Okay so I restarted my app after bug reporting and the heart appeared and it let me claim it just fine

There is a bug with hearts. If you exit and go back in, it sometimes corrects it. It’s doing this on live as well.

I’m sorry. It’s in the bud reports, so hopefully it will resolve soon. Keep the count of your hearts in mind as well. It said it was adding to the count later at times.

It's interesting that they'll appear in avatar state for players who haven't relived them yet, I haven't had a chance to check yet but does that stop people from completing the quests of those particular spirits or is it more of just a prompt of introducing this unknown spirit to newer players?

I just went and checked and it’s blue for me too even though I have that spirit already. Wasn’t able to see what their quest was (so I had to go to old home to grab it). But after completing, I was able to collect my candle from them. Forgot to take pics (it’s early and I’m out of coffee 😭) but will still bug report.

Hello beta-sky, I'm a random person from Live with a random question. I am trying to figure out if the purple tea table/Remembrance tea table only working under very specific criteria* is a glitch or intentional on TGC's part. I plan on buying the picnic table depending on the answer.

The reason I wonder if it is intentional is that on TGCs blog post for the Days of Bloom event they do say that the pink tea table will only work when the teacups are empty. But they don't say the same about the purple teaset?? And also that "only works after drinking" trait for the pink table only seemed to appear in-game like...7 days after the days of bloom event began???

I learned that this weird thing happened with those items and other teatables in beta. Has TGC fixed that in beta, indicated it's an intentional feature, or anything of the sort?

I haven't received any response from support and as the weekend is coming up, I doubt I will get an answer before Days of Blooms ends, lol.

Anyways tl;dr: was the tea table chat props being weird a glitch or intentional on TGC's part?
*The criteria is: all seats are filled and everyone's teacups are empty from drinking multiple times.

It took me a little while but it seems that the purple tea table also does not work to chat when you first place it in the current beta build. I assume it will work after finishing tea… the picnic table works immediately.
Very messed up of them if intentional to change the chat mechanism now when people have spent a lot of money on these items during previous years. Maybe people want to chat while they sip tea.
So if you don’t like the feature of not being able to chat until finishing tea the purple tea table seems to have that feature so probably you shouldn’t buy it but I don’t know if it’s a bug. I assume if it’s in the blog post then it’s not a bug

Can confirm it takes a bit of time. I'm not sure if there's specific triggers but I've noticed it does take some time for chat to work. Not sure whether it's a bug or a new feature either!

Yes the purple tea table and Remembrance tea tables reliably work after all the seats are filled and everyone has fully drunk their tea. The same goes for the Pink Bloom Table.

In practice, basically randoms cannot figure out they need to drink the tea and just honk in frustration. Not to mention the "all seats filled" requirement is just...not ideal.

But on TGC's blog they basically indicate that trait only for the Pink Bloom Table. The description for the Purple Bloom Table is left empty.

I already own the Purple Bloom table, but I will (bitterly) buy the picnic table before the event is up if this is a new intended feature. I strongly dislike how the chairs look on the skykids backs, and I gain a massive amount of enjoyment from the chat props in this game.

From what I gathered through searching beta posts, it looks like the Cinnamaroll teatable and a Nesting season tea table had the same glitch/traits at some point? I guess that's still a thing in beta as well?

Journey was released for the PS3 back then when pcs were much less powerful while sky is on PS4/5 in 2023. Folks rather invest in a good pc for a wider option of games instead of a dedicated gaming console with limited titles. Journey has also been on steam for a good while now.

the bed does say 2 but I can't remember if it's bugged and you can only place 1 - if you've witnessed anything of the season testing down here you'll know your only limit is your imagination cause you can build just about anything if you fiddle around with everything long enough!
