I was very reluctant about the swimming (mainly out of worry of the lore implications - I feel very odd about the idea of skykids breathing (I don’t think they do but rather it’s ‘fire needs oxygen’)), but I’m very pleasantly surprised at how well it blends in

I don't think it's weird, they are described as scavengers by TGC, so I could see it having some pirate influence along with like Scandinavian/Viking influence as well

And the "fire needs oxygen" idea is pretty interesting! That's a cool way of interpreting the need to breathe, because I know it's been kind of vague before if the sky kids are actually "alive" or if they're more like animated stone beings or something like that

There's 2 types of oxygen mask, the Ultimate Reward and the ones you can find at the uppermost part of Seasonal Quest. Former is priced at 1 Seasonal Heart, the latter pricing is not yet revealed at the moment

hey so there are some spirits like memory whisperer that don't have a statue to burn after "reliving their memories"

will that count for the relive a spirit's memories quest or can we only do the ones with statues to burn

as far as I know it will only count for spirits you watch the cutscene of, but I’m not actually sure try it out and for science and then complete the levitating spirit on the same floor if it doesn’t work

In wasteland, the easiest relive is imo the fainting soldier. Right in the first area, and only 2 memories+a fairly short cutscene (tho I do want the cutscene requirement to go away)

IMO, if you have the candles, get the cape. It's one of the spirits (TS) that has not visited in a long time and you might end up regretting not gettimg the cape and wait again for a while for who knows how long. But that's just a suggestion, it's always up to you whether you'll get it or not

Recently I went on a bit of a vacation from Sky after getting… bored. Yes, yes, I know, hard to believe but dramatic sigh it’s true (I have since turned my life around – I no longer play Among Us). It’s just that after playing for around a year I got tired of the endless routinely chore that I felt the game had become. Get up, candle run first two realms, go to school, come home, candle run last four realms, hope and pray that my friends from the other side of the world are by some miracle online, get sad, light my friends’ stars, wait for traveling spirit, get disappointed, rinse and repeat! The endless cycle became way to much for me, and eventually I decided to leave the game behind. Some time passed and Sky failed to cross my mind as I endlessly searched for the next fun open world adventure I could participate in. But that one costs too much, that one has no elements of structured gameplay whatsoever, that one’s way too empty, that one has weird controls, that one – well, you get the picture. No other game out there really captured my mind as much as Sky did. So, after said vacation, I decided to give Sky another go, and just in time, too! The Season of Abyss was already out and ready to be played. Figuring I’d just check out the new area because, eh, why not, I board the flying boat in the Golden Wasteland… and am immediately blow away. HOLY CRUD GUYS THIS SEASON IS SO GOOD! The opening area with the Isle of Dawn-ish arches and sandy rocks, the swimming mechanics, and the beautiful underwater area (which I ended up calling “The Great Below” as a result of my failure to see the title card) perfectly reinvigorated that joy of exploration, discovery, and social connection that had drawn me to Sky so long ago. Now I’m hyped for what’s to come, and am excited to share it with y’all!
