I think it’s also a possibility that, because we are still in the “early days” of new event currency, they want as much data and feedback of beta players as they can.

If certain things are confusing for us, they’ll be confusing for Live players as well. So with minimal information, seeing what happens, how it’s received by players,..

I think this because we have seen a loooot of changes in EC since Anniversary testing and we are still mainly testing event currency.

Hi! I usually lurk, but just wanting to chime in on the current subject.

I'm only hoping the act of purchasing the slippers has no issues on Android in live, since we won't be able to test it out anymore. I'm sure it won't, but seeing the recent bug reports about the spells for event tickets at the boat/Enchantment shops, you never know what can happen.

As for the slippers themselves? While it personally sucks I'm gonna miss out on making a funkier tester uniform for myself for a little while longer, it's not important enough to warrant trying to extend DoStyle to get them. Chalk it up to Google & last second decisions for this, but feedbacking, encountering unfortunate mishaps like this from time to time and having to deal with/without in this version is what we signed up for. Can't be helped.

So yes they’re usually available, but like Lumi said you don’t just get them for simply being in Beta

Because Beta is Beta ™ some things aren’t tested sometimes though, or are bugged/removed from testers. Always good to keep that in mind

I use Apple, and it says it’s signed me in when the game opens but it won’t actually let me open the game

Occasionally Game Center gives me issues when logging in and I get stuck in the loading screen. I find that force quitting the game, relogging on my iCloud account and/or restarting my phone helps!

the only thing i could imagine is a special mode where you can move your arms in first person (giving a very large vignette if you're in the air, kicking you out if you go 2 seconds without landing), accompanied by essentially what is controller + touch controls. be cool if our hands were the tutorial hands

other stuff like prop placement and ui navigation could be done via hands or controller

anything that couldn't really work could just force controller controls

another thing is rendering, because you can look around you'd have to render everything everywhere. this could be maybe fixed by putting a skybox around the player that fades out behind their camera

or it could just be the homespaces, and you get to walk around on the ground without flying, being able to move your arms around accompanied by inverse kinematics on the legs

"tab targetting" would be nice indeed on consoles or controllers. I play Sky on switch while docked, and would really appreciate a way to switch targets without having to reposition myself too much.

I suggested that using the L button would be nice to switch through valid targets. Re-assigning the current L button function which is currently set to Currency (candle-forging, quest check) to L3 or R3 would make better sense since this eliminates misclicks.

I chose to dock it so I had access to use a wireless keyboard since chatting on switch is an L. Didnt want to have to QR my phone as keyboard everytime.

Does you display support HDR?

Hdr adds depth to lighting. The bright part gets brighter while the dark parts are little visible. Non hdr brightness applies the same brightness level to all colours

I'm working on the Moments quests and when I use the camera and try to save an image, nothing appears (like Files) nor does my image save... while recording you are able to click the camera option and take a still photo but the save/delete screen doesnt show up so the images are not saved.

Oh, so strange! A friendly beta moth led me to a chat bench and asked if I could help them enter the Office. So I agreed and friended them to hold their hand, but suddenly they were grayed out and had the 🚫 symbol over their head. I could still access the friend tree to offer hand hold but every time they accepted they were forced to let go. And opening the friend tree suddenly lit up their appearance again! I checked and confirmed I hadn't accidentally blocked them - and I don't think they blocked me, since they were still able to offer friend upgrades during this.

Perhaps some server weirdness? I did get a server error message while friending them... (I still managed to bring them into the Office, thankfully.)

I've been wondering this since the first day i played sky why the game has such a bad contrast between bright and dark areas the bright areas are too bright that can hurt your vision and the dark ones are so dark that is very difficult to see there's no an in between an area with good illumination and balance with light and dark places

As for aurora pants, yeah preference. I can understand because it's a collab item tgc likely didn't have much say in it, however there's also not as much in the closet that looks as good with the seaweed green as compared to the light teal. While there is a lot of items in game now, and I'm one of those who has gotten more than half of said items, I still don't use ult pants nearly as much as the Seed ones from the simple fact that I struggle to find things I feel fit out of the styles and colors available
