The cutscene is in “daylight” which is similar to the daylight gate of Eden.

The reason why the cutscene model is in the respective realms is because the cutscene takes place in the realms. It’s more of a gamedev issue than anything else tbh?

It doesn’t make the player think that this Eden gate is at another location, especially since the new player will see the changes to the Eden gate at aviary or home. It just looks like aviary or home

a lot of people enjoy the new look too, everyone has different tastes but it's more common to speak out if you have a negative opinion on something, that doesn't mean it's a universally disliked change though I personally prefer the cape now!

I think it’s important to remember that it’s better to not get attached to certain things in beta, especially when it’s about cosmetics because nothing is final until it hits Live.

Something being “ugly” is very relative - something might be “ugly” to you, but great to someone else. Regardless it’s highly encouraged to send your thoughts in #beta-feedback

Again, that’s not really something they ‘nerfed’. The opposite actually: the remembrance ult had no recharge features but partly because player feedback, the recharge feature got added.

It’s because you said that you didn’t understand the changes, and that nothing happens even if people argue, that I gave a little bit more information! That doesn’t mean your opinion is invalid or doesn’t belong here - there are things I don’t like as much too.

It is still important to remember that a discussion in this channel absolutely doesn’t reflect what’s being sent in feedback and a good example of this is the “cancel spell” button that was briefly moved to the “menu” instead of on the screen. Chat loved it, feedback didn’t. It changed

I also just want daily quests where we get hearts. I know they're supposed to be from friends but spirits are our friends so if we could get daily quests specifically helping out spirits and getting a heart per day in return-- that would be nice.

I think they need to introduce weekly quests that reset together with Eden, they would be a bit "harder" and players would have the whole week to do them...

Maybe something like "Collect 40 candles" "Complete Fire/Water/etc Trial" "Visit grandma/geyser/turtle 3 times" "Relive 7 spirits"

And their rewards could be hearts and/or ascended candles. I don't think getting 5 hearts a week would break the game's economy or the social interactions (let's be honest most people with tons of hearts just did mindless trading or other accounts), if anything it'd be an incentive for players to do different things in game

I feel like they had plans to make it as large and expansive as Journey but overtime it just became a open world game with basic level design and way too many cosmetics. Like for a game with an excessive amount of cosmetics, I think they should be producing a line of Dolls by Mattel at this point

Most of the changes was due to it being natively developed to mobile, during LA test, people had been saying how it's been buggy due to performance issues on mobile phones at that time. (Tbh if it wasn't developed for mobile, it wouldn't be very accessible as it is)

We've noticed with the latest seasons being more detailed and expansive (ie Prairie Peaks) and all the small details within the stores in Aviary, so there's a hope that they would improve upon the realms.

I love the lighting change in the forest temple end right now it's so pretty

You’ll need to have completed the Season of Dreams questline fully, then you’ll unlock the cape shop
If you already have the questline finished, you’ll simply have to free the Dreams Guide from her stone cage thingy, talk to her, then return to the Hopeful Steward to complete the quest

It’s extremely interesting to see Sky’s atmospheric quality improve drastically each season

First there was the old Home, which just used the real time

Then Shattering had “evil” versions of each area

And then Passage continued, making night versions of different areas

Moments had a 4-part cycle, and now Aviary has a 6-part cycle, so I think they’re adding a lot more dynamism to the world of Sky

Im on android and got the update later on as well. Do you go in 'check for updates' section on the app store? cuz sometimes for me it doesn't show it there ! I have to go find the app itself, press on it and only then i can update beta

Hey everyone--unfortunately we're going to have to reschedule the test
We have a fix for the bug blocking the meditation circle from appearing, but we won't be able to get the fix in before the playtest was originally planned to start.

We're hoping to have it just a little bit later in the day--I'll keep you updated once that gets figured out. Thanks for the heads up that this bug was in the build!
