If you don't have the pass, you can get one from candle bunches in the daily realm +4 from the daily quests. The shard events give out either ascended candles or regular candles (right now it's only AC ones though)

So the max amount of seasonal candles you can get per day is 5 without the pass and 6 with

Kinda confused about this season of shattering. What does the seasonal guide want me to do for the first quest??
Usually it shows the new realm and where to go with a usual flashback in previous seasons. But all it keeps saying is about the red shards that has fallen around the kingdom of sky. I thought we were supposed to unlock memories

so what's happening is eden is errupting and big shards from the mountain are falling in the kingdom of sky. the shard will always fall in the same realm of the daily quests. they fall every 2 hours and last a little under an hour for the event so you've got time to complete it. what you have to do is find the fallen shard, burn the dark plants around it, then meditate and collect the memories

Sounds like seeing players on a different platform. Players on switch and players on mobile don't see the same shards or crabs, but the crabs you see will still go after them

SOME IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT TODAYS SHARD EVENT

1. it’s at the bird nest! I had to google what that was 😂 Go to prairie to the first main area (after prairie spawn) and then go to the wind tunnel to your right; you’ll need 4 prairie spirits unlocked to get through there. (I’ll post a video tomorrow on how to get there)
2. As soon as you enter the area you will be thrown into the middle of the event! Fly to the right if you can, into the clouds but be careful not to be thrown into the shards. Find somewhere safe to land and scope out the area. I sent to the top of the steps and I was safe there.
3. Everything is very close together, so you need to be extra careful when navigating the area. Don’t run in blind, don’t jump around wildly. Take it slow if needed.
4. There are no corrupted crabs!! There are two regular crabs you need to knock over, but the main obstacle is trying not to run into the shards
5. The second half of event is a flying one. They’re really close to shards though so please be very careful! Take your time, see where everything is. You’ll be flying very close to the shards.

Granny happens one hour at :30 and shard happens an hour after that
