I still have my stone crab trophy in beta it is accessible in shared spaces/nest.

I don’t know what will happen in live but the part about trophies was edited out of the 0.26.0 patch notes about the tournament.

It used to say:
“At the end of the event, everyone will receive a one-of-a-kind trophy to commemorate the event, which can be used to decorate your Nest and Shared Spaces!”

But it is now deleted

The event notes about the tournament itself are very vague…

I didn't see anything about it in the live server announcement, I can still use them in the beta server, and I also looked into the announcement for this event on the NetEase server, they didn't mention them either.

The trophies were not really in line with what the team had in mind for the event so they were removed for live. That is why the communications are not mentioning them. Sometimes there are some BETA elements that don't make it to live. At least you got to have a nest crab for a bit!

White candles are also better to hold if you’re the “passenger” because holding out a red candle slows the Uber down I feel

Oh yeah so if you hold red candle as a passenger at least on piggy it has a magnetic effect on the lead red candle and then y'all just stand there not burning anything I have been given wrong on many occasion when I was a moth still learning and trying to help

I don't think hand holding is quite as bad, but I have noticed if you're hand holding and you pull out a candle sometimes it's just not worth it cause you're too far away from the thing that needs burned

Oh so it seems interacting with the dismiss button causes the candle to leave and since unlocking friendship only costs 1 candle there's no way to cheese out of the pop up like there is for using friend nodes that cost more than 1

I don't even know what hairs give me those vibes but even with duets the bun hair is the same feeling... I wish we could get an elegant, clean-cut looking masc leaning hair, but I am SO obsessed with the moon festival hair and the way the bangs are styled.... I just feels ton of hairs recently have been hit after hit for me of great.

Usually yeah, I’m guessing it’ll be some type of performance from the duo but we haven’t had any news yet about it. The season could always get extended or we might test the quest after the season ends, stranger things have happened in beta so we just gotta wait and see

Also season related beta stuff is best kept in #beta-season-test-chat so we don’t get muddled but since it’s quiet at the moment it’s okay!

No, you don't receive your currency back. But if you re-friend the person, then all the friendship interactions will still be unlocked! So you won't have to spend currency again for things like chat, high five, carry, bearhug, etc.

Idk I like being able to know a player is someone I've blocked without lighting them up and realising they're x person so I can avoid having to interact with them/leave the game if they make me uncomfortable, I don't want a blocked feature that makes them a stranger in the way that I'd come across them again randomly with no knowledge of who they are, a block feature that prevents being able to exist in the same space would be nice but not good for mutual friends etc.

• what happens with relogging?
• what if one friend blocks, one unfriends?
• can the remover still interact with the removed friend even after relogging?
• for how long can the removed friend interact with the remover when they’re in the same server / instance?

The unfriending feature does really seem serious, and I hope by its last iteration that it doesn’t necessarily come across as “something new and exciting to check out” when it hits live. Because it definitely feels a lot more definitive, a lot more serious and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

But I also think this feature can help a lot for players. A good friendship can’t be guaranteed and this is crucial for player safety - I hope with this, the matchmaking gets tweaked too. It happens more than often that we run into blocked players, so I hope that’s not a worry anymore with unfriending

I do think the key thing with the unfriend feature is it isn't necessarily a delete friend mechanic, more so it removes them from your constellation but still allows you to potentially meet in future and as they say rekindle the friendship, whereas the block feature is the one that has more finality if you choose to never unblock them - the main drawback of that has always been that mutual friends can become gateways for blocked players to get to you still

In the traditional blocking system, you could block someone you knew, and that was it. However, you could always unblock them anytime and mend the friendship you had along the way, as long as they didn’t block you. Blocking didn’t necessarily mean the end of the relationship.

On the other hand, if you unfriended someone, it was final. Once unfriended, rekindling the friendship would be challenging because you wouldn’t be able to find that person again easily. The primary purpose of Sky was to socialize and collect cosmetics.

There’s a certain feeling of regret that can come after adding someone and then getting to know them better. This process of accepting and understanding others is what makes Sky so sociable and ensures that the experience never really ends.

But with that unfriending somone throws that out the window. And now the judgment on our own charater to always have the "they are so weird" unfriending them and nit giving them the chance could ruin that enjoyment of sky

It is debatable, for example, it is necessary to take precautions against malicious people, but on the other hand, deleting the game also works in clearing the people who have been on my list for years, because those people have not been playing for 4 years.

for the last part, blocking and unfriending people doesn't always be done without any thoughts and decisions. If one doesn't want anything to do with a friend who's either inactive or troublesome for them, they would accept it as final decision (or they can block if they want it to be temporary)

Differences between block and delete

🚫

• The person who blocked their friend can spot them in the same realm as a icon from afar
• In Live version, both ends can see this icon, whether you were blocked or you're the one who blocked your friend. This wasn't the case right now, only I (the person who blocked my alt) could see this not sure whether is a bug or intentional for more privacy
• Players can see cape silhouettes on both ends, unless both players block each other

🗑️

• After deleting the friend (one end only), you can see their full name if both players are in the same realm
• No cape silhouette
• If the person who deleted their friend goes to a different realm and returns to the original point, the deleted friend has a "light" 🔥 icon like a complete stranger, once you pull out the candle; the 🗑️ icon appears again

🔍 Observations

After both my alt and I deleted each other it was extremely hard to server merge (we tried for 12mins)

🐛 Bug

When both players delete each other and exchange SkyCodes, their star duplicates in the constellation (as in two friends with the same name), block-unblock doesn't solve this issue

Bit late to chat but definitely report the comments in game so individual cases can be flagged, but you can also share concerns with devs in either #live-feedback if that's where you're seeing bad comments or #beta-feedback if it's in beta, you should be able to show screenshots and devs might reach out for further information from you in DMs, but it's absolutely so helpful for them to hear from you guys especially about languages that might not be filtering correctly in game as they're probably still working on training the system to recognise inappropriate words in lots of different languages that our global sky family speak!

Also worth mentioning if there's any words getting filtered that aren't considered inappropriate, those may be false positive so it's also super helpful to leave feedback on those too!
