It's not explicitly stated but it does explain that invites are sent out in the (linked) hidden channel, and that you can grab the invites role to be notified when they arrive. If you grab the role, you'll then see the previously hidden channel become accessible.

Early beta feedback and bug reporting was actually done in a closed FB group. When the main hub for Sky was moved here, it was easier to make a consistent format for those things

Yeah, the idea (hope, prayer, etc.) is that whoever joins beta will also keep up with the really-super-important-and-relevant information we post in #beta-announcements and treat beta as the test (mad science experiment) that it is, and at least occasionally take time to send feedback and bug reports. That's much easier to accomplish when everything's here on Discord. It also makes it easier for folks on other platforms to avoid seeing beta spoilers.

We know it can take extra time you weren't expecting to start over as a moth in beta, but it's also really valuable to us to have players with "new"-level accounts experience content. Someone with only 3 cape wedges, for example, is a lot more likely to notice that there aren't enough places for less experienced players to recharge, or that a ledge might be a total barrier.

What do you guys think about the change with the elder masks/head accessories? Am i the only one who thinks that its going to be really annoying not being able to wear head accessories like the horns or earrings with the elder masks? That hadn't really occurred to me. I was mostly thinking about mixing the elder mask and other masks but if someone likes to wear elder mask + earrings/horns I can see how that would be upsetting

Yeah I think its great we will be able to wear the elder masks with other standard masks now, but unfortunately the update brings other issues (stated above) that most players are gonna be affected by. This can be fixed if the elder masks get put in their own category, separate from the head accessories. I mean they did that and made boots their own section, its definitely do-able but for the elder masks

I made one similar but just simplified for convenience, I'm all for being able to wear more accessories at once but I feel it's not the best idea to allow us to wear so many at once, and if they do get too many categories it would cause them to have to make a new cosmetics system which is not something I'd want to do if I was them, it's unnecessary work so I did make a simple design to help with it too

I also put this in feedback, it puts neck accessory into the cape closet, separates earings/horns/headbands from mask accessories and glasses and seperates facial hairs from both masks and hair without cluttering the closet ui

Day 1: I didn't know about the Elder Masks until yesterday, after running Eden in the beta. I hadn't ran Eden on live in ages, and I hadn't been playing at all for a long while too. Breaks are important! But the point is, i'm gonna run Eden at least once a day on beta until I can afford the Isle Elder Mask. I'd get it in live instead, but the Journey mask being linked to the Journey call means that I will never wear any other mask in the live game again. Too bad I don't have the Journey mask in beta...

you can get it in live if you have a switch and get it, or have a switch friend gift the pack to you

The only way you can be removed from testing is, only in iOS, if you become inactive— while we don’t have specific details on what being inactive entails— or if you choose to leave the test. Otherwise, check #beta-announcements to see what we’re testing and participate in what you want/can! Sending feedback and bug reports are also always a plus

For the stress test specifically, just showing up and having fun is what matters the most if you’re available to join

You’ll get kicked out (at least on IOS) if you’re inactive in general for a long (and unspecified) period of time, or if you leave on your own accord. You start off fresh to relive spirits and make sure that they aren’t bugged, do season quests for the same reason, essentially just play like a regular player and try to break things either on accident or on purpose.

Guys I have a question, I won’t be there tomorrow for the big play test at the coliseum and so does that mean that I won’t be able to have the bonfire ? Can I get it at the end of my day even if I wasn’t there for the test ?

You still need to candle run to get candles, we don’t get candle packs in Beta.
Or wait until seasonal candle conversion.

i think if you manage log after aurora concert you will able get it anyway even if you haven't test.
But will no last longer the spirit in home so need be fast

It’s sad for those that can’t participate because of timezone differences, but remember the bonfire is just a “thank you” gift here in Beta. There might be other tests in the future, and we all know keeping items and such in Beta is always uncertain

You can try to login when you are able and see if it’s still available, but always prioritize your IRL responsibilities and health first
