Can it protect me from the Dark Dragon?
Yes, but it will also depend on how you placed the item. Keep in mind that this is not its intended purpose.

How about in Eden?
|| It does protect you from smaller rocks, but when it comes to larger rocks, the parasol will be useless because it is too small, unlike the tent prop from Assembly. Some rocks also have a tendency to hit a player from the side when they break into pieces as soon as they hit the ground which affects/reduces the player's energy.

I would say this is a better option than Tent since the Tent is a flat surface and you can mostly get targeted there even under it, the funky Umbrella is tilted side ways which makes somewhat of a shield position.

but furthermore they're both props, that's not use or it and mostly not safe since you need to have a certain positioning of both you and the prop

Oh, they must have referred to either a candle pack from the iap shop or incorrectly saying the extra candles preorders offer / are gifted to you when buying a pass

Individual seasonal candle packs give 15 candles.
Buying or being gifted a pass will gift you 20 candles
A preorder-- which is only offered the week or so before a new season-- gives 30 candles. (note: this doesn't apply for gifted preorders, they'll give 20 candles instead)
