Honestly it can take however long is needed. Generally events do occur around the same time they did in previous years, but sometimes they move em around a lot. example DoC that one year they had to delay it till July. I'm unsure when Cinnamoroll will come out, but it'll be after live at least gets the 25.0 patch since we are testing it now

You have the press the lever at sunset, not just be inside it for 30 sadly. It also will reset to 0 if you log off. Aviary has certain sunset times so you have to visit at that time

aviary sunset right now is at the 40 minute mark of every hour and lasts for 10 minutes

While the sunset is happening, just go up to your nest, out of your nest, then back up to your nest. It shouldn't take that long to complete it within the 10 min time frame.

yep, you can save a glitched outfit, and even use it to glitch the shoes on in the first place
just save the shoeless fit on the minifig, wear the shoes you want, and copy the figurine's outfit
it will overwrite everything but the shoe slot

it would take quite a while for a new player to learn what a season even is, let alone that the hearts they get after completing those specific quests are free
I mean, look at the deer, that one required you to get to the vault to do anything
before that, they will be presented with a whole bunch of base game trees where they are expected to already have hearts to spend on new hair / cape / etc
I don't think it's outrageous for a tutorial quest line to give a player something to work with, aside from the 3 candles they are given at the start

also don't you get a candle for every spirit you relive squints in the basegame realms

Hmm I can see the potential necessity for a tutorial season like aviary to have free hearts, it would be a nice intro bonus I guess since they're essentially having to die and then relive a bunch of seasonal stuff elsewhere to then come back and pay for a heart for the later on quests so the work is still being done

but I do think it's a bit much to hope for all season hearts to be free, I understand why some people want that of course, but I did a quick estimated calculation of like if there's 20 seasons (not including current season) and each have an average of 5 quests you could get up to 100 hearts (again heavily estimated I know not all quests give hearts) from them which seems a lot to get within the first few days or so of playing

I guess maybe from feedback they've been trying to give a way for ending seasons to have their hearts free for the duration of the following season so then technically moths have two seasons where they can actively get free hearts from, if they added aviary to that it would be nice cause then it's 3 seasons worth of hearts....

I wonder how much has already been discussed by the team, because this definitely isn't the first time players have requested changes like this

I just look at the shared creation heart change and think that is a good way to get hearts because it requires the player to engage with the community which is what the game wants you to do

sure, we all kinda brushed them off cause most of us are seasoned vets at this point, with all of those quest lines completed, but like
when I was a moth, the dreams storyline alone took me two days, cause I was 1) confused 2) somewhat overwhelmed and 3) took breaks
and it would be nice to get something for free after those 2 days of work, aside from the satisfaction of unlocking the cape preview shop

well the ticket amount was arbitrary to begin with because it was mostly like
you had to participate for a certain percentage of the event to get the cosmetics
they've since iterated on that from player feedback and reduced EC from being the random number of 11 or 8 collected daily to 5 (which is way more consistent and easier to remember for the playerbase)

so likely the new items will be about the same prices we've seen show up as of late, but the 2023 items no one knows what will happen in the second year of item return
that was a question that was tossed around a lot when EC was first introduced and no answer was given so it really is a solid 🧇 moment

and if beta players were already upset about the pricing of nesting workshop props then adding candle cost items (which would have definitely inflated by a lot by now) then having them return to the high prices they were before (if not higher) would make people more upset

I hope that with the upcoming season that the aviary walls, especially around the belltower can get some grafiti/murals like on the forgottan ark or in the prophecy caves. It is a very small addition but i think it would really make the more barren areas of the aviary look alot more lively.

For example it can even show past seasons. A cool upside of this is that it can be updated if new seasons come out. Like if a new season starts a mural can be added to the walls 🙂 What do you think?

I’m honestly so surprised and disappointed of the prices of the props for next season, without any increase in our in game currency earning potential. After we have long quests with no rewards besides having to pay months worth of saving. It feels like tgc is saying they could not care less about its players. I really hope it’s changed before live. This seems to be the start of some major Dark Patterns and it’s breaking my heart. Yes I have written feedback that seems to be ignored.

Interacting with the event area, including collecting the tickets, is what needed to be tested to look for bugs. If I’m not mistaken, we are able to collect the spells every day though. So you can stock up on those.

When you install TestFlight it should know your a Sky Beta tester if your logged in and then let you reinstall the Sky beta app.

My understanding is that if you're completely alone, the text won't turn red, and that that's pretty much always how it's worked, but we've made some tweaks to the chat filter recently, so it never hurts to flag this stuff

Then you gotta taunt him to come out and grab someone. while he's out, you place a prop like a plushie. and then voila, next time he comes out he looks like a boat, a crab, a manta, a table, etc.

i think it was changed in one of the last iterations before 0.24.5 went to Live, if it’s that you stagger and limp at 20 wings or less and crawl when you are at 10 wings or less. unless there’s new unmentioned changes

Its nice. I personally found it a lot easier to get through. I hated the crawling before

We tweaked some damage values, e.g. making it so you have a sort of 'invincibility grace period' after getting walloped by a red rock before you can get slapped again
But the limping/crawling at low winglight levels was the main adjustment, and that hasn't changed much.

there were/still are a lot of complaints that there are too many stray rock hits, masks break too quickly, there are too many particles past the sand reducing visibility. so i thought that it may not have happened yet if rocks are falling at a reduced pace after all. but the players only ignore the speed of rocks, they got their i-frames between hits back or extended(?)

The prices have changed since they were all available in the shop. Newer game versions now limit how many pieces you can see in the store at a given time, due to the furniture rotating out. We don’t know all of the new prices, but generally they have either stayed the same or become more expensive.
