If you want a more concise opinion, aviary is too big and empty, and has nothing to do in it. It has some useful shortcuts, but overall it's too spread out and inefficient as a home. And especially as a social hub. If they haven't put events in there most people wouldn't go there, like with most seasonal areas

Lately I haven’t cared much about game cosmetics. Overall I find them fine. I have plenty in my closet, there is always going to be more available. Some I’ll like, others I probably won’t wear much. It’s the fact TGC is promoting player engagement, this is important. The Feast race prop being igc (and 150 candles is very fair pricing imo). The Dragon Train during Fortune. Crab costume during Mischief ( although that was somewhat limited, no burning candles etc etc). I had so much fun last night interacting with strangers as Dragon Train. Going all around the realms. This to me is what is important in Sky.

One thing that must be addressed with Aviary is increasing the number of players that can join in the same server without the use of festival tech. Maybe increasing it to 15to20 players. That way mlre friends can be together and can be more interactive.

Best social hubs are still prairie and gw lobby. They have some empty space next to closets, which is good for easy access to props and all, helps with hanging out with people, but they also have some terrain and elevation, to observe from a distance or if you want some privacy. Aviary just feels too smooth and spread out

Still, it's up to how people interpret DoL is about, and maybe the spirits rotation is enough to convey different of love. I don't think a lot of people will go near the flowers anyway.

Either way regardless of them being confirmed siblings. Will make things weird. That’s just the nature of fandom and people are gross. We can’t just ignore family love because people make it werid- I think it was a great way to show that they’re showing more platonic forms of love. Heck the flight spirit for today doesn’t even have anyone else with them and just summons birds which shows a love for birds which people with pets can understand.

Also edit, in my opinion they aren’t doing anything that ACTUALLY implies a romantic relationship.
They’re just playing around and hugging. If you think that as romantic I question your sense of romance.

Yes i am referring to their lesser-khown names rather than their in-game spirits name, and while they have been seen in Aviary as a couple they already made cameos hinting that like in blushing prospector memory we can see the cowherd lending her the umbrella and in the July bird bridge event as well

They're not discuss much what i meant, plus idek if the event is from netease or tgc but it's still very small scale with no announcements or anythg

In live, you're able to turn while you're jumping, which makes movement really smooth and fluid. In beta, you can't turn while jumping at all, it's just jumping in a straight direction

We are not testing the new season yet. Revival ended in beta and now we are in no season currently and only days of events.

Many people who unfortunately do leaks/hacks will show pictures of unreleased content that not even testers have, but post it on social media saying it's beta content, so people wont report them. In reality, it is illegally obtained if not faked entirely.

Hmm, Revival IGC ult hair isn’t in Live yet which means it’s still being tested in beta and subject to change. Whether it’s a month away from release or a day, if it’s in testing it doesn’t matter.

Aurora ult pants, that was made clear from the beginning that the colour was not the intended one and would change over time.

Obligatory mention as well but sending feedback doesn’t mean TGC has to implement all the feedback.

That’s also not true: sending in beta feedback is important because it’s a way to let TGC know how the game makes you feel.

Theres an article linked in the #beta-feedback, but this is usually what we need to focus on when giving feedback: #beta-discussion message (by Joshi).

Beta feedback is essential and it is needed because we help make the game a little better and help shape it in some way too. TGC truly reads ALL feedback.

The only thing to keep in mind is that sending in “hey I feel X about Y, so I want Z” doesn’t ensure 100% that itll happen that way. And this has many reasons: some are pinned in the channels here (tech related), but others are simply “we don’t all think the same”

And does anyone find it kind of annoying that if you set aviary as home you spawn at entrance of village instead of at home constellation pad? Even if aviary had a forced night mode I'd probably still keep original home as set home because I've found running to constellation pad is a chore.

It's a case by case basis. In my opinion, festival tech works best if it enhances the gameplay.

The temporary events, i don't care that much about. So few people will do them, that it's not an issue. The three big places where festival tech is used is Aurora, Passage, and Aviary.

Aurora was a great implementation of festival tech, but I think Passage justified it more. Aurora's festival tech was more about surprise and spectacle, while in the Passage quests you can do the Sky equivalent of a raid boss, which is really cool to me.

Aviary is far more difficult to talk about. It's already quite crowded, and festival tech is not the best for a social hub. I would hope they would not include that here

These are just 5 of the biggest concerns of mine right now, not in order of course, but there's a lot more I know people also have concerns over.

But a new player might not even want to finish Revival quests to access the current event and/or may not even be aware of it being a requirement. There is already one requirement of reaching a certain realm, if I'm not mistaken, right? So then, if a new player didn't have access to Discord or any social media, what do you think that the new player will do, then?

(I have to admit, as a moth it’s a little difficult because you have no friends. I didn’t have my first friend till wasteland😭 so when you need hearts you just don’t have them)

I’d say it’s difficult because of a lack of resources when you start. When you begin the cheapest items (like instruments, capes, etc.) cost hearts and it’s not an automatic/easy thing to get in other games because it requires other people 99% of the time (unless u do that survey thing or whatever in forest). when I had originally downloaded sky, I had a similar experience to others where I saw the lack of resources I had and just kinda got burnt out by how difficult it can be to get hearts as a moth. (The game also really doesn’t explain it well.)

I don’t think it’s a matter of simply not liking the game. I liked sky when I first joined but the immediate lack of context/difficulty in gaining hearts made it difficult to understand. Theres also not really an emphasis on how important certain things are (I skipped literally EVERY spirit when I played for the first time!😭⁉️)

I have feedbacked it. It starts to get frustrating feeling like nothing will change though as sometimes TGC feels set in Ii insisting on it.

So many times people have asked for festiv tech to stop showing up as frequently and it gets injected into events that it feels entirely unnecessary. Now I'm concerned about fortune and love not showing in original home and did feedback it but I don't have high hopes just from experience unfortunately. I want some indication of events to show in home... Or a teleport to them from there or any decorations to be here

It's ad nauseam to me. Imo, it didn't need to be in passage, didn't need to be in mischief, and doesn't need to be in aviary since there's so many spirits there.

Even if they invested so much time, what is the point of putting it everywhere. It will feel less special and might make some players fed up with it. I liked it in aurora and bloom, but other stuff has just felt like I'm sick of seeing it.

The Memorial Area in both beta and Live is a place in the Starlight Desert (far away, you have to cross the windy place) where you can leave a message boat. Serene and gentle area to commemorate someone, to thank, to pay a tribute to a loved one

• 4 placed around the hub/social space
• 2 from interacting with spirits

ive only found one coin after hugging the frantic stagehand, but even with high fiving the rocker (forgot their name) no event ticket spawned

I interacted with each of the spirits twice and nada. 😭

You only get to spawn a ticket (which again, equals two) by interacting with either one of the spirits, not all of them 😉
