3. close game totally
4. wait for 20 seconds
5. open game
6. tp back to village
7. fly to that spirit as fast as you can (be the first one)

Guys if you're struggling with the first seasonal quest, someone said to put your phone on airplane mode. It worked for me.
Go to the spirit, light it up, turn on airplane. Run to the middle of ice rink to start the quest sequence, and turn airplane off (this is for skater girl):stickerLove:

If someone having trouble collecting spirits, I had this stupid fix
Disable all internet connection while you collecting the spirit (press ok everytime app will show error), and then enable connection again after learning the emote, when you are ready to press the emote button after spirit is relived
The problem with missing spirits is within the TGC servers, so without the connection to servers you should be able to get data, that is saved in app itself

Or just be a decent human being and wait for a patch

I had the same issue but I just tried a few times resetting the game and then reentering the village anew and running straight to the spirit of interest. It worked the third time or so: the spirit was finally there and I was able to relive it

ok so, get to the check point in the middle. then close sky. open it, and go to your check point. then, fly to your desired spirit as fast as you can. done! some spirits may "finish" and slowly slide towards the end. if this isn't the yeti, it's fine.

I had issues with collecting 2 of the spirits. I force closed the app and then from the home warped back to the area to the spot where a spirit didn’t work. I was then able to complete both the missing spirits. Would advise to do the same or wait patiently for TGC to fix

-Start the game
-Go to Valley
-Enter the Dream top entrance
-IMMEDIATELY turn off your internet once inside
-Go to the spirit you want
-Do their task(you'll have to click retry connecting to internet a lot while doing this)
-Turn on internet right BEFORE lighting up their statue
-Light em up

idk if you still need help but assuming that the cliff girl you’re referring to and the hermit spirit are one and the same, here’s how you can find it: locate the candle cake and from there go in a straight line. It will be between two buildings.
