There was a period after initial concert testing where the concerts were disabled in beta, so we could only access the Night Coliseum.

However, since a couple of months the concert just runs the same way like Live. So I assume it’ll just keep running, maybe. We can go to the area for sure

Think might be server lagging or errors. My aurora timed ticket was missing for awhile. The server only registered it like 2 or 3 mins later. But think might be ticket to ticket based. Non time tickets was fine. I havent tested the DOStyle yet

I think what I mean is they shouldn’t make false urgency over a “limited” item. I wish it was made more clear beforehand that the cape would come back, I wouldn’t have felt like I had to buy it or my chance would be gone forever, plus plenty of players don’t really use discord and don’t have the connections to ask other players in the game. That’s on them but still.

I’m not trying to start an argument, I just wanted to voice that I’m kinda frustrated, not necessarily because it’s coming back now but because I didn’t know when I bought it that it Would come back. This is a channel for discussing feedback X)

They never said it wasn't coming back. I believe the wording was "these items aren't scheduled to return in the near future" (correct me if I'm wrong). Due to it being a contracted IP, it's unlikely to return as it would require a renewal of licsensing, which can be a lot of trouble from what I hear. That being said, it isn't impossible, as we can see with the AURORA IAPs. Just saying, it's possible for it to return, but it may take a while for the aforementioned reasons

I mean that’s the thing, they make a point of saying it probably won’t be back and everyone assumes that means never because of licensing issues. I don’t think they’ve outright said the Asteroid cape isn’t coming back but it doesn’t really seem like it will, plus we’ve seen how the game is about Ult items. Assuming it won’t come back after all that isn’t a stretch I think

Well, at the same time, regarding the return of ults, it's starting to seem more and more likely that they will return, with both DoMu giving out spell versions of ult instruments and DoStyle allowing us to wear old ults and other past seasonal items (albeit temporarily). So who knows?

My two cents about collab seasons (tlp and AURORA), enough people have to vocally want it back for them to consider it, as mentioned before IP is hard to get and renew, so it makes sense that for AURORA sky waited it out to see how much people want it. Hence why (in my silly opinion) it's called encore, because the crowd demanded an encore

If you already finished an event, the tickets you buy from the boat should go to the other one.

Not sure if this is beta specific or not, but asking here. Traveling to different areas to try to set the musical key isn’t working. I turn on background music and turn it off again, but the key keeps shifting, even though background music is off. Is this not how it works anymore? I used to do this and it seemed to work.

Also, was in Forest Brook and suddenly my instrument was greyed out in the menu and I couldn’t use the piano. Weird.

Its very different when you have played the game for four years. I did daily candle runs for longer than you have played.

Candle running was always the chore i had to do to get things i wanted. Candle running is time consuming, but worthwhile for people who like to collect but burnout is caused by over doing it.

I play sky these days to spend time with friends.

I have many newer player friends i still carry to collect candles i still enjoy that aspect. Cr can be done 100 different ways which makes it interesting.

At one point i wanted to make a route that could gather all 15 candles in less than 45 mins and it was fun to keep trying new ways to do it. But now candle running isnt rewarding for me so i dont do it anymore.

Tickets are just for current/new items. Next year, they'll be available for candles. It's similar to orange candles with seasonal spirits. You can use the orange candles during the season, but if you miss out then you can use regular candles (at a different price usually) when they show up again as a traveling spirit.

It's not that bad when you think of it.

sky for me is the community, the people I met, the stuff ive taught myself because of sky, i mean theres a lot of things i associate to the game, and i came to terms with grinding because it was something to do, ritualistic, and calming. idk it helped me just focus on something lol. lately ive taken a break from cr cause i dont super need to right now but i am getting back to it slowly

If you are new you are bound to not have seen the seasons/events older players have nor the traveling spirits. So it doesn’t make much sense because if you started earlier even within an event you have an advantage over someone joining later.

