@gilded basin @pine hedge You're both wrong. Beta was reset before iOS release , removing all previous cosmetics (and friend unlocks, sob). But after that we tested both Rhythm and Gratitude again for the umpteenth time and the owl hair was available from a regular seasonal spirit for a short time (you know, the one who actually wears it)

Yeah, Lightseeker testing was much later, but very short. Hence why we couldn't get the ultimate reward for that one either. Back in those days, you would only get the ultimate by completing all spirits, just like a regular constellation

Having said that, I don't think there are all that many testers left from that time who also happened to get the owl hair... 😉

If someone whos wearing an elder mask with the blue crown from days of nature in Live, and when the update comes around, it means they wont be able to do that combo anymore because elder masks will be in the same spot as the days of nature crown right?

I’m very disappointed that I didn’t get to join the test and try the mini games. Aurora was never at Home. I started trying to get in at 3:PM which is the correct time in my time zone. Beta is an open programme that anyone can join. There is no vetting or checking who joins. The only thing you shouldn't do is the same as in Live

Sometimes on android spaces open up when someone leaves, so occasionally you can get into beta outside of invite waves. Be sure to read updates and known issues because new cosmetics are often bugged. Also there are seasonal candles in every realm except the Isle, and you can get 4 per realm. If you need to get into office let us know in #beta-looking-for-group

For beta, at least for me, I could transfer from iOS to iOS without a problem because of TestFlight. I’m assuming it’s the same for Android and Google Play?? If you’re transferring phones from iOS to Android or vise versa, you need to wait for an invite wave.

We usually require testers to be on the same version of beta ("bumping the minimum version"). This is especially important for the big scheduled playtests, or for things involving festival tech, because things won't work as intended and we can't get the data we need if players are on different versions of the beta that don't all have the same changes and fixes

There isn't a separate version of beta for China. There's just the one beta that everyone tests together.

you do need to have testflight (completely separate app) in order to download it
then once the invite is received, it can be downloaded through there

To qualify as a tester, you need to follow the links we post at the start of a new invite wave. After removing inactive testers from previous beta tests, we will invite active players to the beta in waves. These new waves go out as-needed when the number of active testers falls below a set threshold. Invites are no longer tied to the start of a new Season.

These invite waves will have limited Beta tester slots and will be first-come-first-served. You can watch for these invite announcements and links in our #beta-signup-info ... channel.

If you don't see an invite link for iOS in the beta-invites channel, then it's not possible to join the iOS beta

It runs my 3d app, video rendering and stuff like that smoothly. Genshin and star rail run perfectly on 60 fps.
But the thing is I had some weird frame drops in certain locations in beta for a while now. But in live it was fine before yesterday's update. Now I have same drops in live

Yeah it's just optimization problem. M1 is a very powerful chip so it should be able to give perfect experience.

You have to use the image of the qr, not the link. Links don’t work in beta. I suggest having the qr up on one device, and taking a photo of it with the device you’re playing on

The person who commented on that said that peeps from Beta complained and feedbacked about what you’re referring to a lot but the changes were not implemented. And there’s nothing players can do about it (beta or live)

Just because players give feedback or complain, it doesn't automatically mean things will change. TGC may have a different overall plan that they want to stick to or any changes they do intend to make takes time

Beta is not a way for players to get all their wishes and requests come true. It's a way for TGC to test things out with a live player base, instead of just doing everything in house. Feedback and bug reports are important, but ultimately it is the producer of the game who makes the decisions

it definitely sucks that we lost some cosmetic combinations since it came to live but it was probably too late to not implement it. i really hope the closets are gonna get another reshuffle that makes more sense sometime soon

I think recently, more-so since the server fires, TGC has had more difficulty getting everything done, and the closet changes likely weren’t priority, with a new season about to launch and the anniversary event coming up, but there’s a good chance of them making the improvements everyone wants in 0.22.5, for now, we just have to wait and suffer a bit
