In case you wanted a more direct answer regarding Vault not having a wardrobe:

1. In really old builds of the game, the inside of Wasteland Temple used to have a wardrobe, while the Wasteland Elder cutscene occurred outside where the krill would appear. Presumably, the current Wasteland Temple would've been considered the entrance to Vault at the time with the wardrobe
2. Entering the Office requires the Founder's Cape, and a dev has previously mentioned that they didn't want strangers camping by a wardrobe waiting for passerbys to change into the Founder's Cape before bugging them to be let inside

so we have roughly enough days of feast to get 220 candles if we grind and then 200 by the end of aurora if we continue to grind so I think I might be able to get the expensive igc items to test them all out if I grind which like sucks considering we're not supposed to feel the need to grind in beta

The Yeti from 2022 haves a total price of 150 candles (maybe it will change)

I can definitely see the resemblance. I think it will be ok though. Plus it’s a snowman, so it’s gonna be round and white (or at least I’d hope it wouldn’t be any other color). If it was an actual robot creature I’d have some concerns but it’s a pile of snow that is really just for decoration. It’s also igc so they aren’t profiting from the design. Just my own thoughts

when you put them on, the player's screen would darken a bit, so the bright light isn't that bright anymore
that would be a good way to counteract this for players who have problems with bright light

Yes that's a big issue amongst the whole game.
These bloom effects trick the brain to feel them too bright which really makes eyes (or brain) hurt and the overdone contrast of deep shadows make it worse

it would be genuinely offensive if flight (the origin of the first visor-like cosmetic) had something like the feather headdress of the american indigenous people because it holds meaning to the culture

I love the new sound fx ratios. A lot of sound effects (flaps, wind) are more silent and I can hear the birds even more in forest. So relaxing.

sky does draw from real world influences to inform the costume design of the cosmetics in the game, but generally it goes through the ye olde sky filter to make sure it adheres to the world of sky.

as for the "teaching about background", think about the context in which the sun visors were introduced in:

• navigator travels a lot so clearly needs eye protection, hence the visors help while maintaining the steampunky modern vibe of aviator goggles. It's a clever blend between modern and traditionally designed eye protectors.
• yeti goggles work in a way where it's only introduced during feast -> northern people wear the visors to protect their eyes against snow blindness, so it works in the context it's introduced in. If the item were added alongside Days of Sunlight it would make zero sense.

I love environmental storytelling so I think a lot about how real life informs fantastical design interpretations lol

I tried out the yeti cape in a candle run. It moves slightly differently than the juggler cape and has a very unique flapping sound to me in this build. Because of this and the colors inside I feel it's an entirely new cape.
