Agree 100%. The sky playerbase may be largely a pretty sweet group of people, unfortunately there are still bad eggs in the community. It is safest to be able to get those people away from you if they have harmed you.

let me clarify: right now, if blocking stays the way it is, you should know in some way, for the reasons i have explained. you'll have spots in your limited constellations that are taken up by people who are not interested in staying in contact with you.
however, if blocking were to be improved, i am not advocating for notifications.
but again.
every single other social platform gives you information on you being blocked.

but also, how are you finding that out right now? i only found out i was blocked (by a friend who thought i was inactive) when he unblocked me, in "person", after stumbling upon each other.

Blocking and unfriending should be anonymous for privacy and safety reasons, that should take priority. People are not entitled to be notified if you're cutting them off, if you really want to them to know, you can tell them in person

I understand your perspective, since being blocked doesn't necessarily mean you earned it. Being blocked in live it used as a way to clean out inactive friends or perhaps players you only interacted once with and never again. It makes it hard for those who are active but get blocked due to low interactions.

I still personally disagree. I have unfortunately ran into plenty of not so great people that have entered my block list. I don't want them knowing anything about being blocked. I think it's the safest because it feels a bit weird to be digging into whether your blocked or not. It could also lead others to be upset on the other side, and not knowing your blocked can help you not feel upset.

guys, idk how else to phrase this. i keep repeating myself.
i am not oblivious to people being toxic. i'm not 5 years old.
that's why i'm saying blocking should be more drastic, and a stark contrast to simply unfriending someone.
ironically, in this new feature it is already kind of implied, since unfriending will keep the opportunity to rekindle the constellation - which you wouldn't do with toxic people that you want to cut out.

i did already backtrack on calling it a "notification" when i was talking about simply being informed (f.e. a pop-up when you try to light their daily") that you were unfriended.

which, AGAIN, is coming from the perspective of what the feature could be, in contrast to blocking.

this unfriending feature the way that it is, will be used only one way, and that is what is upsetting because it does NOT address another big issue, which is cluttered friendship constellations; due to:

1. people who are AWOL (without you knowing because you can't actually see their "last online"),
2. to people who have blocked you ages ago, because you were AWOL for a while
3. people think you're AWOL

that is why you should know about people unfriending you, so you have the opportunity to make room in your constellation.
my constellation is packed and it is incredibly hard to keep track.
this would be a MASSIVE help to clean up and meet new players.

and again, i did leave this feedback weeks ago. i just feel like i'm being massively misunderstood here and it's honestly kind of upsetting.

If sky was on your googleplay / ios app store, you only had issues playing with it recently then please file a bug report. If sky is not optimised in your googleplay / ios app store from the beginning, it wouldn't be fair to the devs side since it wasn't supported in the beginning. However, you still can leave a feedback on the device to see if the dev would give support on this.

It works pretty well (for me on iOS) and is still an option in beta but there are some bugs. For example if you open a friend tree, the emotes above hug are cut off and there’s no way to scroll to reach them. I think it’s not being scrapped since it was added for androids more recently I think

1. free items in the shop will be listed as free when there are items to get, when there are no items, the shop is empty.
2. beta version of sky is an early access version that allows players to test upcoming functions and events that will eventually come to live
3. candles are not usually necessary as the devs tend to lower prices for items to allow for better testing, but things like traveling spirits and base game constellations still require candles and hearts. You can get these by gathering them in game or sometimes from in app purchases. Currently there is no option to buy just candle packs from the item shop.
4. There's not really rules, just the regular game ToS and making sure that you submit bug reports for anything you find.

I checked the shop but since it's the same rotation of live the items I mentioned so far weren't available and I didn't see another way to purchase more of them, but I also did leave feedback because I think that whilst it's nice to add the option of buying 1 vs many, it would also suck if these caps are placed on items we already own - to me if we've bought X item and it could be placed 2+ times then that should remain and the option to then buy more if possible should be included in the shop in another way rather than capping what we already "own" so to speak

So the pillow thing is now you can only place one of each it seems, same with the flat shelves, standing plant, and some other things that I don't remember now

Like once you have one placed the prop is greyed out and if you remove it to place again it shows as 1 in the corner which is sad because they were bought as a bundle originally (I'm less peeved about this in beta but it sucks as prospect in live where currency and time mean more)

Also to clarify I don't know about the feast pillow I don't think I own it in beta to test, but I'll do a proper inventory check as much as I can soon and I'd suggest others to test too if they're interested

Yeahh I would like to hear more clarification about that, since the limits seemed to be about bundle props which is weird bc the only things available in nesting shop are bundles currently, so it could be a partial testing but alas it unintended deleted the props

I’m having too much fun with the spirit hauntings lol, it’s so silly. Because the game now tells you how many spirits are left to find in the realms, I think it’ll help new players a ton!

However, I’m still kind of in the middle about this. Sky to me was always a game where I was so excited to find out things on my own, how many spirits, where they were,… I guess because there’s just so much to do now for new players, this is definitely beneficial. I’m still happy I got to explore and find out things on my own though, without a clear game narrative

There is a chair in the hallway of the flooded house. I jumped onto it, but jumped right through the wall behind it and was in a long hall with a white doorway. Through that door is a dark ocean and you can see the lighthouse light far away, it took awhile to swim to it and sometimes I lost it but just keep swimming until you see it again.

Why are plants being put over the old spirits now? I loved being able to see them as I roamed around, and having plants over them now makes them look moldy. Along with that; it doesn't fix how some spirits ask if you want to do the mission, whereas others automatically start their mission if you have your candle in your hand.

i've been a beta tester for pc since the first keys were released, but recently i've barely been playing in both live and beta (with the beta being especially unplayed). and if you've seen any of my bug reports in the beta bug report channel, it would be easy to see why.
the thing is, should i keep the games (beta and live) in my steam library? i know that i might lose access to the beta if i'm not active in it, but still, it would be nice to still play it if i do decide to return.
