I think there should be a way to tell which color platform a Skykid is missing from your server so we can complete the 8 needed to activate the rising beam of light.

It’s frustrating that You can't even know if there are 8 players with you to do it, among so many people from other sub servers you can't see it.

When you enter there with strangers there is no way to communicate, everyone gets desperate and moves from their platform. I was almost 50 minutes and I could not go up.

The only time I did it was the previous days of testing and because several friends organized ourselves at home to activate it. So I feel that many players will miss the beautiful experience of going to the new rainbow zone 🌈

I don't know how the geyser changes the color of the flying cloud and the quest, and it's hard to tell if it has the correct color.

If you should wait on the spot, you can indicate that it was a failure the moment you move from there, display the remaining number of how many more people are needed, write in the spirit's line, etc.

If you have all the colors and nothing happens even if you wait, most of the Skids will leave, so the number of people will be less and less. Because we don't know that "we have to reach the necessary number of people" before the number of unnecessary people is large or small.

The archs are really bright and I've been having trouble seeing the progress of other colors.

We've gotten close to completing all the colors but people get frustrated after sitting there for 5 minutes and nothing happening. We have enough people but people, understandably, get impatient

There were about 5 badmintons in the correct color in front of each colored spirit, so I think there were 5×7= about 35 people.

Edit for extra tips: rainbow cape does any colour. Supposedly it works if you see the particles charging the beam even if the (red) spirit tell you cape doesn't match

It may be that there is not enough flexibility in the condition of having both at the same time.
Skids always want to move.
No matter how many people it is, it may not meet the conditions.
If some people are already on the platform with the correct color, the rainbow indicating the correct answer has already appeared at the time of the player who came later, so there is no change even if they join later or move.

For example, it would be nice if the rainbow glowed brighter each time a correct answerer joined, and dimmed when he left.🤔

Elevator requires 8 people, so there are 8 elevator stones. The surplus stones are "white" and are not used for the rainbow generation this time, but can we use this effectively? When 28 people approach, this white stone flashes, and when 28 people are aligned, it emits the maximum light, and the light that rises above the clouds is emitted from the center stone. It might be good if the message "Do your best because the conditions will be met soon" will be conveyed.😆

Speaking of the white on those beams... I think it should be said that visually it is difficult to look at. It looks cool, yes. But the few times I've been in that area, I've fought the urge to aim my camera away for visual comfort. The bloom and general brightness is too much for the area imo (please give bloom/gama/contrast/saturation/etc sliders in settings)

Also, battery drain and device heat generation is pretty high... But that's a pretty well known issue I think.

Currently, some tickets are “on the path of the dailies” (TGC comment), but seem a bit randomised. In beta those will give you 4 tickets. Then you can also find another 4 in the event area, also scattered randomly. This is for Days of Colour, btw.

You will not be able to buy these tickets or substitute them for regular candles

We both beta AND live players can estimate that it will probably occur around June-July as that's been the general time period in previous years. However, beta testers don't get information on release dates for any events so we don't know for certain if that will still be the case or not.

they’re fun for parties and concerts but they’re just…. so unfitting for the rest of skys environments? they look like colourful plastic which is visually yucky when placed in environments that don’t exactly have similar vibes to the concert/office party. Even the goober sheep friends for the passage quests just look so out of place because they look way too plasticky 😭 they’re cute but could they not be smaller, blend in with the environment more and maybe even be transparent? Perhaps even just make them all the little firefly sparkles because those would actually look good in sky’s environments

Sometimes I think tgc unnecessarily puts themselves in a situation where they’re in over their heads. I don’t think that feature in the quests is worth all this trouble with the constant crashing and then the immense coordination needed to complete

They could be working on other things like bugs instead of focusing all their efforts into one thing

The crowd feature can be nice sometimes, like AURORA or Bloom where it added immersion. I don’t care for the crowd feature being put into almost every other event after it’s purpose was used up. The season (Passage) quests I can get if we’re merged with some other players due to the message of the season from what I’m getting, but not a ton like there is now. It gets really uncomfortable to deal with as someone who’s a solo player.

i feel like the crowd was fine during aurora and bloom since you could leave the crowd if you needed to but i don't like being forced into it for quests some players can't handle crowds whether it's because their devices can't render all those skids at once or because they just don't like crowds

Yeah. I really enjoyed it for the concert atmosphere and Bloom as well, but I'm not a fan of it's use in passage. Because beta is so much less crowded I didn't realize how overwhelming it would be in the night Isle. It really ruins the atmosphere there.

Tbh I'm alright with it being in passage, it kinda makes sense with the theme, and I like the sheepies, but the problem is that the crowd limit still feels like too big, and when you enter the crowd server it splits, and it splits with your friends, and you can't join back, and it's annoying.
We'll see how bad the second quest will be in live I guess.
I think it being in days of rainbow is kinda overusing it, it makes sense for anniversary, but it better be optional, since you can't even join friends in office. It seems like they got more budget, but I wish they put it elsewhere

it’s supposed to run until 5/1 pdt, which is tomorrow… assuming it comes back before then, uh, would anyone be willing to explain how seasonal tickets actually work? i read the little explanation blurb in game but found exactly two tickets over the course of the day yesterday.

that and the charging light thing- it always says i’m wearing the wrong color cape even when i’m not and sometimes still even lets me charge the color, but the charging never completes no matter how long i’m there and i’m not sure if i’m doing something wrong… i’m so confused by this event

As I understand it the average so far has been around 8/9 tickets a day (don't take this for fact, things are still not confirmed cause beta lol). As for where to find them, some are dotted around the area the event takes place and some may be attached to daily quests i.e. daily rainbow quest(s) had 4 tickets attached that you got after completing it which you then just save up for the items you want throughout the event - since we haven't had very long to test each event we haven't really had a chance to collect enough tickets to claim any of the items so far (prices for which are also unconfirmed/likely to change)

As for this, some of the cape colours have the pop up about not matching when they're supposed to, but I think the devs know about issues like that - as long as we had the particle effects coming from our kids on the platform that's the intention. Unfortunately in the current build we need at least 28 kids wearing the same colours on each platform to charge up all the coloured beams and trigger the middle light beam to do the uppies thing for us so you're not doing anything wrong

Leave #beta-feedback to let them know! We don't have any confirmation of how many tickets we'll be able to collect per event aside from mentions that we won't need to collect every ticket to get the items, there's also no confirmation of how long events will run until they're announced in live, so we can't really calculate how active we'd need to be - but if you have concerns about needing to log in daily and not being able to then that's good info to share with tgc so they can take into consideration different play styles

I like the napkins as part of the DoC event because it adds to the rainbow everywhere vibe, but it is noisy and visually overwhelming, and when it's coupled with the bright bloom of my glowy kid and the flashbang of the centre of the beams, well... head pain
