'm still in nest load so I'm praying when I can hop on later I avoid the crashing

On a positive note issues that relate to mobile devices crashing can usually be flagged internally and those logs help with seeing which devices and how device specific these crashes are involved in, as the team only has such a small pool of test Androids and iOS devices to lean on.
It helps a lot on iOS when you decide to share crash logs to TestFlight as well.

Kids who crashed after entering the game, did you lift too many butterflies in the last version? I found out during a discussion with my friends that kids who lifted too many butterflies would crash, but those who didn't lift any butterflies could log in normally.

Normally you don’t crash when you enter but you are going to crash if you leave your nest through the balcony so you need to click the home button in the emote menu instead

Messing around with going back to 0.27.5 changing home then re-updating back to 0.28.0 helps.
I was safe from the crash bug for a bit, by changing to nest spawn, updating to 0.28 then going back to 0.27.5 to change spawn to the original island.
Unfortunately when I tried to teleport to the miner for the event, the crash came back.
So now going to do the 0.28.0 to 0.27.5 then back to 0.28.0 to see if I can get back in

I am trying to identify the issue, and currently I have found that every time I put on my blue glasses, logging in crashes

For people who are on android and ios crashing, going to aviary and setting it as home fixes it. If not you may need somebody to choreograph it using wireframe cape to bring them aviary.

It seems that some of the costumes are the culprits of this crash? When I changed into blue glasses and the wreath hairstyle from Season of Assembly, the game would crash. Every time I logged in, the game would crash within a few seconds. I took this opportunity to quickly fly to the closet and take of these two costumes, and the game returned to normal! I logged in again and everything was normal!

I tried more than 100 times and spent nearly 5 hours... I tried various methods and this method really worked. When I changed back to these two costumes, I started to collapse again. This was verified.🤣

• Take off these costumes, the game is normal
  You may try to change the costumes quickly before the crash after logging in. I think there should be many combinations that will cause the crash. I will sort out the information I know and submit a bug-report later 🐛

For me, I don't even have time to do any of those things. As soon as the loading screen is finished, it goes straight to the cutscene for the new season. Once the cutscene is done and it's about to let me move, it crashes! 💀😤😭 Someone help!

it did that for me a couple times, but I kept trying and it eventually didn't trigger the cutscene. I was able to escape to forest and return home to get the cutscene out of the way

I managed to get on finally and had a very stable game time. Played with 4 other people and we had no server issues. We did notice that the plants instanced in different areas for each of us in the areas of Forest 🌳. Sometimes we could get the color wax even if we couldn’t see the plant if our friend had burned it but need to test more to make sure that really happened. Anyone else playing with a group experience that?

1 - through farming colored darkness plants on the realms (prairie and forest for now), you burn them, then you use the butterfly emote to catch the colored butterflies

It depends - are you crashing when logging in? Or what do you mean with you can’t log in?

If TestFlight asks you to redeem a code for example, then you might have to check if you are still logged in with the ICloud that is registered to beta.

If you are logged in with the correct account, but you don’t see the app anymore in TestFlight, then that might mean you are kicked from the program and will have to wait for another invite wave!

Ok so beta still isn't letting me get past the loading screen after showing me the season guide at the door....it tries to appear me at home but it's a black screen and instead of the game crashing now, it just goes to black screen, and than just replays the cutscene

I have this bug too. It occurred when I teleported to my friend in Aviary. And no, it resets your position too quickly to escape.

At least I've tried to escape it but it seems to occur anytime you teleport to Aviary by the Realm Portals. For me it did this as I was cleansing the dye plants from Forest for the tutorial. When I tried to go back to Aviary Village, it put me back at Forest before the first gate but it didn't go black and reset my position though.

The iOS crashing issue is also an issue on my Android.

I was fine until I started the second Radiance quest honestly, and now I crash when I load in home. Maybe if I change my starting point that'll help? Gonna test that.

Not gonna make yet another bug report about it, but I'm also having the crash immediately on login bug (android) and would like #beta-known-issues to recognize this is NOT iOS exclusive

Also, attempting to teleport out of home to forest during the few seconds of time I could move before the new season cutscene started only made the crash happen earlier
