You should have seen a small cutscene to highlight the meditate spot. If not, Climb into the treehouse via the ramps. If you still don’t see it, make sure you’ve talked to the quest giver at the main treehouse.

Those bugs got fixed because beta updates and changes before hitting live. beta content is always subject to change, but season has arrived in live, it's not likely they'll change the backpacks but you're free to leave your feedback in #live-feedback

For people asking what the prop items are for, here are what i think they are for:

Torch (marching spirit) - you can light it up and it can recharge your cape, it can also light up the area around you.

Spotlight (facepalm spirit) - it's a spotlight mostly used for decorative or fun purposes, it casts a circular shadow of light.

Hammock (scared/ ew spirit) - it can be places and you can lay down on it while it sways back and forth and i think you can view chats from chat tables with it.

Hoop (chuckling spirit) - when you place it it floats and bops up and down. Its up to your imagination really. You can use it as a perch, a frame for screenshot photos, make a flying obstacle course with your friends or play with krills and try to make them go through it

As for the non-seasonal items that the quest giver has that costs hearts and candles:

Pillow, pot and bookshelf- is for decorative purposes and used for roleplaying when you put a lot of props together with friends. You can make a little house together

Brazier- the mini stone that you can burn, similar to the torch, it can recharge you. Faster than the feast table but slower than the torch.

The tent- it can protect you and your friends from rain

Summary: most of the props are for role play and decorative purposes (since ive seen a lot of skykids suggest in #wishlist-and-ideas-archived that they want to build houses or little rooms for themselves )

Seasonal candles, I have the AP which means I get an extra candle in addition to the five a day and there's currently a bug where collecting the extra candle which you get from the return shrine doesn't give you the candle, but I just collected my 4 quest candles from the quest giver but received 5
