yeah it has to do with overlapping.. but why tho? like, I’d like to place an umbrella inside of a pipe but I suppose the way the hitboxes are compared it doesn’t allow that, even tho no part of the props are even touching.
also try placing an umbrella in the middle of a picnic cloth and it won’t let you
these are just a few examples.
I don’t see the added value of restricting prop placement like that.

I'm not sure cause I placed balloons in the bucket prop and it showed up red occasionally but I just had to get the angle right, maybe try place the umbrella then place pipe and see if that works. If you have feedback on prop placement and overlapping though definitely let devs know in #beta-feedback because it's fun having some props overlap and it's not so great if we can't fiddle around with them

When I was building my dragon head earlier I kept getting red props, mainly when trying to stack pillows... They had like maybe 2 pixels overlapping and it would just be like no.

I find pillows easiest to stack without getting bonked by red, the only issue I have with them is when they're trying to flip inside of each other when I just want a nice neat stack

I'd imagine that the Chinese players have a discord or place where they can provide feedback in their language. I know they have their own servers and group (at least in live), so it would make sense that they have a place where they can provide feedback.

When I first played Sky, many many moons ago, I thought it would be fun to have a Days of Fast event for Ramadan. But it's only now I remembered that Ramadan follows the lunar calendar, so it changes every year. I'm not sure how that would work in the game then. I still think it would be fun to see, but not sure how it would be implemented.

The first link was a patch note from back in 2020 march. Which of course they didn't touch for a little over 2.5 years and the second link is their Traveling Spirit page, which they update pretty frequently. Notice how they didn't change the last point of it. Moreover, you can ask either via their contact email or a direct dev, they usually would never give you a straightforward answer. It's always a vague one. To say that it's all decided and written in stone is far fetched because none of us are a core TGC staff. So don't lose hope! Look how Journey was released in 2012 and look after how many years we're getting an official pack XD

Even if they did have similar recharge speed, it shouldn't be an issue as they both have their trade-offs. One has looks and the other can burn at geyser/grandma. They would both be equal in a way with their own respective strengths imo (that's if they charged the same)

It's not like one is the 2.0 version of the other.

Besides, giving the ult a better charge will give more incentive for players to purchase the pass (if they did dailies everyday), in-turn more revenue for tgc. It's a win win

Well at the end of the day the reasoning of fairness for ults to not be overpowered is so that f2p aren't at a disadvantage, so the whole point is for ults to be regarded for their cosmetic value more than anything else - but the decisions made surrounding both ults has taken away from that and that's the thing that doesn't sit well with me. If they'd just had bonfire charge at the same speed as the biggest f2p prop and then manta ult comes along and folk ask for recharge to be added nobody would have expected it to be any higher than the highest f2p recharge because bonfire would have been the same.

But since they added the unlevel playing field and haven't corrected it, of course when they include recharge with manta ult people are going to want it to be on par with the only other charging ult.

Alternatively they could just yoink recharge altogether from manta lamp, but I don't think that would go down well at this point either
