This is good advice. Just focus on new content and don't try to cr live and beta because it gets not fun especially when you're mostly running solo in beta. It's tough because you'll be broke until the end of the next season but that's expected. You can always look at #beta-screenshots-videos and give feedback on cosmetics. The new ticket system will help as well.

Not normal, but expected in Beta. They get reported to TGC automatically but if you notice something makes the game crash consistently (aka you can repeat specific steps to trigger it every time), it might be worth reporting!

Hey guys! I been wondering about updates for IOS, when we get an update, do we have to go somewhere or do something specifically to download an update when available or does that download automatically?

I don’t want to accidentally miss an update and have the app deleted if it doesn’t get the updoot ( just got beta so I wanna ask this sooner rather than later just in case)

Every update is a surprise on testflight - I have mine set to autoupdate but it likes to trick me and not update at times 😭

You won't miss an update though, we get pinged here after we get an update - sometimes it can take discord a day or so to actually ping us, but Sagomay always gives us patch notes

Controller player here to share some wisdom before calling it a night (yes it's 4am, but I work until midnight, so....) (Ps: apologies for text wall)

If battery life isn't an issue, wired controllers usually work with mobile when paired with an otg adapter. Razer kishi controllers also work with sky, though you will need to remove phone case and use the correct version (Android/iOS) depending on device type. Should be noted, D-pad does not work with the Kishi in sky (for Android, haven't tested with iOS), and other wired controllers are hit and miss for this feature.

For wireless switch controllers, the nyko core controller (Android/switch) works with sky and sky beta. Bonus points, layout is almost identical to switch controls, and the D-pad actually works.

Joycons can be used on Android, but you'll need an enabler to allow for use in games - this usually requires a paid subscription

Beta and Live Sky are essentially separate games, you can use the same login for both - your live account won't be affected nor will it transfer over any progress, so you'll start fresh as a moth in beta

i connected my playstation controller with bluetooth to my phone, it worked, problem is only that i had to figure the controlls out myself bc i got no tutorial, but it worked

Never played on a console but I have a bt controller for my phone and I just can’t get used to flying with a joystick. I also prefer the touch screen camera control, which allows for much quicker and more precise shifts in camera angle. The one thing I like better about a controller is having a button for honking. I really wish they’d add one to the on-screen controls like in Journey.

Idk, maybe I could get used to a controller but after nearly 3 years of playing almost exclusively with the touch screen controls, I’m pretty adept at using them. I do sometimes bust out the blue tooth controller for Eden runs, since the joystick is just fine for moving around on foot, and it’s easier to get the statues with a controller, especially when running by them.

Fortunately on switch you can link your phone and use it as keyboard instead! It doesn't always work perfectly but it's certainly much better than using the switch keyboard

They're not disabled entirely, just around the middle section because of the event - if you stand anywhere away from the rainbow section you can still use props
