Don't forget to meditate and teleport to the event area, afterwards, to complete it

u gotta melt most of the darkness, then when the big shard in the middle breaks, you start the light collection by meditating there first!
once uve collected all the light/memories, the shard event ends and rewards you with wax, then approach the seasonal guide that pops up and visit/view the memory

After the shard lands, the sky should only be changed in the area of the impact after it has landed. If it isn't showing red skies in broken bridge/boneyard, it's probably a bug

Good news, the darkness seeds have the same properties in the memory as in normal occurrence, so you sort of hover when you get close to them. Those combined with antigravity spell make it possible to solo the memory.

Oh yeah... I got quasi-disconnected twice whilst doing it, could still burn and even help out the other sky kid who was there. But then I got stuck in the ending cutscene for a good minute or 2. Ok. After burning plants you meditate. Then you complete 2nd part (collect fragments). After that a blue crystal appears.

You need to tap on it (at times from so close than even almost embrace it) and that will allow you to go to the memory

The shard is in hermits valley, which is above the village of dreams. You can access village of dreams through the entrance right of the social area, or the entrance on the right hand side of the colliseum after either race. To get to hermits valley, take the boats all the way up the mountain

The shards are brand new for this season. Shards will crash and create dark plants you need to burn away. Red shards will drain your winged light when you are near, but give Ascended Candles after you complete a short quest. Black shards give normal wax and no quest/memory

I would always make sure to turn on my volume to max when there’s red crabs. Just so that I can listen to its shrieks when it is about to attack (and then jump around so it doesn’t hit me)

I have a tip for the shard crabs: zoom out your camera and aim it above you, then they can’t sneak up behind you and attack

So if you go to the village of dreams and travel up the gondola lift, you'll get to Hermit Valley. You just have to go on the lift two times, one from the village of dreams and one right in front of where you get off of that first ride.

if ypu dont get the candle after shard event with server errors keep hitting retry and attempt to move away from the shard a bit while hitting retry. it should yank ypu out of the cutscene between errors and give tou candles then

for the seasonal quests complete a red shard and meditate using the season icon after you finish the shard event. once you're taken to the memory it'll complete the quest

I really think TGC was hoping players would make up a story for them there's no spirits. no emotes or calls or stances. no cutscenes. just a frozen 3d sculpture. they may have been more focused on their first ever procedural generation in game and making procedural generation work in a game that breaks when the schedule is off by 12 seconds was a huge deal for them.

ddos can also just be something automated messing up and sending bad data that overloads the system trying to process it, not always malicious in nature. this is more an issue on AWS end not TGC

The issue with the servers is most likely something going on with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and not TGC itself as AWS powers the game like Kai said

The shards fall in the realms in regular areas, you don't need to go to Eden to complete them. In fact they don't fall in Eden at all since the whole thing is kind of like an extreme shard event
