Do not disturb spell kind of awkward bc what if someone still tps to you because they assume you won't mind and you'd still have to be put in a position where you tell them "hey I really do wanna be alone" 💀

I'd prefer a toggle in settings that makes you appear offline and maybe so you don't forget about it this could happen: if you toggle it on and then exit the game, when you get back on it could say "You have left do not disturb on since your last play session. Would you like to turn it off?" (✅ or ❌)

EDIT: Blocking TP for all friends would be better. We talked about it below that friends would think you blocked them if you appeared offline. I have to agree with that.

it's not usual (though if the winds are particularly bad it will push your player in the wrong direction), ark does seem to be having problems right now because if i go to it, go home and use the return shrine, it teleports me back to broken temple, not ark.

The “this player wishes to be alone” spell honestly seems amazing to me, I’m also gonna show this to a friend who would make good use of this!

(I originally put this in screenshots channel, but forgot it’s just for screenshots lol)

First, Is it a spell you have to buy? If so that kind of sucks. I feel everyone should have a right to this spell for free, Even that it should be a permanent addition to the constellation as a lot of ppl struggle with social burnout but feel obligated to be perky and social when someone joins them 😔 And a bad mood can sometimes even escalate and u have a hard time communicating properly, and the poor friend has no idea ur just struggling so much!

I’ve felt this myself and it’s not fun. plus having to block friends just to have alone time kind of sucks! (I’ve never done this but friends have blocked me just for alone time, which I was totally okay with, but this method seems more preferred.)

Even then, sometimes u also just wanna be with a couple close friends, because more joining u can be either overwhelming, (especially if they are not mutual-) or your just not in the mood to interact w them, which brings me to, the fact that it would be cool if you can choose certain friends who this spell does not affect!

Maybe you could also toggle whether or not just to keep friends from joining you all together, by showing the message that they wish to be alone, and maybe with a time limit when this will no longer be the case. OR just that it’ll tell u they wish to be alone, but a friend can join anyways. Perhaps in case something important comes up, ur friend knows your not in the mood or just not able to socialize, but they can tell you what’s up.

Just some thoughts and I hope they are not out of place!

Omg I just tested the manta lantern. The recharge function is incredible. When you fly near the manta, it can recharge full energy in just 2 seconds.

I mainly play on switch so geyser and granny times ate literally hell because the ui icons get in the way and I can hardly actually press the right icon I ever want.

That snd honestly some of the messages on boats throughout the realms are very nice to just take a step back and read. While you have some of the social messages of people trying to talk to their friends, you can get genuine little messages that are very heart warming or lovely quotes that can stick with you

I wonder if the reason we got this mostly useless implementation of the DND spell is because someone could still warp to a mutual friend, or a server merge might match you together anyway.

The current implementation of adding a warning that can be bypassed does nothing, because we're already conditioned to accept the "do you want to teleport to this player?" prompt without reading it.

But that's all the more reason that it should instead be a toggle in the menu, where they can have the menu explain what the DND mode can and cannot do. Then it should prevent teleporting to you specifically, but if you see a friend you know that they didn't intentionally warp to you.

It would be great if we got a proper status system instead. Currently there's also the opposite issue of you never know if it's polite to warp to your friends. I'd love a few options for it

• Online (default, current behavior)
• Join me! (Would have some special indication on the friends constellation)
• Do not disturb (prevents teleporting)

Notably no option to appear offline, as others stated that would cause people to falsely believe they were blocked. It could also revert back to online automatically after several hours being offline.

I dunno if this has been brought up, but the Aurora cape now allows you to go from anyplace to the concert Coliseum ! — This is positive news cause TGC have said before that due to engineering/tech limitations/issues, they couldn’t adopt this feature during the early Aurora season development. And Imo, I absolutely loved Rae's suggestion about the DND. Toggling DND on or off and blocking the warp would be the better option though.

my ideal "do not disturb" feature would be:

• a toggleable game mode rather than a spell, so players can play solo for however long they want without draining their candles
• friends would not be allowed to teleport in DND mode. players don't want to be disturbed for a reason, and those boundaries need to be respected so the ability to teleport to friends anyway just makes the whole feature useless and a waste of candles.
• strangers would not be able to join a player on DND mode. it's not time alone if you have a very persistent moth trying to light you. some people just want to chill by themselves for a bit

it's a bug, if you buy the IAP pants, it gives you the cape instead. i suggest not doing that until it's fixed as it would nullify one or both of the cosmetics

The prompt idea sounds like a problem to me: if it's an involuntary pop-up, it might block your screen right when you need it (e.g. trying to maneuver around a shard or running from a krill)

Aurora's items (music sheets and emotes) remained on the season tree, with the exception of the outfit and mask, which were licensed items. They were based off an actual outfit in a music video.

Season of Assembly also still has items in its season tree, though I wasn't playing during it so I can't say whether it had anything removed when the season ended.

I thought it would be neat if you could toss fireworks down and run and when they go off (if they go off before you get hit) the krill would look the other way. Could be super useful when mid flight and probably easier to do if spotted mid flight than when on ground but still.

A solo method with firework staff would be cool.

Tbh, I go back and forth about the alone time feature and how it should work in sky, I feel if we had the option to toggle ourselves offline, many of us may not ever toggle it back to online , which is completely reasonable, however in my own sky experience- when I have been so burnt out by socializing in sky or maybe have a bad experience that almost makes me want to quit , I will log in just to cr alone and randomly I will experience a good moment with someone that makes me realize things are okay and my experiences with people in sky can be both good and bad , looking back I appreciate that the random good moment happened because it opened myself back up to people again in sky,

If I had my way tho I'd have kept myself on offline mode for possibly forever , whether it's a good or bad thing, idk

a person on another server (im posting the idea here with her permission) suggested the following:
if you have the "do not disturb" option on and someone tries to teleport to you, you would get a "[Friend] wants to join you. Accept? yes/no" popup. that way people could ask for permission to join you and you'd have the option to decline, instead of just having to trust that people honor the "x wants to play alone" message.

There’s actually this triangle where you can zoom toward them (like autoholding except you just land next to them not grab their hand) and they’ll have a 🚫 above their head but still appear grey . When you click on them reveals their avatar and name

You can’t see each others messages, when they type and press send there’s nothing . Even when you sit on a chat bench.

Can two people, one with the manta projector and one willing to get krilled and/or put down to a crawling state test to see if the manta projector from the other person that places it, lights it, and turns it on see that the other person sees this as well? Or will the injured person have to turn it on themselves?

Omg tried to place a prop midair and it opened the shared space menu for rotating and moving props . Is this supposed to happen? I read in the known issues that a bug that causes midair props to be possible was accidentally fixed.. edit: is that why the prop I placed midair opened the shared space menu?

It's less about "we can't be bothered," and more related to the fact that Aurora's songs are her IP and the concert was part of a collaboration, which has different requirements to be able to access compared to content that is 100% our IP