Older players will always have the edge on newer players because they dont need to fork out for TS as much. There’s really no way to fix that discrepancy.

this is why they introduced EVC so people didnt have to stress about needing to grind for candles, not everyone has thousands of candles old and new so they introduced this new currency to ease those issues. and they want you to play the game to earn them why is that bad?

I can kinda see it, but ac is far more limited than reg ones. It's a whole week's reset for just a few tickets to "catch up" something many people don't want to use it on due to elder masks. Forest requires you to do months of eden just to get it

Some of us do play the game and would rather not be funneled into playing a certain way.

Thats why they made so many different ways to collect candles because not everyone wants to do the same thing. We had social light for those who want to just hang out and chat trials for those who like to have more of a challenge.

The big difference between candles and EC was the ability for people to see what event items are coming and save in advance if they were unable to play during that time. Now busy people just have to wait a year.

I can definitely see that as an issue for Anniversary at least since those were time locked and it was such a slog, even I missed a good few. But for other events, not really unless you have like zero time for Sky, and even then, it only takes a few minutes for other events

While yes I can see "there's an issue with extra tickets for candles instead of ac" they're still putting it behind a super limited currency that not everyone will want to use. The BEST would be if there was generally no limit on DAILY candles gained, as they have such a massive pool of things to be used on, but I digress

If someone wants to go to every granny and geyser for the candles? LET THEM. If someone wants to run every single area for candles? LET THEM. But don't force them to do one or the other because it has to be so dang limited, we already wait long enough for the eruptions/cookies each time

My biggest issue is for new players joining a day too late have no way to catch up with tickets. With candles you could be generous and gift candle packs if a friend was running short.

Now its just a well itll come back next year. Its especially devastating for those who collect daily only to see they are one or two short and their 14 ac and time was wasted

I also wouldn’t be opposed to missions or grandma giving generic event currency. im chiming in once on this tired convo and dust of a horse. ive played daily since flight (moff of dreams but never did daily) and gather around 15 candles per days cuz thats all i can manage (minus offseason dailys) and im still at a deficit even with buying candle packs. every event and ts slammed me like a truck. the evc is a godsend for me. im actually getting to save and buy out the candle trees and ts instead of skipping things for events or ts.

to note i also often bought cosmetic stuff and didnt have enough for candle packs before you say buy more candle packs. im not dropping 200+ a month on sky

The Aurora 10 ticket bonus can only be collected one time EVER, after watching the concert at least from when Queendom starts and staying until you get the text that tells you how many people you watched the concert with. It’s not once per day
So, if you’ve ever gotten the 10 bonus tickets, that’s it.
Spawning in the same location, however, is 1 extra ticket that may be collected once a day at X:00, X:15, X:30, X:45 (it may be collected any time on the quarter hour, but only once per day)

However the blogpost in #news mentioned that all past Aurora IAPs would become available again during the Aurora Encore event, and the Cure for me outfit and mask.

It's been terrible from my own experience.
I barely see any shared memories or message boats from friends.
In live and beta.
Even if they tell me they put something in a specific place, it often doesn't seem to show up for me.
Neither do mine for them.

I like the smaller appearance, but I feel like how the notes work now with this new pop up system... When they only show up if you stand in a specific location. It makes it basically impossible to run into your friends stuff atm.

On the topic of shared spaces: I think a shared space shrine in Prairie Peaks would fit too. Afaik they ‘last longer’ than the shared space spells and they’re free + no clutter because it’s just 1 place.

I noticed this too. I go on the daily quests in live with a group of friends, and during meditation quests we try to find what everyone said for the question. Many times after the update it was hard for everyone to everyone else’s answer even when we stayed a long time and now often give up and go home. I do like the ability to see people’s notes with under 3 likes now instead of hundreds, but I think it’s untrue that it’s easier to find a friends post.

Where I'd normally get many likes for a boat or shared memory, now I don't get any. Not much of my friends are able to see them.
It's really weird.

I also don't understand exactly why they don't seem to show up as they used to. Wasn't it the idea to make your friends stuff more visible?
To go from very visible for a specific amount of boats and memories at home, to have none visible.
I'm sad I miss so many things now.
