The beta version is the work-in-progress of the upcoming live update, so if a bug is affecting the beta version and it isn’t fixed, then it will very likely affect the live version when it’s updated. So definitely report any bugs you find in beta, that’s why we’re all here

skybot also has a time-out timer for bug reporting too if you take too long to type stuff out, so after you've done a couple reports and you know what the fields are you can sort of make yourself a little template to write stuff in to copy/paste

Content creators tend to upload this stuff when it comes to beta and label as such, we do not know when an event will occur or what the official live pricing will be as beta content is always wip any pricing videos on yt are for reference and may be outdated. You will know when an event will occur when said event is posted in #news

And for a bit more context—content creators post stuff that’s beta tested. Often that means that a new beta thing, like an event, will be released in the same patch number that’s been tested. That’s usually the case for events, though not always. Sometimes features stay in beta for a couple patches or more too. For example, the map shrines and updated friendship constellations went through 2-3 patches of beta testing before they went live

It seems the area has a day/night cycle like home space does too (looking at the trailer). Unless they're just planning it to be a separate realm gate in home to get to after doing tutorial that also has day/night cycle.

I'd like the current home to be where we spawn and maybe has the firefly tech where there are no rainbow cone kids there for some peace. Then walk across a bridge or something and the crowd spawns in where the village area is.

Why tgc is making the event cosmetics so expensive if :
• they have to be bought with this new in-game currency, which can't convert from white candles, only eden ones (so it's impossible to get them using real money)

• the only way to get a 170 cape is farming tickets almost every day of the event, if you want to speed up things a little, you will have to run Eden beforehand twice or thrice (which is one of the most time consuming things to do in sky (collect stars, etc)

The time you saved by not farming white candles, you will now waste it by collecting tickets + doing Eden

Why is tgc pushing so hard to corner players into playing every day, when burnout is a recurrent issue that's has been talk about ?

And this is what Nagati meant, the live player base tends to have a different reaction than beta since beta is a small selection of the player base and doesn't see the changes in real time. And meaning they won't have a reason to be sad about something they wanted but didn't happen in a season/event/new feature

I play live using PS, so the only time i could login sky was when i am at home, which is around 10pm on work days. I wish i could go to bed on 11 because i need to wake up on 6 so i could go to work on 7am.
DoN was stressful to me because of I have to spend extra time to go out of normal daily routine, even if i can teleport easily, i felt like it's too much and i want to have even less time to play so i could rest more.
Saying things dismissing others experience about why they're upset having to spend more time on an event is not so nice. People need to take to account how others spend their time. It might be easy to you but to some people, it's a struggle to even have to login daily.

I miss old coliseum. The candle stacks on the pillars. Sometimes landing somewhere weird during the cutscene.

Who remembers the treasure candles in old valley coliseum were there and you could not swap flight modes to try to crash land on the pillar to light the cakes😭😭

Maybe the aviary will act like a dlc (not paid tho) like s3's expansion pass where it unlocks old versions of locations

What I mean by outfit save, it’s like, you choose an outfit and you save it, and when you wanna switch outfit faster it’s all already save. So you don’t need to look 10min in your closet to pick up things and do it quickly

I'm just worried that the aviary is gonna be too much for some people, with the festival tech. And that it will cause people who might love the game to turn away because of it. I know I have been struggling with the amount of people during AURORA and the Passage quests, I even skipped Days of Bloom bc of it.

Yes! I dread doing passage quests because it's so overwhelming to me

Also, part of what made season of Aurora so special was that we'd never seen anything like that before. Now that the festival tech is being thrown around everywhere it doesn't feel special anymore

I'm curious about how TGC is planning to handle those calm little relaxed areas they've hinted at planning to add to the big Server areas - it might really help those of us skykids who are a bit overwhelmed with the Festival tech. Maybe like quiet caves we can "escape" into to wind down a bit :>

I’d love for a building in Project Aviary that is something like that, like a library where you can just relax
Maybe the other Skykids could turn into faint, less obnoxious stardust particles to still give a feeling of being with many others, but less overwhelming

i think 20 or 40 pinballs imo seem good, the rest should be fireflys ngl
