The masks are very different to any other masks in game so far. It’s refreshing to be honest. They will most likely get polished but it would be a shame if they put too many elements on them, they might end up losing their strength.

People are free to like the masks and people are free to redesign them as they want. It's not a shame for anyone to want something to be different or to remain the same. It's just difference in tastes. Plenty of players have wanted an Anubis 2.0 for a bit, so it's understandable why people like me would see these animal masks and think it's a good opportunity.

Whatever they end up doing, I hope we get cool polish to the masks regardless.

I think some people don’t realize that mask, hair, clothes, and capes are all telling a story of the history and traditions of the ancestors of the world. They all look the way they do for a historical reason to showcase that season’s spirits traditions. They’re not just supposed to be fancy clothing for you character. The seasons are still telling a story about the world after all.
Gratitude, Prophecy, Passage, and every other season are all different cultures and traditions from different ancestors. Each one is beautiful in its own right and because one doesn’t look like the others doesn’t make it lackluster.

Fair. Also people can feel the masks need more or are lackluster. It's about personal tastes. You can have masks that tell a culture and traditions and they look different from what we have now or be more detailed.

People saying the masks are lackluster are fine. There have been many edits I've seen that keep with the more ancient look that also provide more details.

Like I love the hair and clothing in the season, but for me the masks could be better and feel more cohesive to the season itself for me.

Both what you said and what other people are saying can co-exist, is basically what I wanna emphasize with this lol. Not to mention the devs themselves said the cape and masks are WIP and the colors and such might changed.

Honestly my only issues really is I don't like the mint color and the ult doesn't feel like it's defined enough from the other masks. It doesn't have to be a deer/Anubis mask, that's just what I drew but I'm not saying it has to be that way. My only bare minimum gripe is with the mint color not feeling like it fits into the color scheme of the season or of stuff we have in sky in general.

Just for me being more cohesive would mean having the colors match more with the items in the season. The mint just throws me off.

Now the cutscene is super long and not skippable (not great for replay) I’m sometimes out of flaps when I get there so can’t get I the boat. Most of Season of Dreams items aren’t what I like the first time we test it. Not up to my taste and I think the theme isn’t pretty, I didn’t like Abyss cosmetics either. I also never liked Rhythm pants because they have no character after their popularity. And it’s okay not to like the entire season’s collections, it’s fine to not get them. Not okay to just say scrap off an entire work because it’s ugly to our taste, it is rather judging. Perhaps we have better opinion/suggestion to make it better, I say go for it, maybe we can write some feedback.

Hey, has anyone encountered the issue of not being able to play Beta following the aurora concert testing? Seems like @merry island (sorry for the ping) has been having some issues and has been getting server errors anytime they attempt to play. They have been keeping up with the updates as well. We were hoping to hear some insight or direction of where they could go about this; they've said they made multiple bug reports already.

-do not attempt to play the sliding animation while using roll lv3/4. reason? this makes you visually inside the ground
-try to play the emote as much as possible until physically impossible (e.g. player flaps). this includes not putting the player into glide mode when falling. reason? breaks rolling immersion and broken rolling immersion is not fun
-let player pick up speed down hills, and play the animation faster as you go faster. reason? to roll down hills funny, also to do the valley race
-this ones kinda stupid but if a friends holding your hand they should directly follow behind you like a train. this one doesn't have a reason itd just be funny

also if a spirits holding your hand and you roll its very scary they rotate very fast

I can't add another method too, i can't login to my facebook account,it saids "app can't be accessed right now and the app developer is aware of this issue. You will be able to login when the app is reactivated"

Anyone else think the days of nature cape would be more appealing if it was symmetrical and covered both shoulders? I don't like the asymmetrical capes much at all and I rarely see people wearing them in game. I like the colour and the fishy vortex design thing but I wish it was more wavy and symmetrical. Like rather than an oval shape off to the side make it be like up and down waves for the bottom of the cape.

should be possible to unlink email if you’ve linked at least one other method.
then you can just dump it by linking it to a throwaway email acc and unlink any other methods.

I’ve had to do this once with a switch acc that was accidentally created before I linked my acc to my switch profile.

if you teleport to sanc through the nature guide you'll be plonked on turtle island, go to the left of the guide until you see a washed up trapped chonky friend, burn the darkness to free them and click ! button

it'll trigger the vortex stuff about following them over etc. then you fly over with them, go over to anxious angler in the boat and it should trigger the collection part of the quest, then you just clear up the trash until the meter fills up

if there's any confusion or deviation/bugs then make sure to report them! Best of luck

Has anyone tried to do the last Abyss quest recently? I had difficulty getting it to complete. Went back to the ship holding the cannoneer's hand and I'm standing there with them while the guide is staring right at us telling me he's missing 😅
I eventually took him back to see what happened if I redid the quest with the cannoneer and when I started to dive it completed and he was suddenly sleeping in his boat. Then I was able to turn it in.
