I do like the goggles but they tend to look silly with some outfits so either people have to change up their whole outfit or just deal with the bloom..

but right now the goggles are really the only way to reduce the bloom 😭 and bloom has only been getting worse

my friend found out today that if you wear the turn on the bloom filter from the goggles, you can see clearly underwater. the filter is so useful but you have to pay 60 candles to get it
and even then you have to actually wear the goggles :/

Tbh I don’t like the way the goggles look So it’s a toss between functionality and aesthetics for me. But now I they add a brightness/bloom toggle, the goggles would just be a cosmetic

when I finally got the feast goggles in beta the first thing I did was take them to do a video comparison of the bloom changes between realms to feedback
because I vividly remember when the filter was first added, vault had the same bloom nuke feature that it does in hidden forest where the gradient just does not exist it is a CLEAN wax streak line no bloom at all but now it's like well that doesn't do much

1. view final memory
2. it summons the staff with countdown
3. you wait until it finishes and the final season mega inclusive cutscene will play
4. It lasts about 15 minutes

what happens:

• you're forced to sit???
• manta appears and flies out
• island music starts playing
• spirits walk out of their huts and come to the end portal area
• you hit play buttons on the fireworks boxes to launch them
• one big boom by steward in the end
• tadaaa finish

Keep in mind we didn’t need to do aaaaaall the quests. Like imagine just doing all the quests from 0, reliving all those memories, gathering all that new knowledge of Sky while rebuilding the lost village (Aviary).

Like the player will work soooo hard towards making the Aviary a home, and then at the end we see Steward happy, with all the guides in a fireworks show (fireworks was btw also in the old aviary!)

so we spend however long that takes to collect fireworks (because the boxes at the constellation pad have been slowly filling up over time)
then the enchant quest comes (quest 9) and that's when it builds up to the finale and it's like a long term event/season crossover to get it to happen
because we've been collecting fireworks for the finale

we'll likely see aviary slowly evolve over time since it's not complete at this stage

the whole construction vibe with things being barred off reminds me a lot of animal crossing when you build new facilities and it's covered by the construction tarp and you hear the banging going on

I would like it if the final quest was more like the first quests where we do something around the town instead of for a resident. Like setting up for a festival or something, this way the guide can get their clothes in a reasonable way and have some of the more exiting features from earlier in the beta lifecycle to returning meaningfully

And then have more season quests quests unlocked as optional parts of aviary to liven up the village after the season of revival quests are completed

Hm, well we are all free to have opinions, but imo it can be many ways to revive the village or the past seasons without actually making past seasons as a requirement to complete the quest so people who had already done the quests still have some activities to do, because the first three quests it was related with the lights we have as a sky kid, or our ability to help spirits there, not something relating to other seasons. It was a story, it shows the spirits emotions.

And the remaining of other quests felt like, just, kind of a determiner whether or not we play for long, whether or not we have completed this season.

If this is the new tutorial for players, they get introduced to the fundamentals:

• social spells
• closets & hairstyles (pointing candlemaker)
• the realms
• Eden and rebirth (the story doesn’t stop at Eden!)
• more stories to sky: Dreams, Windpaths, the camera, harmony hall (you can skate, have shortcuts, take pictures and play music)
• celebration!

I think it’s pretty cute, it’s so different to what we are used to, but I can really tell they’ve worked hard on our suggestions too (day & night cycle, old guides, interactive spirits, hidden places for shared spaces, events & transformation, mini events/quests, a more quiet place to light people,…)

I figured it out. First make start then make track by simple taps to make points for your race track. But to finish the track to a add the finish flag you have to hold your tap. You'll notice that the button has two dots, kinda like levels for emotes and your track is done to try out!

Well it's the truth we are overwhelmed by very constant seasons and with more time between seasons we can play more chill without worrying about the season the TS between seasons event during the seasons and all that
Plus if TGC has more time they can make better seasons with more content

Well we can only speak for ourselves. Personally, I’ve played a number of games that go from season-to-season with literally zero pause, and they all tend to require a LOT more daily play.

Sky dailies take like 5 mins. I can manage 5-10 mins a day.

No need for passive aggression. It's well known many people experience burnout and having more events that eat up down time between seasons does contribute to that.

TGC keeps adding events and it can feel overwhelming to have less and less time between seasons. Events are nice but I can't imagine what it's like for new players who don't want to miss anything and still need TS Cr + event currency + sometimes season currency (when seasons overlap with events).

We really do need extra time between seasons, it’s becoming overwhelming.

Sky May not take much time for you, but I have to do 2 hour candle runs daily just to prepare to get anything I want before I miss it.

I want more time to be able to actually focus on my own life without worrying that I’m missing out on cool items/events and give tgc more time to fix bugs especially when it comes to prairie as in live it’s becoming more and more unplayable

I think the closer seasons and events, while it may cause burn out, is also the reason why people play more consistently. I know there were times when there was a break between seasons so I just didn't play since there was nothing to do. I already have a bunch of candles and while my constellations are not complete, I already got the stuff I wanted so I'm fine with how it is.

Having an event, if not a season, to bring people back and get them active means more playtime for the game. And more people who will be willing to buy stuff. At the same time, too many stuff also equals burnout not just for some players but for the TGC staff as well.

It's just a balance between the two, but I also get why the seasons happen sooner compared to before. Same with the frequency of events.

I don’t think that’s possible given their current schedule of four seasons a year, the thing that really troubles me is the Days Of events. They put so much work in them, sometimes more work than the actual seasons, and then they’re only available for like 2% of the entire year. Meanwhile, seasons can be replayed forever. That’s why I’d rather have them focus on Seasons first, or incorporate the Days Of events into something else

the final experience felt like nothing to me. most other seasons have a final quest that feels like a celebration but this didn't feel like a "revival" like the season name says. i honestly think i'm going to end up really burnt out by the end of this season, and i am just freshly out of burnout. the season for older players is just candle grinding for cosmetics, i like the areas but as a season there is almost nothing that i look forward to. it's just the usual monotonous candle grind and i wish it was something more. after the fourth quest i will do nothing in sky and yet stuff will progress, which is a bummer to me. i don't want to be burnt out because of this season, i want to enjoy it

What bothers me the most tbh is having to watch the same cutscene everyday, or having to do the exact same thing everyday. I wouldn't mind collecting tickets so much if the activities rotated. Having to get spotted by mega crab for 2 weeks get old real fast. So does having to help the enchantment guide by picking up some orbs, and doing the race everyday (though I'm glad the race is in a different location every day at least). Dailies and candle grinding are both already repetitive enough as it is, it'd be nice if ticket collecting wasn't so repetitive

Not defending the hate/bullying from those who like tickets as that was uncalled for, but I still personally like it. I like not having to worry about my candles being nuked every event, although I will say that some of the ways the tickets were implemented were done really poorly (anniversary, aurora encore, and color). The currency itself can be helpful to many players that are still trying to save candles/hearts, it's just that tgc needs to implement better methods of collection that aren't so draining/overwhelming for us players
