On beta, when collecting SC during a season, I get the wax in the surrounding area, but I do the whole map for whatever realm the tasks are on. Candles add up quickly.

i remember the last beta wave so vividly cuz it was my birthday and my partner woke me up just to find out it was already full after less then 10 minutes

In beta we get 25 sc a day so if you just run for those then when conversion hits you have plenty candles for during events, I think that's how most beta players sustain themselves, but some probably do an odd run here and there when there's events we need to test during a season

This happened to me with yesterday's dailies, I tried refreshing them by going into a realm and homing, tried reactivating at the shrine clicking repeatedly (lol) and then even restarted app and device, they didn't fix so I think it's a bug. It's likely they tentatively set a season timer in advance and then schedules didn't match, but we already know not to trust the countdowns.

Count down has never really been reliable for beta if I recall correctly - since testing of a season can be extended/delayed/cut-short/restarted/etc... As I understand it, it's kinda like a timer on a microwave in that way. If you're microwaving popcorn, sometimes it's all popped before the microwave hits the end of its timer, sometimes you need to give it more time. It all depends on the kernels

Enchantment: first season to have a seasonal area that had seasonal candles in it too

for me I find it interesting to see how TGC has improved on previous seasons based on feedback, because that's fun to see
like how shattering has improved on group based participation for shard events as opposed to assembly having the certain number of player lock in order to complete it, participation becomes optional, but is much easier with more players

As for the season of Abyss, it had a lot of cool aspects that were taken out which left a negative impact on it for me. A lot of cool things that were removed, such as the ship, the manta statue, the turtle, the jellyfish area but the same main quest that was repeated through the entire thing sucked

abyss was the most impressive to me in terms of the feeling of exploration with the quests
The flow felt similar to sanctuary where you would report back at the bells every time, but with abyss you'd report to the ship every time you collected power diamonds, and there was much more interaction with the spirits in storyline and the big fishus + krill being there

A good way to know is to look from playstore itself. If you have the "play" option you probably are not kicked out and rather maybe have a problem outside of the beta itself but if you dont have an option to play from playstore you are most likely out

It might be related to the Google account itself, this happened before with my GC account, it would crash when I tried to log in, it just resolved on its own when I tried a different log in method (although it originally had me logged out of GC for no reason)

I think older devices that released with an older version of Android (Like the Note 9. It released with Android 8.1 and updated to Android 10 later) might not have had the Vulkan driver updated with the OS update, so it's still going to crash if the Vulkan driver is still the older one.

I would, yes because my 980 is about 5 times faster than the X1 in the switch. (With Sky not able to reach 60 fps on the Switch often, I wouldn't have hope for Journey reaching anything over 40fps either.)

It's a problem when it becomes spamming, as in multiple messages being sent and the only thing being talked about. If you are bored, excited, frustrated, etc. it's alright to wait for the next update in 84 years here together, but we should still keep it Beta related

yeah i don't mind if the season takes a while to come to beta because the devs are working their hardest to make it fun it's also a collab so they might be working legal stuff out with aurora

yeeee i'm hoping shattering and android 8 fixes come out next patch if possible especially having a way to access the memories after the season ends because you can't get those wl back after you visit eden and will be inaccessible to new players unless the shattering guide gets a permanent location

I actually like this season a lot. It's fun seeing the community hunt for shards right after reset. There is something to do every day with the season rather than interacting with quests every couple weeks. I also like the alternative to doing eden runs for more casual players. I think it will age well, especially when the map system goes live.

i'm thinking they should put the guide in eden since shard events don't show up until your second run but i don't know what to do about the memories my first thought was to have them on a cycle after every event if we can't just enter them from the guide, but then it'd take a week to finish a wlr if you don't ignore the memories

also YEAH my main issues with it is that they don't have a set schedule and the bright flash after every event they could patch out the flash but i don't know how possible giving the shards a schedule would be assuming the devs are willing to at all
